If you want to audition for HYBE labels but it’s only for boys I suggested you audition for HYBE labels japan which is there JPOP company and they accept both boys and girls and it’s for people who are born in 2000 or later and by the way OUI isn’t a female only company anymore because they have a boy group called WEI

The requirement to be an idol
1.you have to be skinny (if your not the will put you on a diet)
2.light skin (medium colored skin or light skin)
3.sing and dance
4.pleasant visuals
5.a good attitude and a nice personality

I hope we all can achieve our dreams. for those who are auditioning, good luck! me and my friend both want to be k-pop idols but as were Muslims we both think our parents would not allow. my parents said I can be anything I wanted, but I'm not sure if they would agree. i told them i want to be in army and they said sure,... well my mom did but my dad did not allow. i kept and kept thinking and thinking what should i do. but i realized my heart wanted to beocome a kpop idol. ive made that final decision but im not ready to tell them so soon yet. my age is 10 and im planning to audition when im 15. what do you guys think i should do to convince them or like first even tell them.

Well it deppens on your skills
I’d say it’s easier to build Dance or Rapping skills. Singing is harder to get accepted for unless you have a unique type of singing voice. If spitting words clearly is easy for you, then go with rapping. Or else do for powerful dances.
And when auditioning, dance to a song which focuses on dance. For example, dancing to a song from Ive would not be good since they are not a group who focuses on dance. But going for a Group like ITZY, or even a non Kpop song will better your chances. Though of course it matters for skill and confidence at the end of the day!

Same I'm not 18 I don't live anywhere near South Korea I don't speak any Korean or read any and I'm not very good at singing or dancing but it's always been my dream since I've as little to be in a kpop company because I have always enjoyed dancing and singing. But my parents would never allow it.

In JYP they treat foreigners very nicely- South Korea doesn’t have many black people around so there will be times you encounter racism- but it’s not a daily thing :) hope this helps you out !

Im so happy that the big 3 companies dont take any money for trainee's because im not born in a fully rich family and my parents are very protective over their money so atleast that is a good reason for them to allow me, also if ur parents are not allowing directly, maybe try telling them that you will fulfill certain goals like passing ur up-coming exams, etc.

Idk if i can be a kpop idol ever cuz i’m not Asian and i’m only 10 (born in 2012) but it’s my dream tho and i would really like to be a kpop idol under JYP ent
you’re really young, so you can start to train singing/dancing/rapping and find ur favorite! then when you’ll have the age to audition, you’ll have good skills trust me :)

When you're 14, Go for auditions
For now wait til you're atleast 13-15 in the meantime practice vocals, dancing, flexibility, balance, have a diet (when you are 12 only with consent from a guardian), singing, rapping (if not that's fine). It's competitive so don't be sad if you get rejected there's always another time or another company also I suggest learning Korean too.

My dad seems pretty open for this, or I think he is because I asked if I could go to a YG in person audition and he said “do you have a dance prepared” he seems open but my mom isn’t as open as she sees this as her 15 year old daughter might go to Korea and live without her family (she said this to me) I understand her concern which is why if I don’t make it in any of the auditions I will try to do it when I’m 18 since I am planning on going to college abroad, I’m willing to prove to my family that I can have a chance, I’m a bit disappointed with my parents not exactly wanting this for me but I understand their concern

I've always liked Jyp entertainment and i even tried to apply the online audition back then when i was 14 years old but i didn't apply because I didn't know my height and as for my weight it's around 42kg idk if that makes me underweight because my friends who are shorter than me weights more than me 💀 well ig my height is around 5'6 or 5'7 but I'm not sure (I'm skinny yes💀tho i wanna gain weight but I can't no matter what I eat I don't gain weight lmao). I can speak Japanese a little and for korean I only know basic words like thank you, hello, etc. I can rap a little, can sing any language song (if i learn) tho the most I'm confident in is Japanese and English, as for dance I can, but I can't make clear steps as I never had any tutor for vocal or dance classes but if i sing and dance everyday for 1 year maybe i can. I'm 17 years old rn maybe I'll try auditioning in next year.

I would join JYP or HYBE because I have the dance moves for HYBE but the charm and singing for JYP, but I’d have to change my nose, my height, & my skin😭😭
They accept any height for example chaeyoung from twice she is 5”3 I think also they will bleach your skin if it’s to dark but they most likely won’t if your like a light caramel or light tan

Go for it! I think after you turn 14 you don’t need your parents consent. But I’d say to still try and get your parents to support you because the journey can be very mentally draining. Good luck!!

@@shaidulislam2420 tbh even if you pass an audition anytime soon, you’ll most likely debut in 5th gen. I’d say try and get your parents permission. If not, practice very hard until you grow a bit older. 14 is not old so don’t worry. In the meantime you can even learn Korean.

Tbh i want to audition for hybe, i mean the treatment is not really bad, and this is the list of the companies i rejected to audition for:
1. Jyp, the way they overwork their idols is just horrible.
2. Yg, liars.
3. Sm, they always force their idols to do plastic surgery but i don't want to.
4. Cube, i thought it will be good but i'm obviously wrong.

If you're auditioning for big companies like yg, jyp , sm , hybe they gonna pay for ur tickets and etc but if ur auditioning for small companies maybe they will not pay for ur tickets and all ... That my opinion idk about others I hoped this helps you.

They'll allow you to join school
If you become too much famous they'll provide personal tutor and if you are not that much famous then you can join any school/college in korea😊
