Toni Braxton is an amazing singer and stunning. Her first album is a must listen if you haven't already. The early 90s were everything in R&B and Toni Braxton with Babyface and LA Reid behind her was everything! Tyson Beckford was one of, if not, THE top male model of the early 90s and Toni did that when he popped up in the video lol. Oh and the dress and hair she wore at the end of the video was duplicated 100 times at my prom after this song came out lol.
I think one of my daughters listened to this one a lot when she realized the young man she was in love with broke her heart by having a girlfriend. I never listened to the whole song till now. There's so much heartbreak in her voice.

There's another song by a 90's R&B group Men at Large called "I'm So Alone". Now, you'd think k that was a breakup song until you get to the end of the song & he's actually talking about the passing of his mom. Tony Terry "With You" seems like a love song, especially watching the video. However, it was about his daughter.

It seems to be making a comeback from what I've seen on You Tube. I was Wondering if you've heard of it? I know your young. Thought perhaps you could do a reaction video to it? There's so many hit songs to choose from. One of my favorite hit songs that seems to be making a come back is by The Tymes You Little Trustmaker released in 1974. Toni Braxton was gorgeous and an amazing singer, but by several accounts of people who worked with her, an absolutely horrible person. Demanding, unreasonable, self-centered. It's such a shame. I'd been a huge fan before I heard stories about how she treated her own crew.
After beginning her career with her sisters, the huge sudden success of her solo career did what it does to a lot of young performers -- but she eventually snapped out of it. She wasn't a horrible person -- really -- just an immature one.
Toni Braxton... beautiful woman. Strong, powerful voice. Love her music. I was fortunate to grow up in her era of music. 80's-90's era there was a lot of break-up/heartbreak songs.
