  • This golf swing trick feels like cheating! When you get your right arm in the correct position, the club moves perfectly in the backswing and downswing every time. Every golfer I know says it feels like a shortcut when they set up their right arm correctly with a driver or irons. It adds serious distance and accuracy to your game! This is how to tuck your elbow like the pros.
Getting your right arm right helps you hit more from the inside on the downswing. Here’s the best way to set up to the ball with a driver and irons. The Average Golfer shows you-Start Your Right Arm Like This, and It’ll Feel Like Cheating!

I think a series of tips presented in group is an excellent idea.

I use this idea. It’s made so much of a difference I my ball striking. My miss today on the golf course was left or right of my target. Alignment issues are hard for me to correct. But setting up the same way everytime is my goal. Then just hit it and go hit it again. Lowering my expectations and playing to have fun helps.

Really great tip I’ve used before but fallen into bad habits again. Used it today and struck it really well 👍👍

Check out Tom Saguto’s golf channel and he talks about this all the time. Great instructor.

Seconded. I also discovered SagutoGolf a while back. He’s superb, total game changer in the way he removes the variables and distils the golf swing down to something really simple. Another very useful tip, Andy, and keep up the good work.

A quick fire way to ascertain whether your shoulder line is correct is to address the ball. Then let go of the trail hand and with your lead hand move the club back and let the handle rest on your waist / groin. Let your lead hand fall back naturally to where it was at address. If your hands are parallel then your shoulder line is correct. If they are off-set (trail hand is further away from the body than the lead hand) then you are “coming over the top”
