I still remember when i was young my dad drove me and my siblings and my mum to the swimming pools. They was fighting about something and it got to the point where my dad chased my mum around the car trying to kill her. And this was in daylight so everyone saw we had to wait at the front while they called police and my dad took off. Its a hard thing and on some level you are fighting small battles for the rest of your life. But by talking to people, learning strategies of how to cope and being self reflective (honest) it becomes easier to deal with (but its always there).
