I had no idea Selma had MS until I watched this episode. Kind of made me tear up watching her be so brave and open about the effects of MS. I don't have MS myself but i grew up with a parent that was diagnosed early in my childhood and have seen the absolutely devastating effects MS brings in the one diagnosed and the ones closest being affected by it as well. And then seeing Tim discuss about his challenges surviving and persevering and overcoming his debilitation as well. Both Selma and Tim are people who embody the essence of true beauty and strength and inspiration.

I cried watching Selma. She’s so inspiring. She has overcome so much with the most beautiful constitution. 💕 I loved her talking about how she felt about herself and not having purpose. I have struggled with the same all my life, and it helps to hear amazing and inspiring people relate and normalize these feelings of self doubt.

    This is for Timothy,
    First comment ever on RUclips.
    You’re a true gentleman.
I am with out words at this point. Just finished binge watching psych last night. I new about your stroke and had to hide it from my fiancée until after the show. I watched this podcast just now and after neck surgery in April and lower spine surgery in July I just have one observation, thank you.
At 60 years old and a huge fan of smart TV show, you inspire me. Yes, you performed amazingly in psych. But, you’re a better person. I was crushed when I heard about the stroke and was apprehensive about listening to the podcast.
But I am inspired by your recovery. Stay YOU! Be your best. Hollywood needs actors like you. Funny, strong, stubborn? Narrow minded (in character). I feel better now than did prior to listening to this.
    Thanks , just thanks!

I was absolutely devastated when I heard Timothy had a stroke. I love Psych, and had met him dozens of times & he was always all class. I was asking Steve Franks almost every time I saw him during that 1st Psych movie how was Tim doing, because I sincerely hoping he was doing well. Had the fortunate luck to meet Timothy again when he was here for Psych 2. Seeing him on here, he seems to be doing much better now than even then. Great chat. Thanks Michael for having him, as well as James & Dule on.
Also, was really nice seeing Selma Blair on at the beginning.

Selma Blair is so beautiful and inspirational. I've been dealing with severe Crohn's Disase for 18 years, and believe me, the stress is a killer. Countless operations and biologic treatments etc., financial worries and never knowing if you're going to be in pain or not will drive you insane. I used to watch Timothy on Psych, and he was so funny and so good. I wish him a full recovery. Being ill is so hard. Bless all of you!

The intro with Selma almost made me tear up, I started thinking about the fact that she has a kid and how different things are for her but as she continued talking you just see her strength and that was beautiful, I didn't feel sad anymore. And with Timothy, he is a miracle case. My mom had a stroke, it wasn't too bad but she got diagnosed with a heart condition, one of my aunts had a stroke similarly to Timothy's and she could not walk or talk well, it took a few therapy sessions for her to again but she still can't move her left hand, I think well. One of my uncle's had one, the same way under different circumstances but nevertheless, it's scary that this or anything can hit you just like that.

When Selma was on,…I just started weeping. Not because I feel “sorry for” her, but because with her struggles, having had two strokes in the past year, I felt like I was watching a mirror image of myself. In that, this is what others see when they interact with me. I hadn’t consciously seen (faced) that before now. But like she said, with tons of P.T., O.T., & prayer, “this too shall pass”. And yes, it will only be to an extent, but will pass none the less. So thank you Selma for having the courage and strength to do this ❤️

I knew about his stroke, of course, I've been a huge fan of his for years, but I didn't know it was caused by overdoing it working out. That was interesting and terrifying to me. This really is an amazing ep and I really appreciate how raw and real this interview is. I had a stroke in 2019. I was very blessed. I never lost my verbal, language, muscle strength, and my face never drooped. I lost vision on my left side of my left eye. My vision has mostly returned. I am left with a slight vision deficit in my lower left quadrant. I was back to work in three weeks. I watch my blood pressure and salt intake. And absolutely no caffeine.

Thank you, Michael! As a big SPN fan, I know him as Cain. He was really creepy there, I love his acting. Very dark character he played. ☺

Did not know both Selma and Timothy went and are going through this. After listening to this episode earlier at work, I have all the more admiration for them.

Amazing podcast as always! Tim is a true warrior and inspiration and it's amazing watching his journey.
    And Selma, I don't have words. Awe-inspiring.
If you're taking requests, I think an in-depth interview like this with Elliot Page would be absolutely amazing right now.

Tim deserves a huge role to help him out. I've only ever known him as Lassie and Cain. He is a wonderful actor and Rosie, you nailed another excellent interview.

I LOVE THIS MAN SO MUCH! 🥰 He was great in Psych, brilliant in Supernatural, and nothing short of a legend in Galavant. 👑 Looking forward to see him recovering further, and still haven't given up hope on a follow-up movie to Galavant, I just really want to see what happens with Tad Cooper. 😅🦎

Don't really know Timothy Omundson, but I'm looking forward to learning about him. These episodes are the ones I always find so fascinating when I don't know much about the guest. I know I have said that to you before and probably more than once 😂😂😂
Keep up the awesome work Rosey.
Thank you for all you do.

I have degenerative disc disease (DDD) in my cervical spine (c-spine), which causes a phenomenon known as cervicogenic headaches. Some of these headaches are so bad that it affects my vision and if I try to stand... well... I won't be standing, for long. After hearing Mr. Omundson's account of having the "worst headache he's ever had", it frightens me. With the knock-me-off-my-feet headaches I get, at what point do I pack it up and say, "Welp... time to go in and get looked at"? Glad to see that he is doing better. Best wishes for continued good health, to him. And Ms. Blair... what a testament of strength and inspiration. Great show, this one. It served as a surprising source of inspiration.
