Our mini Bernedoodle is 6 months old. I’ve had a few dogs in my life and this guy is one of a kind! We do have to watch him cause he loves to eat everything! I mean everything! But, we are learning things right along with him.
We just paid advance to purchase just born pure poodle with 25 Bermese mountain dog, so 755 poodle. They are expensive in Canada around C$3000 2 color mostly black and belly white, no brown as it's more expensive. We will give our input once we get it to our house in the new year.
We have a 4 month old mini Bernedoodle, Tucker! He is absolutely the goofiest, sweetest puppy ever. He wakes me each morning with a big hug and kisses!
We have a 75% Berner and 25% Poodle. Any info on these cuties? People always think she is Border Collie but the DNA confirms Bernedoodle. We've had her almost 4 months. (got her at 2 months weighing 8 lbs) My God the first 3 months we had her were so intense with her high energy and nonstop behaviors! Yes, guess you could read that as stubborn. I really thought we made a big mistake getting her. I called in trainers but still the chewing and the not understanding potty is outside not inside were horrific. Good thing she was so very very very cute! You really couldn't hold and cuddle/pet her with out her wriggling out and chewing your hair, hands, buttons on your clothes, the hem of your pants, etc etc. Every sweatshirt I had was full of rips from those razor teeth! The chewing finally subsided at 5.5 months when she cut a lot a teeth. The garbage can is still up on the counter, and the shoes are behind a cage, and every little bead, twist tie, coin or plastic bag is out of her reach. She is very smart and learns a new training technique within 3 tries. Then, she turns her head and wont do it an more. Until she wants to. But she is calming down a bit now. at 6 months and 42 pounds she cuddles on my lap! and we do belly rubs, and ear scratches, and I play with her paws. The way she looks up to me and we stare at each other is priceless! The work we put in the first three months we had her seem to be paying off. Just gotta keep training, training, training. And at 6 months now... she kinda get that you pee/poop outside.
My mom has a bernedoodle. Shes a litteral fur baby. All she wants is attention and to play. Plus on top of that, whenever i sleep over, my moms dog always sits near by door and wants to lay by my legs.
We have 2, brother and sister from same litter, they are both completely different in many ways, but they are exactly as described, Goofy, stubborn and loyal. We still want one more, there is a little space left on the bed at night.
10 months old! Weight could be on higher ends for standard size. Loves 70 degree F temps or lower with normal coat on, before hair cut/shave. Super needy but super cute!
My Meliodas is a Bernies Golden Doodle Service Dog in training. He choose me and I'm truly greatful from the litter. A Bernies Doodle helps with coordination balance and can alert to medical condition. Yet you have not brought that up why?! They are a top recommended breed for women with Post and those with Medical Condition who have balance and coordination issues. The Organization I go through recommended thos breed for that reason, along with my personality and lifestyle. The breeder I went through has had her Berna Doodle puppies certified to go on be a Service Dog in many areas. Such as Autistic Service Dog, Medical Alert Service Dog, PTSD Service Dog her Bernies Golden Lab Doodle Mix can live up to 23-25 years.
How do they handle warm weather? I know Bernese Mountain Dogs do not handle it well, and prefer the cold. I'm in San Diego. It stays in the mid to high 80's and it's somewhat humid in the summer. Love your videos. Many thanks.
I have a mini Bernie that's 5 months old in NC- the eastern hot swampy part. He seems to prefer about 70 degrees and cooler. He will often lay down to cool off when other puppies are still playing. I keep plenty of cool water for him and let him self regulate. He's definitely a goofy, stubborn, velcro, high energy dog. Best friend ever!
I just found out that there is this kind of super adorable breed of dog after i watch Dogs Wiz. Thanks a lot for sharing. See Lala and Lily videos if you love funny toy poodle & mini schnauzer.
Hey guys! I was wondering were I could get one? I’m actually looking into getting one but don’t KNOW we’re too can you guys give me some links to places or if YOUR having a litter!
San Diego does not "stay" anywhere near mid to high 80's. Yes, that would be 4 or so weeks a year. Google average San Diego temperatures. And of course it is cooler along the coast.
A berner should not be mixed with something so ugly. I find it quite depressing the way all these oodle breeds are taking over. Gone is the real beauty and essence of a berner/lab/retriever etc.
all dogs are mixed if they were not they'd still look like wolves. Berner breed is a horrible one for lifespan living only up to 8 years. Somehow mixing them with poodles brings that to 12-15 years. Reason why poodles are mixed a lot is due to their health and intelligence.

Day 2 she's 12 weeks. Love every single thing about her.
the reason i would prefer it first is that they live much longer from bernese mountain and the secong that they do not lose hair...beautiful dogs
I got a miniature bernedoodle he's 10 weeks old now . Got him a few day ago from a Amish family. He has such short legs. I can make videos of him

That would probably be dangerous weather conditions for this breed, hope this isn’t too late!

Why do people love mixing various breed of dogs with the poodle
It doesn't shed much
