Haven't hit book seven yet but I know about the large jump in time, so understand the decision to end it at 6 series at least for now. Expanse is top 3 sci-fi personally - it's almost universally great.
Underrated? You’re obviously not a sci-fi junkie. Sci-if people have been all over this show. It’s actually so popular that normal every day TV watchers are tuning in because of the raving reviews. Maybe it’s underrrated because you haven’t seen it up until recently but it’s definitely only underrated to you. See this whole pandemic thing made people desperate to watch something. Once you start the very first episode you can’t stop watching if you’re a true science-fiction fan.

The actual sets, costumes, and props are f'ing incredible on this series, the CG is fantastic too but there are a ton of physical, highly detailed sets they built for real
An incredible series with great actors. Waiting for this exciting and well made series to resurface or a great Sci-fi movie. The books are wonderful to read too.
Yes more please! Expanse reminds me of the first time I saw Star wars and everything was old and used. ir Real looking. With a history but also an actual purpose. mostly.
I really don't like that in season 5, it was turned into a CGI cartoon. It's hard for me to watch. Characters don't look right. Don't know if I can finish it now.
The Expanse is so underrated; I really hope it grows so that we get a chance to see all 9 books bought to the screen

yeah, took me till my 2nd viewing to realize "oh wait that has to be VFX blood. wait.. THAT was a special effect?! daaaaaaaamn"
