- Welcome to Vlogmas!! 25 videos IN A ROW?!? Yes, here we go! It won't be the easiest thing I've ever done, especially because I can't throw right now, but I'm prepared and ready to sit down every day until Christmas get put something together for you! My Fiancé and I just bought our first house a few months ago and in this video I give you guys a little tour of our home. It's slowly but surely coming together and definitely feels like home already. This tour turned out a bit longer than I was planning but hey... I hope you enjoy!!

everything that simon does or plays, his sooooo good at them. at least if he got all of those "trickshots" for example 9 ball, darts and ps2 golf ace all in first try in camera. Pretty impressive. BTW super nice looking house

Hard work and dedication
I’ve noticed that people who become just exceptional in one area are able to apply those same “building blocks” they used to become so good at one thing, and apply easily to other areas. Sure it took longer to become how good he is at disc golf, but he uses those experiences (probably unknowingly) to new things which makes it easier to learn and excel quicker than most people. Paul is the same way, and I’m sure a lot of other disc golfers are too

So wait a second - he randomly throws in a 30+meter putt 1st try, plays piano, gets a random call from McBeth and actually hangs up, goes on to guitar a plays a freaking Classical Gas, continues with 3 bullseye's, move to TV to hit a Hole-in-one in golf-game and all along acts as if it's just another non-special rainy day ..?!?!?!??!

I'm skeptical on that disc shot bring 1st try. Where did all the other discs that were previously on the step go? Lol doesn't matter to me if it's 1st try it not, still impressive and always fun to watch

All the Tiger Woods games are putting-limited. TW '08 on the Wii is quite good because the putting is fairly natural, but it's also pretty forgiving. I can easily shoot -14 to -18 rounds on full-length Tour-setup courses, with the difficulty turned up, because the putting is easy and it also will typically give me one ace or hole-out per round (sometimes two). In other words, shooting McBeast numbers in Tiger Woods games is not all that hard. That's part of why they're popular.

As a former pool player in a low german pool league I can say it is a diffrent thing, Even in a realy low league we polished the balls before every game. Clean balls are good in more than one situation :-D

Honestly, I don't want to hear another top pro act like they aren't making a good, livable income. If he can afford this house and that pool table, how exactly are they struggling? I remember when the pandemic hit and everyone was asking to help out pros with money and places to stay. Come on now.

You seriously learned how to play classical gas on guitar? The one song I've been listening the last three weeks, (Tommy Emmanuel's and Sungha Jung's versions) multiple times a day! Even practising myself. Amazing, man!

Simon, nice house and better yet, excellent pool table! I have a Brunswick Balke Collander 9-foot table built in 1914. (they also made a 10-footer back then) It's nice, but not as good as your table because the rail mounting and shelves are much improved now.
Your space is very loud. Consider some soft surfaces or acoustical panels on that main level, which sounds like a gymnasium. Peace.
For years I have thought of doing a competition that required the contestants to play 10-15 different sports with a point system to crown the victor. Disc Golf, Golf, billiards, darts, Bowling, cornhole, horseshoes to include skills of baseball/softball, basketball, football, soccer and swimming. I’m always adding to the list but it would be a fun week. If I ever actually make it happen I’ll make sure you get an invite.

Simon, Discraft or anybody smart and crafty out there: Go invent a disc cleaning machine. There are people out there like Simon who love to play with superclean discs. And are ready to pay for this treat. Think about it.
What Simon did in his Vlogmas #1 was simply show us the amazing person he is. I'm glad to see in the comments that instead of being tempted to envy what he has and how good he is at many things, most if not all are celebrating his successes & talents. It's easy to see why...he is not pretentious or prideful about all of it in any way. What I see is someone who is extremely thankful for who & what he has (and has accomplished) in his life - he also seems to be someone who desires to be a well-grounded, good steward of it all!
While I don't know Simon personally, from what I have seen so far (as a sub-100K subscriber & father), I say that we should listen to his advice that "hard work pays off!". He didn't get here overnight - it's been a journey a longtime coming - he even crossed an ocean to follow his passion, I'm sure made many sacrifices & has done it with style!
He is a great example (doesn't look like he's trying to be) of a human being & has helped improve even my disc game after my 29 years of play! I'm thankful for him & pray his arm gets back to full strength and we see many more great things from him! [FB: cdogpinegrove]
P.S. What that being said, great hand/eye coordination lends itself to great Disc, darts, video games, musicality, billiards & bowling (that's another Vlog in itself!).
