“I already have a couple of full time jobs”. LMAO-literally! You kill me Mike. I love your humor. Erin, your gardens are so beautiful from the aerial shot. Looks like the cover of a gardening book or farm to table cookbook. You are such an inspiration for me. Those were excellent words of wisdom, to start slow so you don’t get overwhelmed. But it’s difficult when there are so many things you want to do lol. Thanks guys and have a great day!
Great video guys....so much hard work and education for us all.....very kind of you to take us along the journey of farmer's market life....wonderful video! Thanks Mike and Erin!
i dont mean to be off topic but does anyone know a method to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid lost the account password. I would appreciate any help you can give me.
@Nicolas Abraham i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
"Rolliin' rollin' rollin', keep them doggies rollin', rawhide. Wind and rain and water, we'll all stay together, keeping them doggies by our side..." Every time I watch your channel, I can't help but start singing this... Wow, quite amazing! I wondered how y'all (aka, you's guys) grew stuff up there in cold Wyoming! Vinyl house, eh? Stands up to winds too, impressive. You know Mike, you gave a good description of farm/ranch life. It's really about the ranch. Keeping it going and providing food for people. Of course, I should have know that, but you describe it great for a city slicker like me. Born and raised in the city, I was. But coming from an old fashioned farming family, I think it's in my blood!
Mike and Erin, Congrats on another successful gardening season! Something to be proud of!! I've got seven inches of fresh, wet snow this am. Hoping for a little Indian Summer around the corner!
You have great hearts, bursting with goodness. Happy to see all that hard labour reaps rewards for you and that you don't forget the needy. Great to be here and thanks for sharing. Wyoming looks so different to how it was portrayed on TV back in the day but I'm so excited to travel the ranges from the other side of the planet.
Wow so impressed with you guys, Erin and Mike I am so jealous of your sustained energy level, you must have the EVERREADY SYNDROME. Really enjoyed this video, but heck I enjoy ALL of them. I wouldn't miss a single one.
What a fantastic video Mike some real heartwarming sentiments and the closeness of the farmers and the town is so evident please keep it up and I look forward to another year of watching your videos...God bless you Erin and the kids and a thought to all the people that you support and the people who support you.....
I love the farmers market videos! Along with videos of the animals and such. Seeing the farm market videos inspire me to want to do farmers market even more. Your displays are beautiful. Look forward to more from Our Wyoming life.
Erin, congratulations on your success. You are smart to grow your business via controlled growth. Growth is really important, but keeping your business from falling into chaos keeps you focused and makes it rewarding at the end of the day. I look forward to seeing more videos on your success!
I will be missing your farmers market videos too. Erin the veggies, baked goods and everything looks so delicious. When we were younger we did craft shows and I know that feeling of it being over for a while, but like planting a garden by spring your ready to get back to it.
Hi again! Congratulations Mike and Erin on a beautiful growing season and all that you do to make it happen for not only for the ranch but for your community! Absolutely beautiful produce Erin but your baked goods and other treats looked delicious. Can't forget the mouth watering meats you raise Mike! You surely deserve a break Erin and I know Mike does too. So I'm thinking my idea of a mini vacation in the 90 weather of the hightower in the depths of your Wyoming winter sounds pretty fantastic! Kicking back in all that fresh oxygen with some refreshments and treats sounds perfect on a cold snowy winters day. Saw you got your snow already and it's there to stay s o I hope you all have a safe not so tough one. Thx as always for making and sharing such really nice vids and all the info that is included. Til next time...
I love that you guys are always looking to, and learning to, improve your lives in all aspects of it! So many people(including myself.....) are quick to settle, when they get the point of surviving decently. It's quite awesome to see y'all going after everything, it's very inspiring!
Great Farmers Market season - Congratulations to your family and to all the other vendors for their hard work and dedication. Great content in this video. Thank you.
Awesome video guys! You guys are such hard workers. That is one beautiful garden! Thanks for taking us along to the farmers market finale! Thanks Erin & Mike!
Great video, as always! I'm always interested to see other Farmer's Markets and how they run. Glad you had a good season! I really love how you guys never lose focus on "The Ranch" and it's importance, history and your heritage. Bravo! Oh yeah, I'm sitting here in Alabama watching this in shorts, t shirt and flip flops.....:)
Speaking as someone that is on staff for north of 10 conventions and running a department or 2 at 3. The number of hours that goes into a event are unimaginable. With all the blood sweat, tears and sometimes very colorful words are all worth it when you see all the happy faces.
Mike n Erin thank you very much for all the hard work u put in both on the ranch n the Farmers Market. Wish I was closer to enjoy it myself. Cinnamon rolls looked good by the way.
A very honest presentation of what happens on the ranch. You are so right about the fluctuation of cattle prices and the impact it has on a ranch income. We hope you continue to persevere and grow at the farmers market. Thank you.
You guys have one heck of a deal going on there! Very impressive. Thanks for the awesome video as usual, and I look forward to seeing more. All the best from the Denny's!
Erin, what an awesome job on the farmers market portion. You have some amazing looking food to sell. So glad that you help with WIC since these people need good food but usually can't afford it. God bless you and your family. Hope everyone is doing well and I wish you all a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Ahh that white stuff I just swept off the stairs this morning, again! You and Erin are very fortunate to have your farmer's market outlet, perhaps not so much for the income stream, but for the more important community aspect of life on a family farm Mike! Hope the weather tempers a bit to make sorting a little easier, give Erin a bit of a garden break, and grow your family farm in Wyoming just a little bit too. -Bob ...
I know the feeling you have of the season coming to an end and winter coming. It makes you realize that you have a short time to do a long list. I just planted some more hay ground yesterday, a month later than I wanted to.

Awesome video! There is nothing like fresh and local grown meat and produce! It tastes so much better and it feels good to support our local farmers and ranchers. We live in Cody, Wy and try to get to our farmers market every week. Will have to try and get over to Gillette when market starts back up.
You folks have grown the market business, and more importantly, the goodness through hard work and dedication. Your kids are lucky to have such good examples! Best wishes from Ohio!

This was a fun video to watch and you provided some great information about what it takes to be successful at the farmers market. One of the big pluses of the farmers market is that it can be an excellent pathway for a beginning farmer/rancher. I was lucky to be invited to set up a stand at a large and very popular market a few years back in Anchorage Ak. We had amazing success and usually sold everything we brought with us that day. Every week it was not uncommon to get into a lengthy conversation with a young adult with questions about how to get into gardening, micro-farming, selling locally, soil, organics etc etc. But just like you pointed out, there are no free ride or short cuts and I am always happy when the snow comes and I can take a break. haha
Oh my Erin is a amazing baker they all look so yummy it sad to alot of people I want to see some snow already you guy produce alot of amazing produce you are a much better grower than we are
I just found your channel today, but in watching several of your videos, I have to say I really, really like your content. What especially hit home are the farmers market ones. My wife and I started selling at our local farmers market this year. We had no expectations, but have been amazed at how well we have done. My wife does baked goods also, and sold over 100 peach and wild blackberry cobblers, along with many others offerings. We live in a very small town with only about 5 vendors at our market so we thought that was really good. Our biggest draw though is our homemade jams and jellies, pie fillings, and syrups (we tap our maple trees and have maple syrup, Shagbark Hickory syrup, and fresh fruit syrups). We grow a lot of the fruit here on our small farm, and get what we don’t have locally when possible. We have sold over 900 jars this year! We are still going to market each week in a nearby town who has an indoor winter market also. So, your videos were very interesting to us and we have learned from watching them today. Thank you for making such great videos and I look forward to watching many more! God bless!
Snow falling, indoors farmer’s market and pumpkin painting, what could make a better day. Great video, on to more cold weather activities to come can’t wait. 👍🏻
Hey what I'm about to say remember im not complaining when the ad pops up when I click on your video I always watch it to the end I never hit skip but when I watched it to the end instead of it going to the video it went to another ad if you are putting two ads up the ok but if its RUclips that is putting the second one up because they see I watch the whole ad then thats not right
We arent adding any more ads, its all RUclipss thing. We get to choose if we have ads run before the video. I have never seen two in a row, that is odd and a pain in the butt. I get it. Thanks Josh - Mike
@@OurWyomingLife its fine I don't care how many ads y'all put up I'll watch every one of them it was just odd that it had two back to back and I wanted to make sure y'all were getting the money for both and not just one
Awesome presentation on your tables. Great looking veggies! Pumpkin painting was a good idea! It's getting a little chilly here in Ct. It was about 40 this morning. No sign of snow yet though. I can wait... hahaha.
I shared. I'm not really techy so I hope it worked. I love your story. It's America at its core. Thanks for being brave enough to share. God, Country, Family that's what life is all about.
Have you ever thought of aquaponics? It's a really cool way to grow plants and produce fish in an indoor greenhouse. For you, I think the biggest problem would be in heating the greenhouse since you're also heating water but you can produce vegetables in the off-season if you figure it out. It gives whatever you put into it-if you work on it full time you can make a living off of it and if you just do it as a hobby you can make enough to put food on the table every once in a while that doesn't typically grow in Wyoming. If you're interested I've got a playlist about it. It's at least something that's cool to learn about
Parents will be flying into Gillette tomorrow; week of sight seeing & then dad heads to Broadus for a mule deer hunt. He started going out in 1987, I've been out twice. Beautiful country you live in, dream to live in Montana.

Awesome presentation on your tables. Great looking veggies! Pumpkin painting was a good idea! It's getting a little chilly here in Ct. It was about 40 this morning. No sign of snow yet though. I can wait... hahaha.
6:24 what a scene! Great video!
Thank you - Mike
I shared. I'm not really techy so I hope it worked. I love your story. It's America at its core. Thanks for being brave enough to share. God, Country, Family that's what life is all about.
Glad to see that you help the underprivileged people
Thanks Mike and Erin!!!
There is gold in these old videos
Great family, that shows we need farmer's .
Wow, winter comes fast in your neck of the woods.
Have you thought about wholesaling the left over crops to restaurants and local grocery stores?
Erin does some sale to restaurants and hopefully we can save all we can. Thanks - Mike
Tell a bit of the history. I enjoyed listen to my grandad talk of his life on the farm and things that happened and his dad.
Good idea thanks Charley - Mike
I really enjoy your vids, here in Australia its starting to warm up in the lead up to summer. Hopefully I will get to see snow one day!
Snow is always a shock to the system int he beginning. Thanks for sure, thanks Jamie - Mike
@@OurWyomingLife I bet it would be a big shock!

good vid guys. wish I was closer to buy some of your goodies
Thank you Sergio - Mike
Fun to watch, brings me to when I was a kid playing simfarm on my PC. Sure would like to get out of LA sometime and see Wyoming farm live for a week.
It's at least something that's cool to learn about
Love that video, we soon will be doing farmers market for are fruit. It gave me an insite of what I will have to do, Thanks!!🍒🍒
Awesome, glad we can help - Erin
Parents will be flying into Gillette tomorrow; week of sight seeing & then dad heads to Broadus for a mule deer hunt. He started going out in 1987, I've been out twice. Beautiful country you live in, dream to live in Montana.
Have you looked into a wallipni underground greenhouse? They are great for winter gardening and getting things started early.
You can send the snow on down here to Bisbee Arizona anytime I’m originally from North Dakota and I missed the snow
Maybe I can send you a snowball :) - Mike
