Thanks to all I learned on your channel, we just got the basic Miele compact washer and dryer and love it! We have a small condo and were able to move laundry from the kitchen by building a small closet in the spare bedroom since it runs on 110 and no vent. Very quiet, does a great job and easy to use. Thanks!
I have two full sized front loader pairs in my house. One is from Speed Queen that’s about eighteen years old now that’s downstairs that I use for my tablecloths and kitchen towels and the other pair is from Electrolux Lux Care upstairs' that replaced my old Whirlpool Duets. I’ve had the Electrolux pair for ten years now and can’t get over their cleaning ability. I’ve (knock on wood) not had a problem yet with any of my machines because I take really meticulously good care of them by vacuum out the dryer chutes and heater boxes and always running a clean or empty cycle in the washing machines with a washing machine cleaner every month. I also wash down the cabinets well and car polish them often so they don’t rust. I never run two cycles in the machines on the same day. That way I know that all of the mechanical parts have had a chance to thoroughly cool down and I hope that I get decades more use out of them as a result. Those are tips that were given to me by my aunts who had machines that lasted them longer than anyone that I’ve ever known.
I've had Miele and now have the newest Bosch 500 washer and drier. The Bosch is OK, but The Miele was better. 2K for a washer and it doesn't have auto dispense (Bosch 500)? After the detergent is poured into the dispenser, if the door is opened to add more clothes, detergent spills on the floor. And I had some issues getting the self-cleaning condenser cleaning cycle to run and the manual seemed like it was written for the old model. None of the instructions matched. Customer service was worthless. After waiting for 20 minutes on hold, they told me I needed to unplug the washer for 5 minutes and try again. And if it didn't work, I had to call again. It washes and dries the clothes well enough, but if I had it to do again - the Miele!
In my experience, the small washer does great, but the small dryer may not. At the very least, the dryer's results will be badly wrinkled. *Bosch 24" units from 15 years ago.)
I'm surprised the LG 24 inch compact units weren't covered. I have the WM1455 washer and DLHC1455 heat pump dryer. They've worked great for the year I've had them. I have them stacked, but I would get the newer 24 inch compact WashTower (WKHC152) if I was getting LG compact units today to fit the same space.
I hope this gets a reply. For someone in a 800 sq ft place who's looking for compact units, would the LG separate units be better? I ask cuz in the tower if one thing needs to be replaced, does the entire Tower need to be replaced instead of just the one machine if they're split?
What's your take about newer and upcoming ventless combo models coming out without the dedicated lint filter? Instead, these comes with a universal but smaller drain filter, which I'm not that convinced yet it'll get the job done.
Are all 220 volts* and $$$ big bucks? *220 volt machines impose large limitations on where you can place them. If you must add a new electrical run, that installation must be close to your electrical panel.

By the way the Electrolux pair that I have on my second floor I use for cleaning my clothing, bath towels and bed linens.

Which set would allow for washing and drying a queen size duvet?

I get it...I reviewed the compact WashTower because it was new...but it really is similar to the two pieces.

What about Asko?
Don't sell it...They have had an odd ownership odessey over the last 10 years

I would stay away.......

Which laundry brand (or washer) lets you the most water to the cycles?!
Speed Queen and the GE Commercial for the home are 70 gallon fills
@@YaleAppliance1 Thanks! But I meant front load washers... :)
Any Front Load washing machines are the worst investment.
I disagree
