I’m using cheap microscope. Around $1000. It has 3 eyes (set a video system ) and 7 - 45x zoom and long arm base.

This doesn’t help too much. You would need to calibrate the micrometer in the ocular with an object micrometer scale to be able to do actual measurements.
I use a Zeiss microscope to measure jewels and pivots to 0.001mm

      Thanks for watching and advice.
My scope’s objective lens are variable 0.7x to 4.7x (ocular lens are 10x).
Then I usually calculate objective lens times scale. If Set a 1.0x nearly perfectly.
It’s same to my skills :-)
Your system is perfect ! Is it use with lathe ?

@@tanakayawatch no, it’s not a binocular microscope I only use it to check parts for damage. It’s definitely overkill for what I do. The highest magnification is 800.
I plan on getting myself a binocular one for lathe work.
