I support the idea of Drag Kings of having their own Drag Race Show! Hell, I'll watch! Drag Kings deserve to have their own spotlight within the Drag and LGBTQ communities!
I wish some people with the coin would back Landon having their own show for drag kings 🤷🏾 not even because I wouldn't want to see them on RPDR (im here for all forms of drag on RPDR) but just because I feel a new space could be created and expand drag on television. RPDR, Dragula AND a show for drag kings? **chefs kiss**
And then have a season of established kings vs queens it could like an invasion. Mix in tha boulet brothers somehow it would be epic

I think Rupaul missed at least the opportunity to use kings in challenges and stage performances on rpdr or give them a spin-off show
We need a show for Kings, I am not sure RPDR is a good place. A show like that needs a judging panel, who can judge Kings. I don't think Ru and the rest of the panel is qualified to do it
This speaks volume, even as a Drag queen or gay man we can be very closed minded and keep us in a box. I think this could be a great introduction to the show. I stopped watching rupaul some time ago just for person reason. I agree that ru has tooken amazing strides to get to where she is, but she may just be comfortable and don't want to take a risk. Ru is an icon for the LGBTQ COMMUNITY and speak volume when it come to a certain group more than others . Love you ru but open your mind and move on with the time. Adapt and evolve girl

Wow, I saw Landon Cider win Dragula, but never heard him speak in an interview, I’m very impressed👏
As someone who use to give my $1 to RuPaul when she was the Punk Rocker, Club Kid, GoGo Dancer, Drag Queen, paying her dues @ the bar/event and got to interact with him before the 1993 Super Model of the World fame thing blew-up. RuPaul was very open to all kinds of drag and weirdos.
As such, I would like to think that he sits around that World of Wonder table, being a Scorpio perfection trying to enhance & improve what’s changes he can, as her WoW producing partners are “let’s not f*ck with the formula, if it isn’t broken”. However, as a fellow Scorpio, I can’t see the show not eventually making room for all types of drag.
I know RuPaul to be a sharp business and extremely private. What you see is her tv reality show personality & professionalism, in front & behind the cameras. He’s built an Empire that now offers an opportunity for Drag performers to have a Celebrity platform online, go on tour or be booked at bars for an increased booking fee like some type of celebrity.
However, the show’s main objective is to continue to put on an entertaining successful reality show for the viewers at home that might bring awareness to the challenges endured by the LGBT contestants on the show and their tenacity in overcoming adversity. In the end, perhaps tolerance and acceptance is the bigger message of the show “Everybody say, Love”
She is so eloquent and fabulous. Her beat is so structured and beautiful.
Drag Race UK has it's first AFAB contestant this year so finger crossed we'll see kings soon!
Dragula also has an AFAB on their show too!!

We've come a long way, baby. Back in the Way Back Then Dayz, Drag Kings all looked like Porter Wagoner, Greased back bouffant, plaid western shirt, big belt buckle, jeans and boots. Those are the Ladies I Grew Up With, my mom came out in 1971, I've never been ashamed or thought I was strange for being Gay.

Been wanting a Kings of drag race for years.
Rupaul’s OPINION is not universal. He is entitled to it and he has the freedom to apply it to his show…that’s how far it should go. A shame it has been extended and influenced local shows.
It is however down to each event manager and club owner to champion all types of drag in their venues. I would love to see the full range of drag and I am confident that it will happen sooner than we all thought.

Dude Landon would SLAUGHTER on drag race.
I think it would be cool if drag kings had their own competition instead of just hoping to see one on a season of regular drag race. Look how long it took for a bio queen to get on, y'know? And you don't see any queens like the ones on Dragula on Drag Race. Maybe Sharon "Party City" Needles could count because she's spooky but that's literally it. Add to that how show is so heavily focused around queens in particular right down to the verbiage.
They'd probably also need a entirely different panel of judges. Maybe it's just me but I don't see Ru or Michele being that interested or even well-versed enough in drag kings to pass it off as proper judgment.

I think that she should make a separate race for kings. People need to understand its literally RUPAULS drag race which means ru has a right to decide what kind of contestants to feature. Ru has opened a lot of doors FOR LBGT in general so to constantly force our ideas of what his show should be on him is disrespectful. People speak out more on Ru not including this or that kinda queen vs the blatant racism the black Queens face which says ALOT.
Also, not for nothing because I know everyone hated it but when Paramount+ did that “Dragging With The Classics”, they used Ben De La Creme for a Male Role. Why not instead of using the Drag Queen who is out of Drag, use a Drag King like Landon Cider? Or in the HBO Show “We’re Here”, Landon was only used once as a Guest. They could’ve had him on Permanently to show how Kings & Queens can mingle & do Drag & are on that same level. Granted World of Wonder of Wonder isn’t in charge of We’re Here but you can’t say that those three being on Drag Race didn’t help them get that opportunity.

Heyyyy, take this as an opportunity and make your own show for Kings!!! 😀. I think you and other kings need to be seen, so just do it and don't get yourself wrapped up in trying to be mix with the queens. There is an oudience for everyone. And we would enjoy a new and different show 🤷🏻♂️

I love Landon, he is an amazing and talented preformer. Ru Paul broke down barriers but that doesn't give him the right to gatekeep now. Landon should be on Drag race he won Dragula. I actually prefer the Boulets to RU now as their show is all inclusive and deserves more attention. Ru has introduced trams queens and there is an AFAB queen on Uk3 so why not Landon for season 15? Keep fighting Landon you deserve so much attention and fans.

Drag Kings SHOULD be on Drag Race. At this point Drag Race has become the epitome of Drag Culture. If you want to make the most money, if you want the highest praise, & you want to do that doing Drag, you NEED Drag Race for that. So how is it fair when only Cisgender Gay Men or Male Presenting Queens get that opportunity?
A RuGirl could make $1k in a single gig
A Dragula Ghoul might make close to that but not as much
A Pageant Winner might make somewhere between $100 to $300 for the night
A Local Performer will make less than $100 or it might just be a Tip Spot
This is why if we exclude AFAB Performers (yes I know Gottmik & Victoria Scone but that was recent), Trans Women (yes I know we have Trans Women competing but not always the case), Kings, we end up creating a Wage Gap in the Drag Industry. We add to the already misogynistic workforce that pays those marginalized groups a lot less then their Cis Male Peers.
At this point Drag Race has become bigger than RuPaul (especially given she’s not the only Host Across Currently 9 Different Iterations of the Show) & therefore it also has now a responsibility to showcase all of a Drag Culture not just one small part of it.
Start your own show… I really wish people would quit telling Ru what he can and can’t say. He’s entitled to an opinion, whether you agree or not. Get over it.

I'm sorry but the vast majority of Ru's fans are gay men and they are simply not interested in drag kings. It's not that kings aren't valid drag performers, but it is like trying to put a square peg in a round hole... it just doesn't work so stop trying to force with the "inclusivity" buzz word. Your better off creating your own platform than trying to riding in on Mama Ru's size 14 pumps.

Not here for that, to me that’s a different show completely which might be good but I’m not willing to sacrifice RPDR as it is in its current form. I do believe it could be an spin off. Just not on the same show. If I want to se guys in makeup I can just look at the gay guys at the club.
