I will never get tired of saying that one thing that made Nmixx live performances super satisfying is how they actually made us appreciate all the adlibs, harmonies & even notes changing. As someone who had been in kpop fandom for almost 15 years, I dare say it really sets them apart from other performance focused idol groups because they're actually really good at all vocal+dance+performances. Those crazy adlibs & harmonies by them at the end says everything honestly.

4:58 haewon pretty much growled that "run for roses" and it's amazing. love that she's been playing around with modulating her voice more during singing this comeback. she also sounds totally different when she does the "i wanna run some more" at the end of dash
Haewon is a vocal chameleon -- while she has her own unique tone/color, she can make her singing sound like Lily or Jiwoo or really any type she wants. We also hear it in her livestreams since her real speaking voice is super deep for a girl but she can do the high cute _aegyo_ voice (and hates it lol) She is the only girl to have ever bested Lily during a trainee evaluation and it's because of her versatility
They know they're good. You can feel their confidence. It's not arrogance in any way, they just know they were born to that and that's why they hit different.
Y'know Lily was asked about that by Lee Mujin when she went on his show and that's pretty much what she said -- she knows she's good but she also thinks there are areas she can improve (this is true, her lows are weak compared to Haewon). Not sure if it's JYP's hyper-focus on character or the fact that they're only just now starting to win stuff, or both, but the whole group is so down-to-earth. And yes they LOVE to sing -- it's more than just a job for them.

It was an absolute delight... It is so good when they don't force the girls to use high-pitched voices "all day long"... Low-mid voices, people... That's where the magic happens...
The downside of liking NMIXX is that the normal stage just doesn't do it for me anymore. Please give us more live and improvised performances, that's what makes NMIXX the best!
So, after listening to this at least 20 times I realise a few things. When we listen to the albums the songs are tuned down to allow Nmixx to perform while dancing. When they sing without dancing they can unleash their true vocal potential, and my word they are insane. That's why so many of us enjoy the live performances more, it's like the song makes more sense and comes together.
if they continue to overshadow the original sound source like this, play around with the notes and other minute details during their live performances while nailing every bit of it, then the day is not far when they fill up stadiums with ease. And, I truly believe that to become reality. Because NMIXX keeps growing in skills, charm as well as in their dedication to being artists who care about their work and most importantly the love towards their fans. ✨✨✨
On the one hand, it would be cool to see them fill stadiums -- and I think they can get there, having one native plus two proficient English speakers doesn't hurt. However, stadiums are terrible for music performances on both ends -- I'd bet they'd prefer proper concert halls for the intimacy and better sound. NMIXX aren't Twice (who I also love); they don't need cool gimmicks (except maybe a live band like Twice got last year) to put on a great show.

저기.. 지나친 객석의 괴성은 좀 자제좀..잘듣다가 재빠르게 소리줄이거나 정지버튼 누르게 됨. 일부러 넣는거 굉장히 안좋은 아이디어인듯. 섬세함으로 귀를 기울이라면서 듣기힘든 괴성까지 듣게 하는건 고역임
