I dont mean to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb lost the account password. I would love any tricks you can give me
Rewatching this gem after the summer route vid - you've come such a long way! Have to say I prefer the rasta-60's soundtracks on the new vids ☮️. Great stuff as always!
I only recently found this channel and agree that the quality has gotten insanely good. It has gone from "that's a lot of work" to "how the heck did he do that?"
@@EverythingsBeenDone so true! Hope your group are all well and back st some amazing adventures soon! Love all of your vids, truly, and appreciate the entertainment. They kept me motivated and going during covid.
Jeez, this my favourite type of video. Again, I really don't know how you keep filming in such shitty wet, cold conditions, but thank you. Thank you so much,
Love this video, I can watch it over and over. It's showing the epitome of winter riding. It's a suffer-fest with it's own flavour. I can identify with this so much. There's a saying that can be applied to this kind of ride - "If it's not raining? It not training." There's so many experiences all rolled into one ride. Variety of life spice, Vindaloo level. I think it also improves your riding skills due to the condition of the surface from the weather. etc. Yes, we all hate it when we're doing it but that adventure is always worth it. The stoke comes later and you'll always dare to do it again, just because. It's 5 years on. @Dustinklein how about showing the contrast? By riding the very same route just after the Summer Solstice. That would be something, for sure.
Hello Dustin! Firstly big THANK to you for sharing your amazing achievement and riding against the freezing chilly weat and cold winter weather, climbing and piercing the darkness! Congratulations for your brave winter ride! It is the challenging ride we remember most, don´t we? Wishing you and your good friends a very good start for this new year with many happy and safe rides ! Soon the days turns to spring and you and your friends will have so much more friendly and more pleasant weather conditions to enjoy during your rides, and then this winter cold freezing ride will make your spring and summer ride even more enjoyable to experience! All the Best always to you and your friends! Best Regards, Charl
AWESOME!! My grinder is an old '70s Peugeot converted to early '90s Campy shift and original single pivot rim brakes....... gotta plan ahead when it's dry.... when it's wet, just pray!!
Hard core! I just discovered you most excellent channel. As an ex-pat Oregonian living in Germany I miss the large expanses of forests that aren't farmed. Fun to watch your content. 👍
It looks like you live near St. John's in Portland. I passed your way in July frying my ass on the STP ride in record heat. It was fun. Crossing the St. John's bridge meant the end is near! Repent. I finished but did not repent. I still have a road bike in Salem at my friends place for when I visit my mom once a year. It is a first gen cannondale touring bike that would probably make a pretty good gravel bike with fatter tires. I'll have to try that next summer. The ride to Antelope, er, Rajneeshpuram, looked amazing as well. All that was going down when I was at OSU. It made for interesting nightly news. Keep the great content coming. It is very refreshing.
Sensational !! So, I get it. You've got your "bright ideas," and then you've got your "dimly lit ideas", but I commend each of you for your effort and thank you for the video which is great entertainment, and motivation. Really inspirational. It's pouring rain here in chester county,PA tomorrow but we're gonna ride, and blame it on you!
terry barentsen sent me here a few weeks ago now, and these are the best videos on the internet, imo. i'd like to see a terry b. and dklein shenanigans video someday.
OMG!! That’s the best cycling video I ever seen. You are so fun and the others guys are just amazing!! I start recently my own channel with road rides based on you. I watched this episode so many times and I still keep looking at yours creations for more fresh ideas and amazing point of views you always deliver. If I could ask for one advice from you what it could be ?
I'm late to the party, but damn if that wasn't an epic ride. I"m just getting back into biking after years off... bought a gravel bike that allows fenders/racks, etc. I'm training for the fitness to be able to go out and do 100+ mile rides. Heck yeah, what an adventure.
great video. inspiring. it has been cold here and i haven't been on the bike much. it is -22 today with the wind chill, but in a week we could be back above the freeze line, and now i see it is possible to enjoy a 32º day like you guys have done. good job. -steve
Cool.. Inspiring me for my Winter training out here in Seaside, OR for next Dirty Kanza next year though I'm going for the 100. will be my first. So if you know that you'll be out riding the coast again, let me know...
An epic display of strength, skills, stamina and dedication to cycling overshadowed by the toothbrush frame! XD Anyway, you 3 are out of this world, keep up the great work with riding and filming Dustin, Always a great pleasure to watch your videos even tough I don't ride gravel bikes! ^___^
Hi Dustin, I dropped on your video from "Recommended" on my feed, super awesome looking ride though well out of my comfort zone. Three pairs of gloves, theres a warning there in itself. Great video well shot! Now off to binge watch a few more of your vids. New subscriber...Atb Nige 🚴👍
What a little gem i found on your channel ! Oh man you are so lucky to have champ friends like those . Keep Going Gnarly triping ! Or the other way around ...i am not sure ! LoL
Thanks for the good words! In the snow yes I did want knobbier tires, but there was so much non snow on the ride that I was stoked on the tire choice. The knobbies I have are sluggy on the pavement. See current video: ruclips.net/video/JYAXiI9UNtg/видео.html
That was too much fun. I want to brush my teeth on a ride now.
Next level experience.
lol. i was about to comment on the mid ride tooth brushing! as the man says, "next level experience."
I would be stoked on some kind of Terry and Dustin colab video.
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a method to log back into an Instagram account??

@Daxton Harrison instablaster =)
This is still my favourite DK video
I live in Portland. When I get in better shape, I want to ride with you guys sometime
Type 2 fun: Not fun to do... but fun to remember
LOL Nail on the head.
Will remember this for life.
"Gore-Tex Warrior" going to have to use that one sometime
Respect to you & double respect to Ryan & David for riding home the next day!!
SO Gnarly of Ryan and David they are the true champs!
That dish glove idea is genius! Hope to run into you around Portland one of these days.

I love the light speed fast forward. I will say it. And it will be noted today. Dklein is my favorite RUclips channel. Officially
👊🙌🙌
Sic!! I miss your old hardcore crazy adventure vids! Full of cool folks, funky bikes and bitchin fenders and food.
Covid kinda stole the thunder out of the group rides ;\

yeshhh!! Filming is fullly a handicap, but I embrace the challenge. I figured these rides were so nutty others would want to come along for the ride.
Thanks for the upload!!! I love your "shaggy" giggle when the effects from the high was in full force :) keep up the great work. Best, Rob

Love the 650B conversion done on that one bike.
That's definitely some rad shit there. That's what Mountain Biking was like in the 80s.
Ive been thinking the same thing about these rides and OG MTBing.
Outstandingly dry wit from all. nice ride.

Totally! That is exactly why I am so impressed with Ryan riding this bike on all this gnarly stuff.
Dustin Klein, not sure "impressed" is the word you'd use for me, lol.
REALLY enjoy your vids, always inspirational!
You've got respect from me for that for sure. Honored to be able to pass the stoke along!
THC/CBD, hot toddies, and gravel bikes. dude is my spirit animal

Your sound editing is on point! Super clean! And other positive adjectives!

I'm glad to hear you appreciate that angle also!
Best one yet. What a ride and portrayed so eloquently! When you first hit the logs and gnarly off road I was certainly feeling jealous haha
Much Respect!!

Definitely a chourney ✌
I'm gonna floss on my next epic ride. Dental one-upsmanship!
LOL!!!! YESHHHHH
epic vlog! good work
Thank you!!
Nice winter pedal that fella ^5
The jacket you are wearing for the start phase , is it cadence, whats the deal on this jacket it looks bombproof
Interesting take on water proof glove are the fingers cut down and put on over cold weather gloves???
😂🤣😂
Dude. Boss. Holy eff.
Wow that was Amazing ride .. & your buddy’s did all that on top lol never right .. Amazing
They are crazy!
Epic! I would have died. Thank you.
Great video. Exciting to watch.
Given the rough terrain, would it be better if you rode with a MTB with front suspension?
Damn I need to ride with you guys
Use nitrile gloves under your regular gloves... Keeps your hands dry and is good for circulation. Surprisingly not sweaty in low temperatures
inspiring stuff 👍 makes me want to go and ride rather than just think about riding
Get it buddy!
Epic ride that, loved the toothbrush you lot are hardcore
Sick fun....
