This was originally a reply to someone, figured I’d post it as my own comment even tho I doubt anyone reads it. Maybe YNG will and can take some advice from it who knows. Having a genuinely new idea for a rebuild is just SOOOO rare. You’ll see twists on ideas, or an idea remixed a little…etc. Career sims and stuff like Clique popularized and some others do, no matter who you do now it’s really not original. But yea he obviously takes ideas from his comments, socials Inc his subR and all that, then often changes the idea in a lot of ways, or it inspires another idea. Sometimes he basically does the recommended idea close to 100% as recommended. When you have a following that big and get literally thousands of ideas, there’s really more than you could ever do and even your own ideas are going to be inspired by those in some way. This is truly the first (what I’d consider to be) truly original idea in a LONGGGG time. There are prolly only like idk…50 original rebuild ideas at the most and then everything is built off of those in some way. Hitting one of those 50 or whatever random amount is crazy and the creator of this video should be proud of himself. I mean I’m not disagreeing with you in the slightest. I don’t watch many rebuilds anymore. I still love watching Kenny and Clique but more their other stuff now. I enjoy their personalities, so I love the other content they do. Clique just joined up w Dom2K and they’re doing a podcast going forward instead of Dom solo or w guests, Dom, Clique, and another kid Coby or Kobi or however you spell it. I hit a wall recently w rebuilds after so many years and I just can’t rly do them anymore. I quit playing 2K more than a few times a year like a few years ago but I still enjoyed watching some. Just can’t do it anymore. This was an exception. I just watch NBA content like ThinkingBasketball or Sam Vecenie (Game Theory podcast) along w Kenny’s channels, Clique’s, a million other pods (mostly bball some not) etc. then a few non bball RUclipsrs. Obv shout out Through The Wire podcast. I think rebuilds on YT will eventually die off. 2K is too stagnant. It’ll always have a niche audience, but to get a 200K sub count now…it seems nearly impossible. I think once you hit a certain point you must branch out in to non 2K related NBA content. But ya this was a super long post. I’ll stop soon lmao. Obv Kenny tries and if I were him I’d rebuild my ass off bc of the $, and pursue my passions elsewhere like via his other ventures. I think that’s what he’s doing, I think that’s what the blueprint is now. It’s either that or you fall off basically and stop creating content which we’ve seen a lot of the OG rebuilders do. Again awesome idea. Truly an original. I hope creator is able to build and expand eventually. Follow the Kenny blueprint if possible, or the Clique one which involves more streaming. Obviously for now focus on building your core, just saying for the future. There’s a reason Kenny was named here. Peace and best wishes to all.
