This was my dream bike since it came out. Finally, a friend convinced me to get it, and riding it is exhilarating-- got her in 2023. Carbon Fiber bodywork, titanium valves, and connecting rods. Brembo front brakes. Thanks for the cool video! Wants to scream and scream with great low-mid-range torque as well! Suspension is amazing. Very agile and lightweight. It's the best-looking sport bike out there for sure!! Low center of gravity and great handling. I sit in the garage and stare at it, it's so beautiful. A mechanical work of art.
I’ve ridden the HP2 a couple of times in Scotland and it’s brilliant. The Telelever front end is amazing. It rides the bumps so well. Looking forward to see more content with the HP2.
I’ve been looking forward to this video for a while, thank you Bill! I still miss that exhaust sound on your Racer but I guess if the HP2 was any louder it would attract the Strong Arm of the Law even more ! 🇬🇧🏍
Ok hold on a sec, I'm an R bike fanatic that owns a 2009 HP2 Sport and it's my main ride and has been for the past 5 years. Question, are you sure your 2010 has "traction control". I'm pretty sure that was not an option in 2010, it definitely wasn't for the 2009 model year. Also, those are carbon fiber valve covers, not titanium...just sayin'. I did learn something from the video. I had no idea the warm up lights function as rev/rev limiter lights in "race" mode so thanks for that!
yeah hi was a bit wrong abs yes but Traktioncontrol no not at all the first bmw with TC was the S1RR the first quickshifter in the hp2s, i want to buy a hp2s as soon as i can sell my 1250GS ^^ then i will have all three hp2 bikes
Nope. They are about the same weight (219kg), but the hp2 has more hp (130) and more torque. Also don’t forget that besides being the same weight, the hp2 is a race bike modified for the road so it can take part in races. So the r ninet does not stand a chance. Anyway, both bikes are amazing and I would like to get an r9t to go along with my hp2!

Thanks bill for the hp2 vid. I was waiting for it since the livestream yesterday!
As an ex BMW R1100S owner this is my dream BMW motorcycle.
My R1100S has 108k miles and still going! I too would love to have one of these to play with. Nice video.

Can the r ninet racer keep up with that HP2?

@@gamingradius8057 Thanks! I wish that BMW put out some to compete with the Panigale V2 or at least keep up with the Supersport.
@@wrxguyusa yea true i sometimes wish they made a 600cc. But it seams like bmw make only 1000cc and 300cc 😂
@@gamingradius8057 HP2S is over 20kg lighter.
@@miskammon true! my bad. Seems as something i should know as i have an hp2 sport😂😂
it's stunning, I'm surprised BMW used shaft drive on a sport bike
Very unique choice.
Never seen that bike before super cool :)
