Great job! The finished machine looks stunning. I own a red Bandit 600N, and I’m absolutely amazed by the transformation.
Fantastic. The time and effort you have put into this build has definitely paid off. That is one sweet looking Bandit. Might even have a go at that myself with mine👌👈
Thanks a lot! If you have any questions feel free to ask me!
@@Timdb1999 Hey i am probably gonna buy one of those.
it has been sitting for some years and some stuff needs to be changed. The front fork is leaking, can i just replace the seals or do i have to buy new forks ? And are the parts expensive for this bike ? Its a bit rusty and i dont know if it runs but i can have it for like 500 bucks. First owned and only 20k kilometers run? What you think ?
@@Bluuzilla bike parts in general are expensive, but the prices of parts for the bandit are on the lower side of the spectrum. If the forks are in good condition you can just replace the seals, they don’t cost a lot and it is a pretty straight forward job. There are lots of tutorials on youtube on how to do it. Over all it is a very reliable bike so I think it is worth it😁
Absolute work of art, good job man
Thanks!!
Great build. 👍. I did a bandit 600 build about the same time. I went the scrambler route but did similar frame mods with pod filters. I love the bandit!
Awesome, sounds like a cool project as well!
Very cool transformation!
Thanks!!
Beautiful, just beautiful...looks slick
Thanks!
Well done. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Wow, 😮 great job !!! She looks so beautiful
Thanks a lot!
This looks beautiful buddy
Awesome, i had one bandit 600 in indonesia
Great job. I think they are nice looking bikes to start with though. If it would have been me, I would have tried to find one a little more ragged out.
It was such a great bike...
Great work
Ziet er goed uit! Heel gaaf
Thanks!
Leuk filmpje Tim! Mooi geworden
Lekker bezig Tim. Die Bondt bike is erg gaaf geworden. Een hoop " veilige " kilometers toegewenst.
WOW!!! Nice build! Congratulations on a wonderful project
Thanks!
@@Timdb1999 how many days or weeks may i ask ? 🙏🏼
It became a long term project since I also had drivinglessons simultaneously. In total I worked on it for 1,5 year of which like half a year almost every evening.
Nice job! 👍
Thanks!
Art ❤
Awesome work! I have the same bike but not that pretty. Really good job!
Thanks!
Hi Great job! I also own a bandit and want to transform it in to a cafe racer. How did you managed the problem with the battery?... The space problem I don't know where I should but it.
Bravo!!
Nice....
Thanks for this video it’s helped me immeasurably. Just about to cut the frame and add the loop. Can I ask did you upgrade the electric system or stick with the factory
Very glad to hear! I kept the electrical system factory😄
Did you fabricate the seat rail or buy it? Looks amazing!
@Tim de Bondt Nice project, I alsow have ccusto! how did you set the carburettors under the cone filters? What nozzles did you install?
Looks amazing! Is that a custom wiring loom? Or an old one with led adaptors?
This is just the old one with led adaptors
Super Video!! Danke
Heel erg dik geworden man.
Mooi
🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
Dude! Im really hoping you can help because ive just bought a 600 and yours has inspired me to go cafe racer, how did you set up the clipons / drop the top yoke?
If you add me on insta (@timdbondt) I can send you some pics
Great build, where is the seat from? I’ve got a 1200 I’m after doing something similar to
Thanks! The seat is custom, I created the base using glassfiber and epoxy and glued and formed the foam my self. The upholstery was done by a professional.
Where did you buy all the new stuff for on you’re bike? Want to do the same project 👊🏻
what are u using to clean the exhaust/cylinder ?
I just used regular stainless steel polish
What kind of seat is this
Hi thank you for this video. The bike is beautiful.
I have the same project with a bandit 1200.
I want to do a back hoop like you.
Can you give me more detail on your job please.
Thank you
Thanks! I used a hoop that is 210 mm on the inside. I bought the hoop with the cut for the rear lighting already made. This is the kit I used:
www.caferacerwebshop.com/nl/1-led-verlichting-hoop-kit-od-210mm.html
Hi looks great , what size did you get for the round loop at the back , also does the mushroom heads effect now it runs ?
Hi thanks! The hoop is 210mm on the inside. I had some trouble synchronizing the carbs but other than that I haven’t had trouble with the mushroom heads.
Great, thanks , do you definitely need to tune the carbs before you put the mushroom heads on ?
Yeah I think that would make it a lot easier. Hard to say cuz I had to limit it to 35kw. But it does run very nice.
Great thanks, I’ll try it & see how I get on , any other tips ?
@@Dylan_Walsh If you’re looking into changing the seat for something different, keep in mind that the alignment with the tank is a bit odd. This made making a custom seat somewhat hard. But other than that it was a pretty straightforward build!
mooi
What exhaust did you use?
Hi what back end did u use
Can you tell me where you got your handle bars please ?
Yeah this is the link www.caferacerwebshop.com/nl/22mm-verstelbare-clipons-cnc-zwart.html
how muche it cost ?
Hi tell me how long it took you to do everything?
In total I worked on it for about 1,5 years. The first half year I worked on it daily, after that I only worked on it every now and then since I still had to get my licence.
Very, very nice bike. Bro, where is the battery?
Thanks!, the batteries are underneath the seat. I used two 6 volt 12 Ah batteries in series to get a thinner package. They are about 55mm high so they fit easily under the seat.
@@Timdb1999 can you send me more pictures and vids with the bike on facebook or whats'app, please?
Yeah if you hit me up on facebook i can send you some more details
@@Timdb1999 what's you name on facebook acount? I don't find you. What profile picture have? Thank you!

Where do you put the battery ?
I have put two 6v batteries in series underneith the seat.
Mooie uitgebalanceerde Cafe Racer Tim, kun je me vertellen welke sproeierbezetting je hebt gebruikt?
Dankjewel!
Hey!
Where did you buy the speedometer and headlight?
Hi! These are the links to the webshop I got them from

@@Timdb1999 Thank you! Possibly using them for my own build.
Nice! What bike are you working on?
@@Timdb1999 I'm looking to buy a 2002 GSF600. Not making a cafe racer, but just some minor modding.
@@a.germane2114 awesome! Good luck😄
What front end did you use ?
Just the stock bandit front end
After to see all this destroyed bike and the original keep looking the best. The people and the trends... 🤦🏻♂️
S U P E R . . .
Whad a fudge
My opinion original look is best
There’s ofcourse no accounting for taste, I’m glad with how mine turned out😁
Ok, buy a original
open expose frame was better

Absolutely.
legal in germany
So called "cafe racers" should go the same way as hipsters, Male top knots and pumpkin spice latte.
That thing will never run right because pod filters on the 600s are impossible to time correctly.
What clocks did you put on it? Looking to swap mine for something like that
I used a Daytona Velona 80mm

You turned a great motorcycle into a piece of hipster junk. 😂
how is this even allowed xDDDD
Good job!!!! do you have Instagram or Facebook for see another photo of your cafe racer please. I have the same project and in this vidéo we dont see thé details and a view from afar of the motorcycle
Thanks! If you dm me on @timdbondt on instagram I can send you some more detailed pictures of the build!
