The biggest hurdle for India acquiring the F-35 is geopolitical. The U.S. only sells the F-35 to allies, where as India aims to play both sides. Currently, F-35 is having delivery issues. So even if India is willing to subsume its own interests to that of the U.S. in order to acquire the F-35, there will be a very long lead time to even acquire the first batch. The Chinese, with their own AWACS, was able to fly their J-20 undetected up to the F-35 in the East China Sea. The Pakistanis should be able to do the same since they are using mostly Chinese fighters which will smoothly integrate into the Chinese made AWACS. Would F-35 be able to integrate into the Netra MK-1A? Also the Chinese, having had fifth gen fighters, have had a long lead time in developing how to take out enemy AWACS and protect its own against fifth gen fighters. The Pakistanis will inherit these capabilities and tactics. This is yet to be done for India since they don't have fifth gen fighters today.
There were plenty of mistakes but yup , only comment , I can agree. It's not that tough to integrate F-35 and NETRA AWACS , both nations will work on it , when you buy any fighter jet it's not just a fighter jet you buy plenty of missiles , integration with other platforms.

Same with the Chinese AWACS and J-20. It takes years to iron out all the kinks. The Netra is integrated with the rest of the Indian air force, so making change to it involving changing many existing systems, not a simple task. Also there are inherent limitations to how much you can integrate two systems that never work with each other. The F-22 is an example, the F-35 has much better avionics, notably data link and distributed EOTS. They eventually, with great effort, added data link to the F-22 like the F-35, but the distributed EOTS was not possible due to the space limitation of the F-22. As is, the F-22 will retire in 2030 without distributed EOTS. This is between two U.S. made systems.

There is no real incentive for aggression and many very real disincentives for either country to perpetrate aggressive air strikes into the other. LOL Su-57 is for air shows, recruitement and national pride, not for combat. How many Su-57 have been produced? A dozen, at most? They will not be risked in combat and be exposed as the rest of Russian military hardware as been exposed as inferior to western equivalents. But I don't think India has the $$ to buy and maintain F-35 either, I don't think it will ever happen. BUt.. I doubt they'll be looking to Russian hardware after seeing it all fail in Ukraine. Both J20&J35(FC31) far more advance than F22&F35 because Chinese jets have better radors, avionic, engines and weapons. They fly higher, faster and with longer range. Chinese jets are also 100% domestic made; while Indian jets are all imported. No comparion.

The f35 is the most advanved plane in the World. As much as we Pakistanis would like to beleive otherwise it just wont happen. Even the Rafales are better than anything Pakistan has. The biggest hurdle for India acquiring the F-35 is geopolitical. The U.S. only sells the F-35 to allies, where as India aims to play both sides. Currently, F-35 is having delivery issues. So even if India is willing to subsume its own interests to that of the U.S. in order to acquire the F-35, there will be a very long lead time to even acquire the first batch. The Chinese, with their own AWACS, was able to fly their J-20 undetected up to the F-35 in the East China Sea. The Pakistanis should be able to do the same since they are using mostly Chinese fighters which will smoothly integrate into the Chinese made AWACS. Would F-35 be able to integrate into the Netra MK-1A? Also the Chinese, having had fifth gen fighters, have had a long lead time in developing how to take out enemy AWACS and protect its own against fifth gen fighters. The Pakistanis will inherit these capabilities and tactics. This is yet to be done for India since they don't have fifth gen fighters today.
There were plenty of mistakes but yup , only comment , I can agree. It's not that tough to integrate F-35 and NETRA AWACS , both nations will work on it , when you buy any fighter jet it's not just a fighter jet you buy plenty of missiles , integration with other platforms.

Same with the Chinese AWACS and J-20. It takes years to iron out all the kinks. The Netra is integrated with the rest of the Indian air force, so making change to it involving changing many existing systems, not a simple task. Also there are inherent limitations to how much you can integrate two systems that never work with each other. The F-22 is an example, the F-35 has much better avionics, notably data link and distributed EOTS. They eventually, with great effort, added data link to the F-22 like the F-35, but the distributed EOTS was not possible due to the space limitation of the F-22. As is, the F-22 will retire in 2030 without distributed EOTS. This is between two U.S. made systems.

As long as these systems are there, U.S. will not sell F-35 as the Russians can gain detail information about F-35 stealth profile. Removing the S-400 will not only sour relationship with Russia, which supply India with the bulk of the weapons, it would also leave India without G2A defense. The Patriots are not as capable and we have a very small production capability. Most of it are used up in Ukraine and Israel.

LOL Su-57 is for air shows, recruitement and national pride, not for combat. How many Su-57 have been produced? A dozen, at most? They will not be risked in combat and be exposed as the rest of Russian military hardware as been exposed as inferior to western equivalents. But I don't think India has the $$ to buy and maintain F-35 either, I don't think it will ever happen. BUt.. I doubt they'll be looking to Russian hardware after seeing it all fail in Ukraine. F-16, which would likely happen depending on the training and experience of the pilots. I doubt Russia will ever make a foreign sale of Su-57, they don't even have the capacity to get an assembly line going.
