if you already have a half decent Magento cube with even a little decent performance, getting a gan won't make you faster. gan cubes are overrated and overpriced and not worth the price tag. just buy smth for less than $30 if you need a premium flagship

just got this guy for christmas and holy moly does it turn well! i think i got the soft coated version, I'm not quite sure but i can definitely say it feels much better and more comfortable to hold and solve. you wont regret getting this cube!

I love the 11M pro. Imo the feel is very similar to the RSM in terms of smoothness. But, the 11M cuts way, way better and effortlessly. I also like the lightnes of it. Combined with the weaker corner-edge magnets it makes you feel like you really control how the cube moves. If that makes sense.

You're right!! It's like it follows your mind and not just your hands! I had this same feeling riding my Kawasaki Ninja sport bike - It reads your mind!! Smooth. I am definitely going to improve with this cube.
I've got several cubes, but I've never owned a GAN. I'm thinking of trying the 356 XS, partly because I like the contrast between the light exterior colours and the black internals on the stickerless version. I did try my brother's old GAN cube before, but I wasn't too keen on how it felt when turning. The price of GAN cubes has been a bit off-putting as well. GAN cubes do seem like very good cubes to buy every so often, but not every year. Right now I mainly practice with a DaYan TengYun M and DaYan GuHong V3 M, both excellent cubes in my opinion. Very good review video too!

now i need some help guys. so the thing he was explaining about the turning momentum being heavier in the core is something that i dislike in cubes i want to know if that feeling stays or what happens to it. secondly , does changing the tensions really give a different feel, cuz i have a gan 356 m and changing the ges nuts is pointless because it barely makes a difference. lastly the aggressive lockups , i want to know if it gets better or not because i am more of an inaccurate and rough turner and i dont know if it would be good for me as he said it requires precise turning. i really do love what this cube has to offer but i just need to clear up these things before buying it as i want to be 100% confident in my investment i guess. Also can anyone just describe its feel and how different its feeling is from other standard magnetic cubes or even previous GAN cubes on a scale of 1-10 cuz i dont know if ill be able to adapt to it as he said that u need to get use to it and then its just a big waste of money. I had a gan back in like 2015-2016 and it was my favorite cube but someone at my school stole it because I forgot it in a class, I’m definitely gonna get this to replace my mf3rs

Honestly, I don't think so. I have the Gan air sm and I'm satisfied with it. Sure I want the Gan 11 M pro, but there's essentially no difference in the performance. The only difference is the feeling (That could even be the same, depends on what lube combo you use) and weight. Also, with those 65 something $ You could buy a different cube you never have/had before. That's my opinion.
I disagree. I have both and in my opinion the difference in the two is definitely more than noticeable in raw performance, but the customization that I’ve been able to do with it really puts the icing on the cake. If you are able to get it I would definitely reccomend

Bro I was watching this and just CRINGED when you were turning before you set it up thinking "nooooo! Just adjust it all ready dang!" Then you went to break it in and came back with that "OMG IT IS GREAT". I'm glad you figured it out. And lockups will be better with stronger mag setting on the corner forn the edges not core for me at least. 4 on blue. Compression springs on 4th setting. magnets in corners set to 3 and strong core mags. Feels like butter made out of silk, then coated in butter again!
I see that your cube is turning very smoothly, unlike mine. Can you share your settings, including the magnet you used for the corners. Mine is dark blue nut setting 2, 3 audible clicks for the compression, default triangular corner magnets. For lube, I have weight 5 for core and cosmic candy cane on the tracks and pieces. Weirdly, the lube I use is supposed to make the cube gummy. But no matter how much lube I add, somehow the cube does not get gummy, and continues to have that scratchy and dry turning feel.
My last gan was the SM then I move to moyu's cubes, I dont like how light the sm that it feels cheap. I already bought uv coated lollll idk what to expect given that it is currently the lightest cube now.
it doesn't feel cheap at all. Don't get me wrong it is indeed light but i think the new magnets system compensate well. One thing I notice with my sm and x is that they are kinda flimsy when I press on individual corners and edges. I think that is main thing that make it unlikable for me.

I'm not jr cuber but I'll reccomend you the uv coated version cause of grip and durability. And for the magnets. The magnets depend on the user... It all depends on the user in terns of edge magnets and tensions.

YJ MGC ELITE 3X3: It has many customization settings and can fit many turning styles. I set mine up with weight 5 on the core and SCS Cosmic Martian. My spring compression is on 4 and it is on about medium tensions. Great for the price.
