If the wait staff interrupted me during a meal, I would just leave.
I don't blame ya!
Cutlery will only be called silverware in the UK. When it is actually made of silver.
I couldn’t get a proper vegetarian meal in the USA I had to go to Walmart and cook my own food back at the Vila in Orlando
It's hard!
The main reason they will keep filling your glass at buffets is because the liquid fills you up so you eat less.
Makes sense lol
There's that much influence from the states, that we would probably understand any words you used
Your portion sizes are probably getting smaller cos of 'shrinkflation'. I see it a lot on grocery shopping. Example, I'd get home & notice there are only 10 pieces in the bag, when there were 12, week prior. Ah, but we have not raised the price! We aim to keep prices down!
Definitely British food, but I do like American food especially prime rib.
Tasty!!!
Straight off. We DON'T get water on the table when you sit down .
Why don't American bosses pay their staff REAL wages so they don't have to rely on tips to live !?
Gordon Ramsey is Scottish lol 😂
Where was Gordon Ramsay mentioned?
@@vtbn53 he wasn’t it’s lost in the pond while living in America discussing about British food and since Gordon Ramsay is also well known in America and uk and they are talking about food just informing the American friend that not everything that is out the uk is English that the best food all about England that scotland doesn’t receive the recognition it truly deserves.
What do you think British means?? 😂
@@dib000 English
@@dib000 since our American friends already mentioned on several occasions to believe scotland is in England ( it is not and a separate country all together ). He had another video stating that this is the portions they serve in England pointing to haggis Neeps and tatties that’s clearly a Scottish dish not English. .. he hasn’t bothered to actually acknowledge the difference between England 🏴 scotland 🏴 or wales 🏴
I’m giving you a thumbs up because I like you, but I can’t watch this bloke because some of the things he says in his videos on the UK are ridiculous and inaccurate. Sorry 😔
I quite like him, he is constantly sarcastic, though i understand that's not everyone's cup of tea. I'd be genuinely interested to know what you find ridiculous and innacurate?
@@cjstato To be honest, I can’t remember now because I stopped watching his channel a couple of years ago. I’d have to watch him again and I don’t think I could bear it. It’s not the sarcasm though - as a Brit, I’m inured to it.
@cjstato I think he's fun but I've disagreed with things he's said before as well. It might just be we're in different areas of England..
Not in this video but for example he's said before that all pubs (or at least implied) all close at 11pm
Or in this video the mention and picture of 'curry based Chinese' to me seems misleading because as far as I'm aware curry is usually around just 2% of the menu of a Chinese takeaway.
@@Seedated42 Yeah that one didn't ring true for me either, I have eaten my fair share of Chinese and the British version is more or less the same as we have here in Oz, it's certainly NOT curry based.
I'm from the UK and at least half of a Chinese takeaway menu is curry based.
I can’t stand this guy 😣sorry wownt watch this vid, but keep on going as you will figure out what people like and don’t.
