Galaxy Tab S9/S9+/Ultra: Forgot Password? Let's Factory Reset!

If your password/pin/pattern does not work or you forgot it on your Samsung Galaxy Tablet S9 (same for Tab S9+. & Tab S9 Ultra) then i show you how to factory reset so you can have a clean slate and make a new password. Don't Forget with a factory reset you will lose all your personal data, docs, photos, vids, etc so if you have anything important hopefully you have it backed up. Good Luck!

Thank you so much, it took few tries but it worked after all. The rest menu disappeared fast, you will need to hold on the off and the up buttons for longer to let the rest menu stay on.

Thank you for this video. I have a feeling without this I'd have to bring it into a service center and be charged $100 to do the same thing.
Tip for some people that are having trouble in the comments. The initial hold of the power/volume down buttons may not need as long as shown in the video. Just go until the screen goes black before switching to the power/volume up buttons.

Yes!! Before u can do without computer but now u need plug into computer and computer must be on!

Got some help from another comment, just hold down the power and volume down button until the screen goes blank, yours might not need 20 seconds, mine only needed 6 to 7 seconds until the screen went blank, and then switch to the volume up button

Do you mean your email or Samsung account? Or just unlocking the screen? Regarding unlocking the screen you just need to follow steps in this video, and you will be able to set a new PIN code.

The first hold of the power/volume down buttons may not be as long as it takes in the video. On mine, it was probably closer to 7-10 seconds (until the screen goes black) then before it starts rebooting, you have to let go and switch to holding the power and volume up buttons.

It works, need to be plugged up to power, doesnt need to be laptop. Power + vol Down for about 21 seconds, then power + vol up. The rest is self explanatory when the menu shows up.
