- Welcome back to another solo camping escape! Join me as I venture into one of my cherished destinations, the Gungarlin River Campground nestled in the breathtaking Kosciuszko National Park. This time, I'm setting up camp beneath the soothing shade of majestic eucalyptus trees, right beside the serene flow of the Gungarlin River.
Keeping it delightfully simple, it's just me, my trusty swag, and the mesmerizing glow of a crackling campfire, all under the expansive canvas of a clear, star-studded sky. As always, indulging in delicious food and drink is an integral part of our journey. Join me as I brew a pot of delightful milk tea in the afternoon and savor succulent lamb skewers for dinner. And for breakfast? I whip up some mouthwatering ham, tomato, and cheese sandwiches using a classic jaffle iron.
But wait, there's more! Embark with me on an exhilarating hike to a nearby historic alpine hut - Davey's Hut. This charming timber hut holds a fascinating story waiting to be uncovered. Watch as we explore its secrets and delve into its intriguing history.

Awesome video! The Jimmy is a cute and capable car
Thanks for watching! Jimny never let us down.
A lovely video - the hut was interesting, and it looked like a very nice place to have a cup of tea. Beautiful region.
Thanks! Enjoying a cup of tea and having a little bit of thoughts on the story behind it, that was truly a leisure afternoon.
sometimes all you need is a swag and a fire 👌
Couldn't agree more. It's amazing how much joy and relaxation can come from just being surrounded by nature and the warmth of a campfire. Maybe it's in our DNA.
🌟 "Embarking on this solo camping journey felt like stepping into a dreamland! 🏞 The Gungarlin River Campground provided the perfect backdrop for a tranquil escape, and the video beautifully captures its serene atmosphere. ⛺ Setting up camp beneath the majestic eucalyptus trees was a picture-perfect moment, and the soothing sounds of the river added to the ambiance. 🔥 The scenes of brewing milk tea and savoring lamb skewers were not only mouthwatering but also highlighted the simple joys of outdoor dining. 🍵🍖 And who could resist those delicious jaffle iron sandwiches for breakfast? 🥪 The hike to Davey's Hut added an extra layer of adventure, uncovering the secrets of this historic gem. 🏔 Overall, this video is a captivating journey into the heart of nature, filled with breathtaking views and heartwarming moments. 🌿 It's a must-watch for anyone craving a taste of wilderness serenity and outdoor exploration!" 🎥

Just discovered your videos. Really like them. Wish we could get the Jimney here in Texas. Love your simple style of camping. Really peaceful. Could you add a list of your gear in the discription. I would like to get some of your items. Thanks again for making great videos.

Great review😍
Thank you! 🤗
I wanna go camping too, but I'm afraid ghost. lolzzz
Haha, I totally get you! 😄 Camping can feel a bit spooky at times, especially if your imagination starts running wild. But you know what? Camping under a full moon is actually pretty magical! 🌕It's so bright you can see everything around you clearly. Give it a try, and I bet you'll feel much more at ease! Happy camping, and don't let those ghostly thoughts get to you! 👻✨
I'm afraid ghost!!! lolzzz @@lanbolyra

Крутое кино 🤝🇮🇱

Awesome video mate, I love your camera angles and shooting style. What lens were you using for this video?
Thanks so much! Most shots are done by Canon R10 + 70-200mm f/2.8 and 50mm f/1.8, supplemented by Sony a7r3 + 24mm f/1.4. The 70-200mm gives beautiful bokeh, but it requires a lot of leg works to change filming angles, and it's quite heavy lol.
Thanks for the info ;)@@lanbolyra
Hahaha I can imagine you have to do a lot of walking around with those kinds of lenses. I currently use 2 prime lenses, a 20mm F/1.8 and 50mm F/1.8. It's pretty annoying having to swap them out constantly when shooting, so I'm looking into getting a 24-200mm F/4 or something similar. It's annoying that you have to sacrifice wide apertures with those zoom lenses though.
You bring up a great point! Swapping lenses in the field can definitely be a hassle, especially in bad weather conditions. But it's important to consider the trade-offs, particularly in terms of aperture. If you're shooting with an APS-C format camera, a 200mm focal length might indeed be too long for many situations. Instead, you might want to consider a standard zoom with a larger aperture, which can be more versatile for various shooting scenarios, including night shots, rainy days, or capturing moments inside your tent. Sigma and Tamron provide good alternatives. That's just my personal opinion~ @@RyanWorsman
Nice! Love the car. I am in Australia and eyeing the ivory one as well. Mind sharing how much you paid for it? Thanks! Subscribed
Thanks for watching. We bought it in 2023, and it was $37000 drive away. However, I believe the price has gone up a little bit.
I'm a new subscriber! Loved watching your video, but I'm surprised how you managed to sleep in that tiny tent cause i feel clastrophobic. Is that hut open for public access?? A bit creepy looking though! Are you a Japanese by origin - just curious the way you drank sake! Keep posting more videos bro! 🙏
Hey there, and welcome to the channel! 🎉 Thanks so much for subscribing and for your kind words. I totally get what you mean about feeling claustrophobic in a tiny tent - it can definitely take some getting used to! That tent is called swag here, and you'll spot them all over Australia. As for the hut itself, it's open to the public, just like many alpine huts here. But camping inside is a no-go unless it's an emergency situation. I'm actually Chinese, but I love exploring different cuisines and drinks from all around the globe. In our videos, we usually feature two different recipes, so stay tuned for more culinary adventures. Thanks again for joining us, and happy watching!
What brand is that swag?
Hi thanks for watching! It's a XTM single swag, bought from Anaconda.
is milk water😅
Probably I should have put all four extra-strong tea bags :D
Top 🇧🇷👏🇧🇷👏🇧🇷
Thank you so much!
