They did NOT show the ending credits, which are always far more complete and important than the opening ones. 99% of real movie lovers will be outraged by that!
I HATE IT when either the beginning or the ending credits are cut off, and so do almost all movie viewers! Although some names are duplicated, each set has a lot of info that is not included in the other set. This outrageous butchering of movies is becoming more and more common all the time. It does nothing at all to avoid RUclips copyright strikes, and people who don't want to see them can just skip them.
So WHY IN THE HELL DO THEY ROB THE MAJORITY OF VIEWERS? WE WANT BOTH SETS OF CREDITS!
I do like the modern colorization though. It adds so much depth and detail, making it seem so much more real and alive.
I also disagree about colorization. I like it. This film was almost all in blackness and hard to see. The new colorization is well done, and it adds SO MUCH depth and detail, changing flat, boring, grey, nothingness into something much closer to reality. In short, it improves all films a lot.

Thank you for posting these Black and White films that mean so much, they just always have such a specialty and generally genuine realism to them with the actors abilities. The actors in this film including Joel Mccrea ( always always a favorite and what a gentleman and sweet man), Edward G. and many others !! With 1 big exception..... Miriam Hopkins ! She can be a talented actor which is apparent, but she always gets on my nerves, she is cast most often as the snooty, better than, actual B..ch in her roles as she does it so well, it comes natural for her cause she never appears to be "acting", she's rather obnoxious and always of a show boat personality which is down right cruel and mean !! Oh yes, it is a movie with a great director and cherished loved actors that we'll never forget and always enjoy and would never want to let go them. All but Miriam, Mean Women !!!! I just had to speak up and state what my view is, I know, who really cares what I think, right! I know, but she really got on my nerves more so in this film. I know I'll be criticized for this comment, but it is what it is.❤ Thanks

Just the movie I needed to see again. This is a great movie filled with hilarious one liners.
Miriam Hopkins is one of my old favorite actresses. Who else is here? None other than Walter Brennan, Old Atrocity himself, my man. 😂

Im 75. When we were kids Dads Uncle Mendel Silberberg was Edward G Robinsons entertainment attorney. He and his wife were always at Christmas dinner with us at Uncle and Aunt Dorothys home. He was always friendly with us youngsters. Dont know why they did not have their son with them.
One year the white gloved butler dropped the turkey platter. Aunt Dorothy said, "Just bring the other one ." Of course there was no other one.

You should see Edward G Robinson in the film Our Vines Grow Tender Grapes, with Margaret O'Brien. It's an excellent film, and both of them are just wonderful in it!
There's another one called something like The Red House In The Forest that's also very very good, but everyone has GOT TO SEE OVGTG.

    A classic.
I've never seen Edward G. give a poor performance, often I don't like the character he portrays but his acting is top draw.
    Walter Brennan another great actor.
    Thank you for posting.

SO MANY old American movies are film nearly completely in the dark, so you can barely see them, and this one is the same, but otherwise it's good, with very performances by all.
