Dallon actually helped write most of too weird. He did most of girls/girls/boys and a few others that I can't remember of the top of my head.

I haven't clicked on a video so fast in my life. Now let me put on my fangirl hat. This is a two man band, made up of Dallon Weekes (former bassist for Panic! at the Disco) and Ryan Seaman (former drummer of Falling in Reverse). They played together in Dallon's former band, The Brobecks, in the mid 00's. Dallon wanted to write his own music again, and he got Ryan on board to do the drums, and iDKHow was born (the name come from the movie Back to the Future). Choke is meant to be an anti-love letter to Los Angeles. He hated the whole "scene" and finally moved his family back to Salt Lake City. Do It All the Time was about how some stars in the industry will act any way they want to because they can without any real consequences. But I like your take on it, too.

@@choccy9852 I saw them live last year and it was fantastic! It was the opening night of the Content: East tour, and Dallon walked out in a Sparks tshirt and that cape. He was like a musical superhero. Didn't get to meet them, but I did meet Ryan's Dad, and that was awesome.
Their theme/vibe/thing is that they're an 80's band rediscovered today

IDKHOW that you see in the videos is a concept band supposedly existing in the late 70s and early 80s and their music has recently been rediscovered
IDKHOW’s RUclips channel has all of the videos that put this together
Their EP is what Dallon, the bassist, calls an anti-love letter to LA, it’s social realm and the industry as both are awful and toxic
They are very, very good live

day by day night by night I saw them in May, the tickets were given to me as birthday present - it was one of the best presents I’ve gotten. I brought a Choke shirt and my favourite part was the banter between Dallon and Ryan, and the audience participation.

One of my favorite songs of IDKHow is no one likes the opening band. Kinda cute and straight forward with its point but I like it, I like the sound and the end and very much the music video. It's pretty short though

the initial story of the band was that they were a band in the late 70s/80s that never got a break and now the tapes have been dug up. the singer/bassist dallon weekes said that the music is supposed to be a mix of 70s glam, 80s synthpop/new wave, and 90s grunge

9:15 the "triangle" on his forehead was his guitar pic. Dallon is known for licking his pic and sticking it on his forehead during any break in playing. he even did it back when he was in panic!
In case you're wondering, both members of the band came from pretty big bands previously. The music industry is something that they had a lot of anger with, and Dallon basically wrote a bunch about it. That's the main subject of their ep at least.
I just saw them at riptide last Sunday! I was in the front row and they were incredible!!! Before they left they were throwing some stuff off stage and I caught a paper that Ryan threw and it was their song lineup! I love this paper more than I love myself!!!

Watching these videos, and how much you understand through so little makes me realize how much I love and why I love all the artist and songs and shows you react to, like re-falling in love with something I was already head over heels for.
He's def like the best reaction channel, because not only does he cut up the video he's reacting to, but he adds alot to it instead of just sitting there and laughing every now and then or saying "wow" to justify a reupload

Here's a fact about IDKHOW that may help you out Dallon Weekes (who is the lead singer of the band) actually toured with Panic! at the Disco and worked on their album Too Weird To Live Too Rare To Die and Ryan Seaman (the drummer) used to be in the band Falling In Reverse. The first song that I've heard from them was Modern Day Cain which is so good reminds me of 80s Pop. Their name is a quote from Back To The Future.

Yess this is one of my favorite bands! My RUclips was recommended Modern Day Cain the entire day it was released and I gave up ignoring it and listened. I’ve been with this bamd from the beginning, and I’ve seen them each time they’ve come to my city. Ok sorry I just love this band and how I’ve gotten to see their songs released.
The first song of theirs I listened to was Nobody Likes The Opening Band, so I too have been with this bamd since the start
I found them by having a dallon obsession and looking them up on tumblr. Thats where I found Dallons secret project :0 then Modern Day Cain came out! I love them so soooo much to this very day 😍
i love that with no knowledge of the band, he still gets almost exactly what dallon is trying to say with his music. having background info of ryan and dallon definitely helps understand all of it, but it really shows how great they are doing with the lyrics and symbolism.

I have been getting recommendations to watch your videos, but hadn't because reaction videos rarely have any actual content to them. I love IDKHow so I watched this and I'm so glad I did. I love that you actually break down the songs and try to figure out what the artist is trying to get across. Do you research the bands at all before or during these videos? You were really spot on with a lot of stuff and some of the random jokes that were panic! or mormon related made me think you at least know about Dallon a bit? I'll definitely start watching your videos now.

I thought it was the POV of being on the outside looking in, but now I know it's from their experiences having been IN that industry.
