AKA: 3 Amigos - Dusty Bottoms: “Well, we really don’t have a plan B. We didn’t expect for the first plan to work. Sometimes you can overplan these things.”
Mike, now you have to make right by her. Oil Changes, cap rotor and spark plugs (and wires) and last but not least, wash buff and make her shine. Great video.
Great Video Mike, It’s Good Seeing You, Michael & Randy Wrenching Away On That Old Swedish Build Saab 900 Turbo, She Actually Sounded Good, Saab’s Always Been A Quirky, Interesting Vehicle, Hope You Gentlemen Get It Rolling, Give It Another Chance, Like The Volvo 850 Turbo Wagon.. You (Monkey Wrench Mike), Micheal (Santa’s Workshop), Randy (Auto Auction Rebuilds) Are Appreciated For Your Hard Work.. If Micheal Would Respectfully Allow It, Time Allowing, You Three Should Team Up To Help Micheal Get His ‘79 GMC El Caballero Back Together Again, As A Video Series (Hint) You Guys Are Amazing!!
Inspect the neutral safety switch. If the switch and housing is adjustable you might be able to move it so when the shift lever in in park it will allow the the engine to start without having to push up on the shift lever.
You lucked out on this one, Mike. I would change the oil and wipe the throttle body out with some brake cleaner on a rag before you drive to Tulsa. The fuses might be blown on the lights and a/c compressor, and that probably needs a charge. Check those tires. If they are that old, 2011, they may not make it there. You can probably find some serviceable used ones tomorrow for cheap.
BEST content in ages! I am a SAAB owner for many yeas - just not this vintage - 10/10 when the boys (Randy and Santa) come together to fix a gorgeous automobile from the days when cars were repairable! Thanks MWM happy driving...... or did it not make it back to the shop?
One of the most fulfilling videos ever! I enjoy most the videos in which you actually work on the vehicles and this was one of the best. Randy does so much in regards to locating, acquiring and reselling the cars that I sometimes forget his long experience as a technician. Santa’s no slouch when it come to mechanic’s skills as well. Mike, you may have one of your best $300 cars in this Saab. Not to take anything away from that gorgeous Benz wagon you recently bought. It’s a car that was beautifully maintained before it’s accident and it’s on it’s way to being beautiful once again. It was great watching the three of you take this abandoned Saab from sob story to driving around the block. I look forward to the next installment of “As the Saab Turns”! Peace my friends, DrRick
I had 6 of the 900's back in the day. The turbo convertibles and SPG's were wonderful cars. I bought a base 4 door 900 for my daughter. She named it trusty! Slower than mollases.
I loved this video it was very funny. Saab used to be a very expensive brand here in Europe. We called it a doctors car because most of the time docters used to drive it. Sadly Saab went bankrupt and they stopped producing cars. This model is going to be a classic Mike I would fix her up and she is gonna make you some money in the future I bet you.
I'd just like to say that, as much as I like the work both of you do, the greatest work you guys do is when you're together. These are my very favorite videos! Thanks for the laughs and for letting me into the joy of watching the Mike and Randy Show! Or is it the Randy and Mike Show? I don't want to cause friction that might break up the act! Add Santa to the mix and the only thing that could make this video better is if it was longer. Much longer.
I can't wait for more videos on the Saab! You 3 are great together and getting that running was pretty awesome. Always good to see another 900 back on the road. Love the videos Mike.👍
She sounds healthy and with just a little more TLC I say y'all did an amazing job together, I just turned 50 this past week 17th July and watching 3 friends bring a car back to life was like watching me and my Dad and his late brother working on cars. My Dad now has dementia and he is 76 and a Vietnam Veteran and he would always work on cars and sell them, watching you guys brought that memory of three friends working on a car and I just want to say thank you, Mike you're awesome sir, Randy looks funny with no hat but he's a flipping cool dude, and Santa is awesome and he knows it, and I couldn't help but laugh when the key would turn over, everyone would either back-up or just took off lol, I needed this laugh cause I haven't laughed in quite some time...thank you guys and keep on doing what you guys do, sending much love and thanks from Tampa, Florida...Will...P.S Now that ol girl is running I suggest u give her a bath and take her for a ride cause I do believe she want to dance lol..Cheers
Mikey, you should give a BIG credit to Randy cos he found the leak at 36:45 .... Love to see you guys working funny & relaxing together. Santa also gave a lot of help too and he deserves some credit as well !
Three Men and a Saab. Hollywood may be calling. Funny thing is that there is one small engine fire and now everyone has trust issues when Monkey Wrench Mike starts a car. Great video. thank you.
This was a fun time! I always enjoy wrenching with you guys!
@AutoAuctionRebuilds Thank you for the assist. I enjoy the collaboration videos and hope the views work out for all of you in some way.
Now you will have some time for your new Bel Air, congrats on that man!
I love it,if you work together so much fun❤
The 3 Amigos have done it again!!
AKA: 3 Amigos - Dusty Bottoms: “Well, we really don’t have a plan B. We didn’t expect for the first plan to work. Sometimes you can overplan these things.”
@@HerbOldenburgthe three stooges
lol 😂😂
Santa = Moe, Mike = Larry and Randy = Curly! LOL 😆 🤣 😂 😅.
Randy without a hat freaks me out, man.
Still, he's a very good looking man, he doesn't need that cap
He reminds me of someone without his had...
Yeah, he looks skinnier and younger without it. Weird.
Here for the Saab Saga. Won't miss a episode.
Thanks!!
I'm all Saab, all day, all night and these 900 videos are an absolute delight. Thank you! And let's swap that A/T for 5spd.
Wow! Randy without a hat. He looks 10 years younger.
yall i clicked like before i even started the video. former saab guy here, the battle is worth it
Mike, now you have to make right by her. Oil Changes, cap rotor and spark plugs (and wires) and last but not least, wash buff and make her shine. Great video.
The gas soaked rag was still the best 😂😂
You know the heavy duty work is happening when Randy’s hat comes off.
The Three Musketeers saving the Sweden princess 🤔🤣
Mike I am surprised any work gets done when you 3 get together so good always make me laugh😂😂😂
IKR - lolz
Laughing at Mike pumping the throttle when trying to crank an EFI engine .My daughter is "why are you yelling at the computer again?" LOL
Congrats Mike, Santa and Randy. You guys did great job troubleshooting and repairing the Saab 900 Turbo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really cool to see three friends getting together working on a project. Smiles all the way.
Mike, this SAAB is a good buy.
Keep going.
A nice Saab at least
Over the last year my 16 year old son and I have gotten a $500 86 900 Turbo back on the road, good times.
I have a 1991 SPG turbo that is near mint, even with 205,000 miles. They are wonderful cars. Oh, and quit pumping the gas on an EFI! 😅
Super pleased for you Mike, love a SAAB.
Never seen Randy without a hat before. He's got a good head of hair on him.

Great video Mike! I love to see you, Randy and Santa together. Please keep working on the Saab, I had one like it, they're weird and wonderful cars.
Deal!
Inspect the neutral safety switch. If the switch and housing is adjustable you might be able to move it so when the shift lever in in park it will allow the the engine to start without having to push up on the shift lever.
