Definition of Refurbished: RMA was returned and reboxed with free shipping. What a great deal!
Pretty much. Refurbished is a scam
That is true most of the time. However Mirco Center has a good policy regarding used electronics anyways
I’ve heard that Nigreedia Allready lowered their production of the 4000 series to prepare for the 5000 series.
My guess is that the 5000 series will be more expensive to make it look like the 4000 is a better deal when it launches.
Honestly they are an AI company after all and don’t seem to care.
nvidia lower the production of 40 series right now so by the time 50 series launch there won't be many 40 series inventory left for partner to clear. 50 series will be expensive simply because nvidia think they can charge such price not because they want to make 40 series like a good deal compared to 50 series.
Yes quite so. But I will do my part and not support their tricks.
On the bright side though the used market will get cheaper. When a new product launches the older product will drop in price.
What I want to know is how much old new stock they still have before they slowed production. I think they thought they had good products people wanted and went crazy at the beginning. lol
I see good point
I am still rocking my EVGA FTW3 GTX 1080TI. I usually upgrade every other generation.....but the last 3 generations were just blah and cost way too much. I can afford any gpu I like, but I refuse to be hosed.
Okay Boomer…
I don’t blame you the GTX 1080TI is still fine today at 1080p high settings anyways. I believe it will still be relevant for another couple years.
@@AnonymousUser-ww6ns Let’s get real here… a 1080ti is NOT going to begin to touch frames even at 1080p for anything above a 4060 in today’s cards. Yes, it’s impressive but you are also well behind in many features in newer cards. An RTX 4070 is on average 50% higher frame rate… and that is a reasonably priced card.
I see. Prehaps it does lose an edge in some games. But for the majority of games it still fine.
Honsently I would just ride it out until driver support gets gutted.
However if he wants to upgrade and wants Nivdia. Then I would wait for 5000 series and then pick up used 4080 or 4090.
@@fractalelf7760 12GB isnt bad but I hope 5070 is 16GB for $500 as it should have been this gen.
Before starting the video, I will say that there’s not a lot of “hallmark” games people are rushing to get a GPU for. Money has become tighter in general as well so that doesn’t help things much either. Also, for people aiming for the 4080/4090, Nvidia has been better restocking the FEs as of lately
There are no more 4090FEs.
@prop Yeah 4090 FE’s are over. However New Thrid party 4090 are still around
@@BlackJesus8463yes there is Best Buy does drops constantly all day long everyday same with 4080super
@@AnonymousUser-ww6ns I'm seriously thinking there might be only one more restock before 5000 but idk who that would be for.
@prop I think so too.
Thanks for keeping track of this for us.
there are 4090 on facebook marketplace selling for lower than MSRP, obviously used but not that old. I would consider those instead of buying new.
That's not how budgets work bruh. Risking $1600 to save $100-200 isnt the play.
They probably all have melted connectors too😂
Yeah if I’m buying the 4090 used then I’m waiting until it goes under $1,000.
In addition I would buy it form Mirco Center and possibly get an extended warranty on it.
But yeah at $1,600 not worth it used
@@lancem7811 lolz
so basically the market its flooded with current GPU while the 50 series its coming soon, this its great we are into the loop again and the price of the 50 series will be insane sigh
The prices are an exact indicative of how out of touch and way above the clouds NVidia is. AMD prices are also sky high but at least AMD realizes they need to touch the ground, so they're more realistic about their customers' spending power.
their 2.9billion gaming revenue last quarter says otherwise.
@@arenzricodexd4409 How does that compare historically and did you consider inflation?
@@BlackJesus8463 historically the only time nvidia gaming revenue able to cross 2 billion mark is when there is some sort of mining craze. happen during 10 series and 30 series. 20 series? back then nvidia at best can only generate around 1.5 billion. in some quarters the sales did not even reach 1 billion. people see the shelves are full and conclude sales are very poor. of course the shelves are full when there is no mining craze happen. but it does not mean the actual sales are poor or no people buying.
😂Gamer are not interested in 4000 gpu anymore. they r too late. Gamer Want 5070 5080 is coming
That's at least a solid year away.
@@adaeptzulander2928 We'll wait as long as it takes!
@@adaeptzulander2928 Nobody wants these $500-800 12GB cards.
As they have been for the past several years, most GPUs remain grossly overpriced.
Yeah, nothing new. Haven't been to a store in years and the gpus be out of stock at all.
To me it feel like most mid to high end GPU are 50% over priced. Its greed on Nvidia part, thinking they can do no wrong and AMD seem to following suit to an extent, IMO
Newegg prices (April 4 2024) are making these decisions hard. Open box 7900XT for $649. 4070 ti super $749. 4070 ti ($689) I have never been an AMD guy but the 7900 XT at that price has me ready to switch.
Looks like they're gearing up for the 5000 series
Not this year. This is the election year.
Still use 1070... I will see now the upcoming 5060... if he be okay 1080p max settings maybe I buy...
there's no 7900xt or xtx availabe on second hand market at my place, ouh my god...
what store?
Elastic price slide continues through summer CPU and GPU and laptops big clearance sale. 7900XTX cleared down well @ sub $1000 in the last month. 79/78/77/76_ restocked, 7900GRE = flat. AMD RDNA lll including cards, SI desktops and laptop share v Ada is 7%. Intel is 1.6%. Nvidia is 91.2% today, like today. Ada cards on the shelf = 30%, cards in SI Prebuilt = 46.3%, laptops = 22.7%. Of the cards on shelf, 45% are Supers and non supers are selling off I'd say were at a cross over between old and new. For cards in SI desktops just 15.2% are Supers where Si's are moving the older stock. Of those cards on the shelf, 4080 original is 22% of 4080 Super. 4070ti original is 56% of 4070ti Super. 4070 original is 38.7% of 4070 Super which is the Super SKU that has seen a greater stocking level increase in the last month. mb
I'm just happy Nvidia executives can make so much money for doing jack $h!t!
I wish AMD was better but I'm scared to pay a grand for a GPU like the 7900XTX with their history of terrible drivers. AMD needs to try and gain market share with more competitive prices. The XTX should be $799 if they want people to take a chance with them.
I never had problems with any AMD but I hope the do some HDR like Nvidia. I never wanted them to copy anything from NVDA except that!
I won't be surprised if Nvidia starts to slow down their production of the 4000 super series already, I don't think they have been selling that well.
They just did
if you look at channel like this for the past two years then you will think like that. but if you look at nvidia financials for the last few quarters it says other wise really.
I see
@@arenzricodexd4409 They projected flat revenue through the end of the year with Q3 and Q4 having the same number of gaming sales.
Nvidia 4000 series have sold well enough due to our economy and what happening with Nvidia not being able to sell their 4090's in the Asia market.
I actually would go for a 360 AIO model if they weren't marked up so high. There's no savings over a custom loop at current pricing. Only convenince of setup and lower maintenence.
Who can afford it have bought one in the USA. We can see more people buying the top end cards for the end of the year tax write-off in the UK.
I bet the 5000 series are not going to sell very well either.
The last game that was actually good while requiring a minimum spec GPU was Elden ring. That pushed players on the old 2013/2014 gpus to bump up to* the RX580 8GB. There are no games out or coming out requiring gamers spend anywhere near the money Ngreedia wants for their GPU. The RX6700xt will hold over real budget gamers until 2030. I personally use the 7900gre and it will hold me longer than that but I tend to upgrade every other gen regardless. I did have a 6700xt and before that a 1080ti while my youngest son still uses an RX5700xt that will most likely last him 5 or 6 years until he is 12 but he will most likely get the 7900GRE from me by then.
Intel needs to drop the Battlemage already so we can tinker with it and AMD needs to sort out their messy releases.
Again "Windows bro" 😂😂😂😂
Was gonna buy a 4090 fe nvidia and Best Buy are gettting constantly restocked it’s not hard to get at msrp decided to get a 4080super at msrp from Best Buy and save the 700 to go to 5090 later this year rlly hope amd brings there a game n starts being better competition in high end
Do you even game?
@@BlackJesus8463 can you even afford the graphics cards in this video?
I feel like the fact that AMD needs to be cheaper is because they compete on price!
I argee that AMD could be cheaper.
that's the problem. AMD need decent profit for themselves. in china market AMD asking partner not to sell 6700 below MSRP just because they want to clear the stock faster. and the reports says AMD intend to take action against retailer or partner that sell those card below MSRP.
@@arenzricodexd4409 They're making cards for shareholders not gamers.
i bought xtreme waterforce aio just to not hear loud fans turns out theres propriatary fan connector so i cant switch fans without voiding warranty and the aio fans are always at 30% you cant change it to 0%
Is there an adaptor? Think I saw Jayz using something like that in on of his last videos?
To late just bought a 7900xtx
Well you didn’t want to follow buyers remorse and bought a GPU when you needed it.
Honestly the 7900XTX is an excellent GPU that well give decent performance for about 7 years.
If you got yours at around $900 then I wouldn’t sweat it
@@AnonymousUser-ww6ns I waited for the was gonna go for 4090 and be done with it. Then price went to 2k and beyond. Was gonna buy the 4080s then It was out of stock everywhere...
Finally ended up buying a used 7900xtx for $780 so yeah I'm happy.
Yeah you got a good deal on it. I would say don’t worry about it.
It perfoms very similar to the 4080 super but with a bunch of VRAM in it. It also does suck 30 more watts than the 4080 super but is not to bad.
Are you enjoying your AMD GPU so far?
@@AnonymousUser-ww6ns just got it in the mail last night haven't haven't had time to test it yet hopefully tonight!
I wish you luck. So far AMD GPUs in my experience are fine. The drivers are pretty good.
I honestly don’t care too much about DLLS and Raytracing anyways. Also I don’t use blender or any of those autocad programs.
Because consumers are waiting for the 5090.
I’ve heard that the 5000 series might be released in Q2 2024 due to weak sales with the super (Gamer Meld)
But I would take it with a grain of salt.
I still think late 2024 is the timeline for it but who knows
@@AnonymousUser-ww6ns Yeah. I'm trying to temper my expectations for the 5090.
@cap I see. However I don’t feel confident in its pricing, value, and availability.
@@AnonymousUser-ww6ns if nvidia releasing 50 series in Q2 is not because of weak sales. personally i'd expect the usual late 2024. but if nvidia want to release them early the reason will be because 40 series already reach it's target profit much earlier.
Interesting.
