- Hey Cruise World Crew! Come join us as we board and explore the newest and BIGGEST cruise ship in the world, @RoyalCaribbean ICON OF THE SEAS! We hopped onboard this ICONIC ship for its Maiden Voyage and were immediately impressed with the size and beauty. First we grabbed lunch and explored the entire ship. After sail away, we had dinner with our friends from @BeachPlease and saw an amazing show at the brand new Aquadome before closing the night with a balloon drop on the Royal Promenade. Boarding went smooth. My favorite place on a cruise ship is the Central Park on RCL ships. What kind of meat is in that sandwich? I remember having a wonderful Roast Beef there but it didn't have that name. Now those look my kind of water slides? I'd have to go with Mike's Dinner selection 🐸
Very smooth! It’s Roast Beef…. I know it’s also called the Royal Kummelweck on Wonder and Harmony…. That’s the only two other ships I had one on…. We are going to tackle that water park next week…

Way too big, don't see the point in being cramped in with so many people
I have to tell you, I have been WAY more cramped and crowded on some smaller ships. Yes, the ship carries a TON of people, but it is also HUGE. And there are SO many different places to hang out and things to do that in the 5 days we have been onboard so far, we have not felt crowded at all. Now, the adults only hideaway area at the rear of the ship has been very crowded every time we have been back that way, but its adults only and the people there know what they’re getting in to…. We are a fan of ships of all sizes, and this one is amazing!
