I'm a Police officer and I have an exam soon on Hearsay and evidence Law, I've been struggling a lot with understanding hearsay. This video has definitely given me some insight. Thank you.
Thanks. I'll try to get more on evidence on this channel and my website. The following might be helpful:

Good content man... Had this doubt since Johnny vs Amber trials popped up in my recommendations. Point and precise!😁👍👍
Btw got to say those are some cute animations btw. Which software did you use to animate those? 🙂
These cartoons are very good at simplifying hearsay to make it easier to get a grasp on. Thank you.

Nice work. Was able to clarify all the questions I had on hearsay.
Thank you @USLaw Essentials
Great video! Thank you for detailed explanations, but the speech velocity is so slow that i needed to speed it up to 1.5 so it flows better...
The bar is coming up for me in three weeks and I'm having such a hard time with evidence particularly character evidence and hearsay but these videos have helped! Thank you
BaNaNNiE925 Thanks. Good luck on the bar! You mentioned you're looking for character evidence vids - - I might have something soon.
did you passs?? ;P
Hello. So If I understand well, the witness can only repeat what they see/hear if they witnessed the event ?
But if they weren't there during the even but heard by someone else what happened that is hearsay ?
And I have a question, if there's a hearsay but the lawyer doesn't object, what does the jury do with the informations ? (It's not for an exercise just in case)
Okay, thank you so much! ❤
So if a witness is trying to prove what year she was born in, but a fore destroyed all of the records for the county where the witness was born, the witness provides a bible with hand written dates with marriage and death, and birth dates. How do you determine if this is Hearsay.
Hi Laura,
fore = fire right? Is this a HW assignment or exam? If so, I assume I'm not allowed to help you and don't want to get you in trouble with your instructor.
@@USLawEssentials can you tell me? I thought it was a good Question, however I understand why you did not answer. I’m curious.
I am a Paralegal student and I am struggling to understand Hearsay and evidence.
Did you understand yet? 💀
Oops I meant I'm taking it in four weeks. I can't keep track of time anymore lol but character evidence videos would be super cool!
did you pass?
ohhhhhhhhh
hate it
What?
