Thanks for you help! Great video! The configuration of 1-D Lookup Table is In Table and Breakpoints: Number of table dimenssions: 1 Data specification: Table and breakpoints Table Data: Ct Breakpoints specification: Explicit Values Breakpoints 1: tab_lambda In Data Types: Table Data: Inherit: Inherit from 'Table Data' Breakpoints 1: Inherit: Inherit from 'Breakpoints Data' The rest of configuration is the same of default block.
Mr. Abad, thank you very much for your demonstration and incredibly useful material, you have greatly helped me with these video lessons! As for fellow students like myself i'd like to point out one possible issue that you may encounter during the modelling process of GSC. When adding a DC link to connect your GSC with RSC make sure that a capacitor is actually connected to the circuit as is shown at 3:50 . Otherwise your control loops won't work and you'll have massive overshoot of voltages and currents, i'm talking 10 to the power of 30 overshoots. And MatLab won't warn you about the missing connection.
Thank you! Glad to see that this material can be useful for you. It is true what you point out! Perhaps I am showing things too simple. In reality, naturally, we can do small errors connecting blocks, choosing parameters, setting gains, etc… that will make the whole system work wrongly. In my opinion, the subsequent BIG CHALLENGE is to be able to find out the errors by oneself, only with the information given by the simulation results: By analyzing the performance and behavior of all the variables of the system. That will really make to understand deeply and actually the concepts. The tutorial is just one more tool or vehicle.
Thank you very much dear Abad i am very thankful for this work which is a very helpful for all student to understand how the WT work, again thank you very much. I have to ask you about if you can make a test under the fault grid conditions.... Thank you.
Good effort Mr. Abad. Yet, more elaboration is required when you interpret the results. During Braking, Motoring, power flow during Sub-Synch & Super-Synch in Generation mode.
Amazing video!, but I have just a question; I know that the B2B converter is bidirectional, but what about the controls the GSC and the RSC are bidirectional too? I don´t understand that concept, I mean, if the energy flows into the generator the control laws works, but, if the current flows into the grid? what happened there?. Thank you a lot!
Hello Mr. Abad, I think the rotor transformer should be placed between the GSC and the grid (voltae source) not between the RSC and the rotor windings.
Thank you for your interest But the rotor quantities are transferred to stator referred values during the RSC implementation, then they are transferred again to rotor referred values when they are applied on the rotor terminals so I think this transformer is not necessary.
hello sir..first of all thanx alot for this video..kindly explain it how Vbus is convert into Pg after we set P*smax upper and -P*smax lower limit in discrete integrator....
I Error in 'model/Asynchronous Machine SI Units': Initialization commands cannot be evaluated. Caused by: Index exceeds array bounds.I got the error while doing Simulink
thanks a lot for your explanation i did the system step by step but the actual vbus became zere with me Idont know why and I can't discover my error can you help me to find my error
Hello sir, thank you for your help with this series of videos they have been great to learn from. However I have some issues after implementing the wind model part. After adding this section my speed just continues to increase exponentially to over 3000 instead of staying below 200?

Mr. Abad, thanks for your tutorial. It's very helpful. I'm stuck when I use the DTC for rotor side converter. Can you do a tutorial for it. Thank you!
My works too. Used inplix handbooks and build it with no problems.
Wonderful, how we can detect the voltage Dip automatically? could you please refer us to a reference analyzed this issue :)

Hello, I would like to know what is the function of the PI block and the compensation block
Great job

it's the same error for me, i can't find the mistake. i'll be so gratiful if there anotherone who can help me
can anyone help me with the startup so that Vbus doesn't go to 3000volts
please do a tutorial for HVDC system with IGBT :D thanks
I’m sorry but I have not experience enough with HVDC systems. Thank you anyway for your suggestion!

Your models are inconsistent. For instance, in some of your relations, you use the fundamental frequency as 50 Hz. While in others, you use 60 Hz.
