It seems the subtitles for this scene are incorrect as:
1) Amtrak doesn't run to Oregon, IL (which is due west of Aurora, IL on the CB&Q). After Aurora, Amtrak runs southwest to Galesburg and ultimately San Francisco as part of the California Zephyr route.
2) This looks like a normal Amtrak train with nothing unusual regarding locomotives and the Superliners.
