Great job and much appreciated information. I'm upgrading the controller, much the same as you did, on my very old, roll top door, Traeger BBQ 100. I assumed I would need to drill holes and mount the temperature probe, and your video confirmed for me. Thank you very much for showing me how, for certain, to install it.
Wow. Nice. Perfect. I have all my parts and I am doing this today. Glad to see its as easy as i thought amd i didnt know ill have to open the face plate hole more. Mine has the toggle for the itlgnighter so I'm not sure what I'll be doing about that. Surely there I just have to bypass the toggle. I imagine the new controller has a timer for igniting it
I do not have a part number. Found it on Amazon for sale from various sellers. All of these boards seem to be similar between models like traeger, pitboss, etc.

Thank you.. for your help 👍🤠
Did the original board not use a thermostat?
Unfortunelty no. This model is one of the first Traeger made and did not include a thermostat.
Do you have a part number for that kit??

Thanks for making this video. It helps a lot. 👍🏼
