      @@timelesstravelclub6240 I missed Merced. From birth to the age of 9, I lived in a different place every year. Mered, I lived for 9 years. It was the first place I had friends for more than one year. I still bounce around but once in a while when I feel nostalgic, I wonder how Merced is doing. I still have a lot of family members there. It's not the same place when I left. It's grown and Castle AFB is gone. No B52's or KC135 flying but It's great to see your posts. Thanks for being creative and giving me a glimpse of the ole stomping ground!

      Tony Gonzales I have to say, the old town is slowly picking herself up again. The Tioga building reconstruction is looking great and a popular brewery from Fresno is moving in.

    Excuse me by my interruption Sr. I would like to add a personal comment to your excelent video. The only thing that matters for me to choose a beach destiny for vacations Is the weather, specially humidity, i cannot stand much humidity. I hope your sad accident about your camera at Puerto Vallarta have had solution already.

    • @timelesstravelclub6240
      @timelesstravelclub6240  4 года назад +1

      Gustavo Pérez Hola Gustavo - It is no interruption at all. I agree, the humidity plays an important role when scheduling a beach trip to Mexico. This is something I should probably address in a future video. Thank you for that advice. As for my camera solution? No. It has not been replaced yet. 😩
      Thank you for watching, Gustavo.

    I vastly preferred Zihuat over it ixtapa when we were there in 1990s. Maybe changed since then but ixtapa was new high rise hotels and new development. Zihuat still felt like a fishing village. As another posted, I prefer PV over ixtapa.

    My vote is for Z. I live in a city and the last place I want to be on vacation is in some tower. Plus - resorts are so generic - you could be anywhere. Anyway, thanks for this video - I am always looking for somewhere new to explore on the Pacific Coast. And congrats on your 1 year anniversary!

    • @timelesstravelclub6240
      @timelesstravelclub6240  4 года назад

      Same here Dan. The only resort type hotel that I enjoy is while I'm in Acapulco. And that is only because many of my friends gather there each year. Otherwise, I enjoy old town anywhere in Mexico.

    I really enjoy watching your videos, we have heard about a ocean view trail that is by condominios Finestre in Ixtapa. Do you know if that is a trail that can be used by the public?

    Would you recommend ixtapa for a family vacation for my husband, 16 year old daughter, Brother and sister-in-law and five-year-old niece? I’ve only been there once when I was 25 with my mom😊

    • @timelesstravelclub6240

      Hi Sunny, Personally I prefer Puerto Vallarta over Ixtapa but if you have a sentimental attachment for Ixtapa it is well suited for everyone you mentioned. Be sure to consider the sister city of Zihuatanejo as well.
