Seminar on "Qudit-aided compilation of qubit-based algorithms" by Dr. Evgeniy Kiktenko (RQC)

On Wednesday, January 22 at 11.00, Moscow time, ACTP will hold a seminar on "Qudit-aided compilation of qubit-based algorithms" by Dr. Evgeniy Kiktenko (Russian Quantum Center).
Abstract
The use of quantum information carriers with more than two available levels, known as qudits, opens up new possibilities for implementing quantum algorithms. This report will examine how qudits can be utilized for transpilation and compilation of quantum circuits that are initially represented as a sequence of operations on qubits. It will also address the specific features of using qudits in the context of available physical two-particle interactions. Additionally, some recent experimental achievements in the development of qudit architectures for quantum computing will be discussed.
