If the devs didnt reach into the deepest depths of your wallet just to play the game, I would actually try it. But yeah, no.
Devs need to make their subscription services more affordable. I'd like to see a subscription model that gives you in game bonuses based on your hours played, not per month. Give weekend warriors the same chance as every day players.
So for example: $9.99 gives you 200 in game hours of premium bonuses. If you play premium for 1000 hours, you paid $50 for the game. Affordable and fair for everyone.
@ArmoredStone Limitations of the legacy engine prevent this from occurring or other monetization efforts such as various infantry or uniform skins. Those features would be reserved or potentially included in UE5 or WWII Online 2.0. A potential temporary solution to consider is the use of the Steam Starter Subscription at $7.99/month which includes a number of pieces of equipment to in line with tier progression (technological advancement as the campaign progresses).
Hey, they now allow AT guns and a lot more infantry options. It has started this campaign itself but some classes are still locked for F2P.
@@lameking2839 If it is a yellow lock that means rank limitations but accessible. If it is red-locked, that is a limitation of the player's sub: free, start, DLC, premium, etc.
This game is free to play
The US just pulled a page out of Montgomery's playbook.
I bet the SAS are thinking "HOW DARE YOU STEAL OUR THUNDER!?"
Thank you for bringing this game to my attention! I was watching you play it last night on stream. I plan on playing it later tonight!!
I am truly impressed when bluedrake actually plays WWIIonline more than me
watching a Bluedrake WWII online video ~7 years ago got me into this game, PR, tactical gaming, and so many other things - weird full circle moment
once this game gets ported to ue5 it will probably be the best ww2 game ever
I had so much fun playing this game when it came out. That was back when night was dark as hell. It looks like a ghost town now though. I'd love to see it re-done in UE.
In the first decade of the game, I was one of the best tankers in this game. Name was "imsneaky." I was the only person in those days, to get the British tanks into the top 25 every single campaign. I was part of a great squad called BKB. Black Knight Brigade. The largest squad to play primarily as Brits.
That said, it was painful to watch you in that Tiger. LOL Nub! hahahahaha Hey, but keep at it. Nobody starts out great in that game. You have to earn your place at the top.
Ok
@@YungEagle3k OK What?
ok
@@phando3729 LOL Triggered? 😅
@@leroyrussell8766 ok?
You make good videos. Keep it up. 🤗👍
What platform are you playing games on?
cool
Is this the battleground Europe game you played years ago? I remember you were using 2-way radios in real life because there were no in-game communications.
WW2 online
Same game. They changed the name a few times.
@@euphobone oh that’s that’s kinda interesting
@@Coiledboat yeah. I think it started as WWII Online Blitzkrieg, then WWII Online: Battleground Europe, in like 2006, then just WWII Online about 7 or 8 years ago.
Cool
epik
You should make another teardown video, there are tons of new mods like mors longa and grand tear auto
@Bluedrake42 Good stuff, sir. Loads of fun and interesting things to do in WWII Online.
Really looking forward to 2.0 hopefully the upgrade to UE5 will revitalize the game
Good lord I hope this game takes off
It's 20 years old
@@YungEagle3k 22* :)
ALLIES JUST WON USA USA USA ..
I'm waiting for their UE5 remake/reboot. The game has a great thing going, mmo player driven world and objectives, but it's just so dated now. 22 years old and it really shows. Graphics aren't everything but I'd like it see it brought into this current decade at least.
Can you plz do more gmod realism
There's literally 12 people playing
They are bringing this in to unreal 5. Once they finish the assets in wwii chokepoint they are going to flip them into wwii online 2.0 pretty cool the community bought the company to save and transform this game.
Do you realize that creating an mmo fps similar to the scale of this game in ue5 would not only be a modern marvel of engineering but also a project that would require many millions of dollars and a team of 50-100+ skilled people?
This games so dead the developers refuse to tell potential players/subscribers how many players are active. (It’s like 20 people on steam lol). They’ll lie and say most people sign up on their website
wouldn't be better to give combat engineers an SMG or semi-auto rifle ?
They can have a few it’s like a variant class
or a trench gun? (if american)
But nobody plays the game?
Fard
What about Enlisted?
Too unrealistic. The large-scale battles aren't ideal for commando raids.
@@M4A1BestGirl I only played the tutorials. In enlisted is it basically COD WaW but you control a squad?
I Just Can't Get Behind "Grind-Based" Games. If Your A Casual Player Or Can't Afford "Upgrades" Its Going To Be Hard To Compete. I Realize That CRS Has To Turn A Profit, But $216/Yr To Play/Grind???
yeah the learning curve is Very steep if you turn off all the sources of comms available to you. easily one of the worst noobs
ever to plague the server.
He doesnt really play games like we do. He plays because the owners of a game pays him to 'advertise' their game.
Bit sad innit?
Bruh this game is 20 years old, this game hasn't been updated the smallest bit since I first played back in 2012. This game sucks lmao.
@EFCivicBoi1991 Have you seen the new UE5 assets that are in game? The Higgins Boat announcement which was just announced on Friday?
@@tex64 No I didn't. I don't have any interest in playing this game anymore. The fact they still make you pay a monthly subscription like WoW just to unlock the majority of the features is lame. I'd rather have to pay 60 or 70 dollars up front for it. 17 dollars is too steep, if it was 5 or 7 dollars a month, sure. 10 maybe..
@@SgtSnazzerino Perfect then, $7.99/mth Steam Starter Sub gets you everything but the last tech tier. Heckuva bargain as we are an indie studio of primarily volunteers.
cheats are obviously on dude.
Thank you for bringing this game to my attention! I was watching you play it last night on stream. I plan on playing it later tonight!!
