I love watching Michelle, I really like Seint makeup. I’m 64 and the texture of the makeup is like using skincare for me. I use serum under it and the Seint seals it all in. You are beautiful and the makeup looks amazing on you.

I'm a makeup artist and can't see myself ever sticking to one brand. I love painting too and getting a new texture or colour is so exciting. But, the makeup is beautiful and so many women don't want to have a pile of makeup.

I love my Seint! I have been using it for two years now! I started with an 8 set first and I now have the 27 pallet and all the brushes! I also have freckles too!

I really wanted to try this out -- especially when my son was getting married last year -- but it has lanolin in it and I'm deathly allergic to any and all sheep/sheep by-products. I wonder if Seint will ever release a vegan line?
**side note, I actually had a personalized shade-match consult with Michelle Speiler when I was trying to figure out "mother of the groom" makeup in late February of 2022. She was incredibly knowledgeable and kind throughout! I had a cart filled with all of her suggestions and just as I was about to check out I clicked back to double-check ingredients. The website said allergen free, so I didn't think to check before then. I was so disappointed when I discovered the lanolin ingredient and realized I wasn't able to try any of it. Boo!
I love yours and Michelle's channels! We're all in the same age group and you give such great advice for changing mature skin that the "youngins" just don't understand yet. Everything that looked great even just 5 years ago doesn't work the same anymore, so it's like re-learning all over again for me. Oh no Mandi, that's so frustrating. I've never even thought about lanolin being an allergen. Now I want to check a bunch of my makeup to see if it's in there.
Thank you so much for the nice message. I met Michelle from TikTok and then a bunch of us went on a cruise in the fall. I never pictured myself going on a cruise but I had to meet the girls and I'm so glad I did. Michelle has been so helpful. Her heart is always in the right place and I love how she wants to see all women succeed. All of the ladies I met were the same. Beautiful souls!

You always seem SO kind, and I would love to know you in person. MLM’s are a mixed bag. I am incapable of selling anything, so they haven’t appealed to me. Some do sell decent products. One problem I have with some is when friends repeatedly tag me or contact me to buy things I’m not interested. Then there are those who sell something and start pushing L’Ange. That companies marketing is so over the top that it makes me unfollow people who advertise for them.
I haven’t heard of L’Ange. Now I have to check it out. 😀
I haven’t jumped into Seint because I don’t believe there is one brand that is better than the other necessarily. I like and dislike products from all brands.
And it’s all personal preference. But it would be nice to be able to offer it to people who it is meant for.

You're very welcome, Lydia. What foundations are you using now? I didn't continue to use Seint but it doesn't mean it's not for you. My friend Michelle swear by it and she's a professional makeup artist. Michelle doesn't have the hyperpigmentation that I do. She really has flawless skin.
I think it totally depends on the coverage you're looking for, how you prep your skin and how foundation sit on your skin.
It is very easy to use though, especially if you don't have the hyperpigmentation I do.
Hi Julie! I find internet shopping terrible for makeup (unless re-ordering something you are familiar with). The makeup market is overwhelming on the web. I try to watch women on youtube that are similar in colour and skin needs and also someone's style is important too. I did watch Michelle's channel last year. That is where I learnt of the Seint line. I have googled reps near me but haven't come up with anyone to hook up with. I hate to keep purchasing stuff and not using it. I am not an artist so have no need for tons of makeup. Although I tend to stick to the same colour palettes I wouldn't mind a different brand. I love beautiful makeup, well done. Price is not important to me, the finish is as I have to love...especially the foundation and concealer. I am a green eyed blonde, neutral, 99 lb with good cheek/face structure. I don't wear makeup alot of days as I love my skincare routine from LED, rf, microneedling, meso. Occasionally I get sculptra. Doctors have always told me I have "good genes". My mom was beautiful to her last day. French. So I am blessed.
So I like a light to med foundation. Watching Seint videos I have heard and read it can be thick. You're video was very good in showing what a light hand can accomplish. I loved the colors on you and you could sell ice to the Eskimos so I think whoever/whichever line you represent would be lucky you to have you.
I will keep watching your videos. Love all your tips and trick and overall just enjoy watching and listening. I don't go on youtube much except to find something on particular. I allow myself do much time. I am binging on your videos. Relaxation therapy. There aren't enough hours in the day for me! Speaking of which. I think Spring is happening! The sky is SO blue and the sunshine warm!

Hi Julie I was so happy to see this video. I have been watching you for awhile now and I really love your style and personality. Also you are a fellow Canadian :). I follow Michelle and she is terrific. This year I delved into Seint makeup and yes it takes time and experimenting with my skin and skin tone but have come to love the look it gives my skin. I still play with other makeup as I am also a makeup lover but when I wear this I think wow it looks so good on mature skin. Very thin layers is the best and I use the darker shades on my sun spots - also Demi is amazing. Thank you and keep on being your sweet you and your channel will keep growing. xxoo Jackie

Another great video. As for seint, I think you get too much joy out of experimenting with different brands to stick to just one. Maybe I am wrong. You are the expert so you'll know if you like enough to go for it. I struggle to cover the hyper pigmentation on my skin also. Grrrrr is right!

Very pretty and looks so natural. I love cream makeup. Unfortunately we can’t get Seint in the UK so trying to find similar products here. Makes sense to use more than one colour foundation. My face certainly isn’t one colour all over and like you I have freckles.

Welcome to the world of You Tube. I am a recent Saint user and and Makeup lover, but I am still struggling with application after years of using liquid foundation. I have spent countless hours ( weeks) watching other Saint artists doing an application. Each one different. Michelle is an excellent teacher with a perfect complexion. Trying to cover dark circles is a bigger challenge. Good luck on your new adventure, you have a natural instinct for it.
Thank you, Leona! 🤗 it’s a different application for sure. What has been your favourite liquid foundation? I feel like with the cream, your skin has to be well prepped to allow it to slide nicely. What are you using for skin care, primer (if you use one)?
@@JulieMeikle Dont have a favorite, but yes, you need very well prepped skin for saint and a shaved face. Most of the artists I have seen are all using self brokers. And some are going for cosmetic skin procedures to smooth their skin out.Hiding sunspots is difficult.

This is the only issue I'm having. The sun spots can be covered but I have to powder it down and only use a powder bronzer and blush on top. As soon as I go over it with cream bronzer and blush, all the sunspots come back out.
I've had so many treatments for my sun spots and they're still here. It's so hard to get rid of them.

I haven't had the beds eksperiens writh cream makeup products, it looks pachy, feels sticky so I kinda gave up on them 😂 I just haven't got the patient 😅😁

I juse a little powder foundation, blush, mascara, eyeshadows, some times a blue or Grey / black eyeshadows as liner on the half of upper and downer alonge the eyelashes.
I juse eyeshadows as liner because my eyes are huddet, eyeliner and pencil liner do often transfer more then eyeshadows 😂
and it isn't pritty when it do .. 😁👍
My favorite products is mascara because it makes such a big difference, my lashes are a light brown 😊
I love my seint makeup. I don’t sell it either. There is a learning curve to get it to work the way that’s best for you.
I don’t care if it is a mlm. I like the products. Michelle spieler is awesome. She is so pretty. With her being a actual makeup artist i have learned a lot from her. I am having fun with makeup again.
It is not heavy if you use the proper amount. I don’t recommend dot method. I put my brush in it. The bk 101 brush works really well for the highlights that you use as foundation.
I think the Demi with the pink or red tones will be good for your freckles.

Hi, I just started watching you, and love your video's! Yes, please so more Seint video's. I'm fairly new to Seint, and like you, cannot seem to cover up those age spots! Help!
Hi Sharon, I haven't used Seint for a while because I couldn't cover my sun spots. it's good. I have other foundations that cover those areas better. What else do you have in your collection? Try using Seint and top those sun sports with a fuller coverage concealer. My favourite concealer to cover my spots is Hourglass Vanish Concealer but others will work too. You have to use a concealer that's the colour of your face, not the colour you would use to brighten up under your eye.
Do you follow Michelle Spieler? She's a pro with Seint. She's good to answer questions and help.

I’ve used Seint for about a year now. Was never really a foundation wearer before. At first it was a love hate relationship but now I love it 100% after getting properly colour matched and my skin got used to it.
Amazing Lorrie. Was it finding out what to prep your skin with that helped or was it knowing how much to use that took a while to figure out?
May I ask what you use the most? Do you use contour and bronzer shades? Also, do you set it with powder? I'm so curious. This video was my third time trying it. 🙂
@@JulieMeikle I think it was everything. The right primer (or no primer), using anti-aging skincare including Vit C, peptides, retinol and exfoliators, using the right amount (less is more) and tools and getting properly color matched. I learnt that I'm a cool summer so changed the tones to cooler and found a Seint artist that understood that as well as how to color correct.
@@JulieMeikle First I color correct with my 'oranger' highlight called Mango. Then I use my main highlight (foundation color) all around. Then I use my contour (very lightly as I'm not a big contour person but use to do cheekbones and jawline mainly. Then I do my eyeshadow and such. Then I add my lighter highlight down the centre and to clean up shadow. Then if I'm feeling like it, I use bronzer with big fluffy brush to add a little sunkissed look but not much at all. When I got my colours done, it was suggested I not use bronzer or contour at all (being a cool summer), so I don't use much at all so as not to muddy things up. I see some Seint artists really going heavy with the contour and bronzer, but I have not gone down that route myself. Probably a little scared, LOL. I just find every other foundation I wear feels tight on my skin or drying. Then I will use their setting powder on my shiny spots. And perhaps dab on some illuminator (their highlight). It's so versatile whether I want a light or heavier application.

Makeup is an art to me. I'll still shop and try new products and brands as they come but it will be nice to be able to offer it to those who want it.
I am thinking of trying Seint but I like more of a matt finish. What is a good setting powder so I do not have alot of shine as I’m prone to shine.
Have you purchased Seint makeup yet? What are you using for foundation now? Let's start with that and then we can go from there. There are so many good powders but we need to start with the beginning before we jump to powders.
Hi Julie. I have been on the fence about purchasing Seint after reading many not so encouraging reviews and that some of the products contain petroleum. I do love how it looks on you and I also follow Michelle, who's results look amazing as well, but what I am curious about is, does it last all day and do you have to blot or reapply product or powder to freshen up? I, like you, enjoy trying different products all the time, but never can find one that works best for me when it comes to make up.
Hmmm, I enjoy using other foundations more. I have hyperpigmentation that I want covered and it doesn't seem to matter what I do, when I layer the creams on top of each other my hyperpigmentation comes through.
I've seen Michelle in person and she looks great. I have more freckles and darker pigmentation on my face so I think it's a little different for each of us. She loves light coverage and I prefer medium coverage.
I wish I could let you try mine so you'd know before you buy it.
At 57 I have gotten OVER trying to hide sun/age spots. Life causes expressions and expression s and sun cause wrinkles, lines, spots. I’m not trying to hide my age, but celebrating every minute, day, year I’ve been given! Very nice. I love seeing an appropriate amount of the Seint applied. The over application by so many killed any interest I had in it. Seeing this has peaked my interest a little!

I want to know if you decided on Seint? I was thinking about it too. I’ve been using it for almost two months. ❤ and I really like it.
I decided to cancel my connection with Seint but that's not because of the quality. I wasn't a good candidate to be a rep for the brand because I change my makeup all the time. I started booking clients for online personalized makeup lessons. I love that because I can help women use the makeup they have in their collection and if needed, give recommendations that are suitable to their taste and price range.
Are you thinking of becoming a representative? I know women who do really well with it.
I realize this was a while ago but Amanda Weinhart Seint artist is the expert in colour correction and scarring and will know how to mute those sunspots. I wanna say she uses Athens or Aspen? It’s the dark one. She uses that first and then applies her main shade/blush and whatever else on top of that.

I should have done that. Honestly, it doesn't last on me as long as it does on others I watch. It may be the way I prep my skin. I would love to do a live video stream with Michelle so she can walk me through it as I apply it. That would be so much fun and a great learning experience for everyone.

I haven't figured out how to make it really last on me, Brandi. I don't reach for it very often. I think we have similar taste. My friend is Michelle Speiller and she is the queen of Seint. She loves it and I've seen her up. She looks beautiful. I like wearing more makeup than her I believe.

I sell seint and and have been wearing it for almost 4 years I will never wear another foundation again seint is the best on mature skin it’s beautiful gives the skin a healthy looking glow not a caked look like liquid does

What colors are you using here that you didn’t name?

You’re so sweet and your skin is so pretty! I’m 53 and new to Seint also. It’s so fun to play with and I have found skin prep and type of sunscreen matters. I’ve had the best result with Paula’s Choice Super Light Daily Defense (blue tube) Others have said Elta MD UV Clear is also great, but I’ve only tried UV Elements as I’ve used it for years.
For your hyperpigmentation, Sarah @ The Contoured Chemist goes into great detail on how to cover as she has some dark points on her face also. She’s also a wealth of knowledge in general about all things Seint. I love Michelle’s videos too.
Your highlight won’t cover melasma unless it’s dark enough to match your darkness. Mango is a great overall color correcting shade. I can even use it and I’m fairly light. To neutralize the warmth I then stipple on my main shade which varies between Athens and Sandy depending on if I have a tan. Tiny amounts of everything. Demi can also work but you likely need a different shade. And Demi needs to go over your highlight not under or just use by itself. Creams don’t set so you have to powder and/or use a setting spray. Plus I haven't had a chance to really research this because I'm filming so many other types of videos. Guaranteed, I'm doing this wrong. There's not enough time in the day.

51?? No way!!! Drug store makeup is what I can afford at this time of my life. And when I used to use high end makeup I never saw that the much higher price was justified in results and wear.
The drugstore options are wonderful. What brand do you typically use? Or do you mix it up? Have you tried the new Elf Satin Foundation? One of my favourite foundations is the Revlon Illuminance in the clear bottle. it's so pretty.
Finally after 2 years of following Seint Artists I orders $200 worth of it. I am so bummed I am not impressed with it al all ! I have tried several different techniques and moisturizers but nothing did the trick ITs so tacky , I actually think my color match is off too. I am sending it back but really bummed it didn't work out. I will say that I have orders several eye shadows which I love but the actual foundation /highlight/ whatever they call it was nothing spectacular, especially for the cost. I liked the artist I worked with but she wasn't familiar with the return/exchange policy I think that is something she should know.
