    1. MY BEST HEALING PRODUCTS for the first 6 weeks:
    Sitz bath: amzn.to/3ukVf7h
    Dermaplast: amzn.to/3b2hbwi
    Fridamom Undies: amzn.to/3ejxDKy
    Best Pads: amzn.to/2Rjf1Bn
Forgot to mention Peri Bottle (but I used mine from the hospital)
    2. Mattress Protector: amzn.to/33cfJ6j
    3. Diaper Station Baskets: go.magik.ly/ml/17311/
    4. Take any and all classes BEFORE the baby is here.
I recommend and used Happy Healthy Eaters for BLW (coupon codes in bottom of description) and Taking Cara Babies for sleep.
    5. Legendairy Milk's Lactation Pills: amzn.to/3eh8KiE
    6. GO MARCO Bars or Healthy Snacks: amzn.to/33hDwBL
    7. OUTFITS: Don't splurge on a new wardrobe for your ever changing postpartum body, BUT do get some COMFY clothes to wear.
I suggest robes, Oversized Tees, and skip those nursing bras.
I would suggest lightweight delivery robes from Pink Blush Maternity & winter/warmer robes from Skims Cozy collection. I'm sure Amazon has great options too!
I love Neiwai for comfy second skin bras and low rise underwear.
I love the everybody fits line from Skims for high rise undies.
I love Free People's happiness runs tanks for easy breastfeeding tops.
I love Aerie's ribbed bras for my Elvie pump and everyday wear.
I love Urban Outfitters Kya sweatpants for everything lol...I have collected them in 5 colors over the past 10 months. I also love their oversized sweatshirts and t-shirts.
I personally never wore my belly bandit for more than 2 days, and I felt like I wasted my money there, and on spanx. Maybe other people love stuff like this for their postpartum journey, but it most certainly wasn't a must have like I thought it was going to be!
    8. BEST GIFT FOR NEW MOMS: FOOOD & FOOD GIFT CARDS
    9. Join all the Mama FB groups.
Snoo Mamas is a great start point (mostly product reviews/suggestions).
Legendairy Milk also has a great one for breastfeeding mamas
    10. You can't pour from a cup that is empty.
Sometimes you may have to do what "feels selfish" to be selfless.

So a definite mommy must have that I still use 21 months postpartum is “Boobie Latte” by milksta. It’s a vegan, dairy free decaffeinated coffee drink to boost your milk supply/maintain a healthy one. Omg it’s amazing! If you don’t want to drink coffee because of the effects caffeine might have on your little one and you want a healthy milk supply; you need this lol. Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy late mother's day! A mommy must have a friend, a mate, a human to talk about feelings, fears, and to hear that she's not alone and doing it great. I think this is the most needed must have for a mom 🤎

YES to the food delivery gift cards! Every time a friend or family member has a baby now, I text them a $50 gift card while they’re still in the hospital. It’s the best thing in the world as new parents!

7 months postpartum and I tell my now pregnant friends the always diapers for the first few days of heavy bleeding saved me and was way easier to slip on and off instead of dealing with a pad and underwear, however, I then used the Frida mom underwear with the pads once it got lighter. The Frida mom underwear is so comfy!

I agree with so much of this list! Sweatpants and soft fabrics are essential, as is any meal you don't have to cook. I also recommend investing in hair and shower products that you love so when shower time is the only "me" time you get, it feels more spa-like and truly like self-care.

this is GENIUS!!! I have to say I as a new mom as well, have a diaper station in EVERY room too! The macro bars are brilliant! Especially when you’re so busy doing other things that by the time you “sit” down... it’s almost like I am fasting (but not on purpose!). I think I’m going to add bars to my list! I was so bare boned and minimalistic with my little one, completely unintentional 😂 I was sooo sick and in pain after a horrible c-section experience, for the first 6 months I don't remember "needing" anything besides my belly wrap to hold me together, my woven wrap carrier because I was too tired and weak to hold onto my chunky baby, and lots and lots of tylenol 😅💛 so thankful that postpartum stage is finally done with and I can finally enjoy being a mama

I also live in an apartment in LA and the fire alarms are CONSTANTLY going off omg it's soo frustrating! They go off whenever someone in the building is cooking something smoky and they open their front door to let out the smoke.. and that triggers the alarm for the whole building 🙄 and they are so loud they hurt my ears, I cannot imagine having to deal with these fire alarms with a baby, my heart goes out to you!

2 months Postpartum this week... LOVED this video, and very much agree with the list, ESPECIALLY SNACKS! Put👏Snacks👏EVERYWHERE👏 snacks by the bed. Snacks in the living room. Snacks in the nursery. For me I always find myself getting hungry or thirsty when I'm mid-breastfeeding (aka the most inconvenient time to go to the kitchen). Having snacks within reach no matter where you are is SO helpful. Also HUGE water bottle! Great video, thanks for sharing!❤️

The absolute most accurate list if must haves I have seen . While I myself d idnt necessarily go by this to a t it's very fitting and honest. Although my first 2 months was literally comfy bra and adult diapers lol it was July it was hotter than hot here and didntbwanna freeze baby with the ac on high. I had issues with my supply, due to pumping and not latching and I researched everything lactation. I made the cookies, brownies, bites, aye oatmeal twice a day, drank so do so much water, talked to multiple lactation experts and the 2 things that made the most difference was the sunflower lecithin and the body armour drinks. Nothing else quite did it like these 2. Keep up the great videos

Peri bottle with camomile and black tea to help cleaning and healing was the best advice I got from my midwife. Also nipple cream and nipple shield were very necessary for me. But my midwife also suggested to put cold quark (yes it is a type of yogurt/cheese) on my nipples to help heal them as I was bleeding. Oh my! It sounds silly but my mind was blown how helpful it was.

Im still only 2 weeks post-partum but one thing thats been a life saver for me was having a large bottle of alcohol free witch hazel! I drench my pads in that and squirt some down there using a spray bottle, it made a world of difference and lasts longer than those tucks pads. The tucks pads dried out way too fast on their own and like you mentioned, they dry out and stick to me or give me a wedgie and it was just not comfortable! After i used them all up i exclusively used the witch hazel on my pads and in a spray bottle for spraying directly down there and it worked better in my opinion, definitely worth it 👌

Breastfeed on demand without exception will keep your milk supply up. It takes just one time a meal is skipped to down regulate and start a snowball effect of problems.

My top item that I would not have survived without was a pack n play. Background- I had a third degree tear and was not able to do anything without being in excruciating pain. Sitting down was a two person job, laying down was painful, and walking was an event. I would not have survived without having a pack n play set up in our living room. It is set up with a changing table station so I could stand and change the baby, and she could sleep in it as a crib when I either felt more comfortable sitting in our comfy arm chair on ice packs, or when I wanted to try to take a nap without newborn grunting noises next to me and have my husband watch her in the living room. I also end up have her take most of her naps in that so I can do things like cook or fold laundry nearby and keep my eye on her. It is definitely worth it to have a baby station like this set up in your living area. Side note: Use the peri bottle to rehydrate the tucks pads when removing them. Also, I preferred having both the hospital peri bottle for squirting when peeing, and I bought the frida mom peri bottle and used that to give everything a rinse afterwards since it has better reach. It was super helpful to have both so you don’t have to refill part way through going to the bathroom.

Omg i completely agree that having both peri bottles was a necessity for me, i also had really bad tears and so many stitches, it was impossible for me to be comfortable in any position, i wish i had gotten a pack and play for downstairs becauselike you said, just shifting positions was a while ordeal, much less doing things for the baby. Having both peri bottles helped not having to fill the bottle back up while trying to use the toilet. I used the hospital one while i peed and the frida mom peri bottle after to rinse off and refresh, i couldn't have survived without both. Another thing that was a life saver for me was having a large bottle of alcohol free witch hazel, i would drench my pads in that and squirt some down there when it was really bad, it made a world of difference and lasted longer than those tucks pads, they dried out way to fast on their own.

My massive advice is go for walks ! Get fresh air don’t sit inside all day everyday with a baby , it’s definitely a mood changed just walking going got a coffee etc , put that makeup on wash your hair do things that make you feel better even if at the time you cba you will feel better ( if you do that etc ) don’t think you have to change yourself completely just because your a mum :) , this is coming from a mum of 3 young kids x

My mama must have is burp cloths! I know that seems like a no brainer but in that diaper caddy (I also have in every room of my house 🤣) add burp cloths! I found the cloud island ones are easy to roll up and have. Spit it up is random and real hahah my son is 8 months and so times has an accidental spit up. But in the begging it’s helpful with to much let down spray (breastfeeding) and spit up.

I feel that I'm the odd woman out on this, but I HATED the dermoplast spray. Every time I sprayed it on it felt like I had just lit myself on fire. But to be fair, it made the pain I was experiencing from my third degree tear feel less terrible by comparison. Haha

It felt that way for me too! 4th degree tear. I kinda wonder if the tear is very swollen dermaplast spray must be a bad idea.

My absolute must have was small wash cloths (cheap terry cloth ones) from Ikea. I have a really strong milk flow and needed something to catch it with when baby let go of the breast. And I could fold them up and put them in my bra when I didn't have a pad.

I hated the tucks pads because they had the opposite effect for me! They were soaking wet and stayed soaking wet so it was like sitting in a wet pad the whole time🥴 That’s so crazy!
My absolute postpartum must have is the Frida mom disposable underwear. They made the gigantic hospital pads stay in place and I felt like I could actually move around better
