But we sold it due to my health but we decided about a month ago to sell our house. And do full time camper living I just can't take care of our place like I use to like I want to. We watch all the episodes. Once we found your channel we went back and caught up. We have the exact same setup. 2018 2600RB and 2021 Ram 1500 Diesel. Just replaced our toilet after 3 breaks. Went with the bigger one and it fit but just barely. Our toilet roll is on the drawer. 😁
hahahaha!!! Nice work on the music for the swirl!! Quick question as I have replaced a residential toilet before, but never an RV toilet. Is there any kind of wax ring that gets used as a seal on the bottom of the toilet?
A tip for keeping the odors from coming out while the toilet it off, you can do what's called rag-in-a-bag, which is, as the name implies, a rag (or more bags, anything soft really) inside a grocery bag stuffed into the hole. Very useful if you need the toilet off for more than the time it takes to lift off the old one and set on the new one. It's pretty common in household plumbing for temporarily stopping sewer lines. Once you're done you just throw the nasty bag away.
Always enjoy your videos. Where were you guys camping at in this video? My wife and I live in NC but I work in Greenville SC. Lots of good restaurants in the Greenville area. I’m only 25 or so miles from Camping World in Hendersonville. There in one in Spartanburg also but I never shop at any of their locations! I detest them. I always deal with Sonny’s RV in Duncan SC or order whatever I need online. If Sonny’s is booked up, I will go with a mobile Tech. We have a GD 303RLS 5th wheel and tow with a Ford F-350 SRW Lariat. Happy RVing and hopefully we will cross paths one day on the RV trail. 🏖

You appear to have plenty of room for the 320. I just installed one with the sprayer in my 5th wheel. So nice. I don’t think you’ll ever have to change that 310 out again. Quality product for sure.
How did the single air conditioner hold up to this summers blazing heat? Are you able to add another air conditioner if you wanted to on your RV? I'm considering buying one but live in TX and it is brutal here in the summer.
We’re heading to our last Art Show of the Spring on Saturday. With the HGTV show airing it’s made our Etsy shop a little bit crazy the last few weeks. But we plan on hooking up the camper and heading out soon, just as soon as we get the new brakes and rotors on the truck.
I can't imagine how busy you are after being on HGTV (that's still just so cool!!) but it's well deserved! I'm sure you are ready for a fun trip, hopefully the brake work goes smoothly 😁

Thanks, Dan! I guess I should've covered that more. They have a rubber seal at the base of them, so they're built similar to a wax one. I'm not sure I've actually heard of that place. I'll have to look it up!
Last year we traded our toy hauler for a GD 5th wheel and GD Imagine I had the dealer throw in Model 310s in both RVs before we ever took delivery. We had it in the toy hauler and loved it. Highly recommend it for the flushing improvement. Enjoy!
1. I had that same screaming goat on my desk at school. My high schoolers loved it. I pressed it anytime one of them said something too stupid for me to adequately process. It always got a huge laugh. 2. Our fulltime date is set (four long but fast years until we can go) and we are deep into the research part right now. Which leads to my question- if you had to do it all over again, would you have upgraded to this Dometic before you even set out, or would you have waited until the first toilet "crapped out"? (I'll press the goat on your behalf for that one.😆)

I would rather people spend that money on an awesome campground or a good membership to something like Harvest Hosts or something. Just my honest thoughts! But I do think this toilet is 🏆
Well Steph, no camping this year as we are taking a few weeks to do a bucket list vacation out west to Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming and Idaho. Next year tho, we will crush it. For Mike, question around the install - is the wax ring not needed for RV toilets like those at our homes? Thanks guys. That sounds like a great trip! The toilet has a rubber ring on the bottom of it that works fairly similar to a residential one. It was pre-installed on the bottom. And maybe you're right on the tp holder! 😂

I Swapped the Dometic out of our Alpha Wolf into out Imagine, the Thetford with the little water thing on the back is kinda a joke. dont get me wrong Thetford makes some nice stuff, but toilets are not one of them

We replaced the Thetford with Dometic and are extremely satisfied with the change. I love the swirl flush with the Dometic.

Our rig really needs a second AC for the hottest days. During ~100° temps, the inside struggles to get below 78°
While you have the water line disconnected would be a good time to add a water shut-off valve to the line... Just sayin'. ;)

Camping world is a horrible company all around. I avoid them at all costs after dealing with them once looking at trailers.

Well Steph, no camping this year as we are taking a few weeks to do a bucket list vacation out west to Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming and Idaho. Next year tho, we will crush it. For Mike, question around the install - is the wax ring not needed for RV toilets like those at our homes? Thanks guys. Also, should’ve took my suggestion on hanging that TP holder inside cabinet door to save your knees…lol
That sounds like a great trip! The toilet has a rubber ring on the bottom of it that works fairly similar to a residential one. It was pre-installed on the bottom. And maybe you're right on the tp holder! 😂

T Bolts AKA Closet Bolts, AKA Water Closet Bolts. Love this video, been there done that home and RV so many times, Great choice in Toilet.. I Swapped the Dometic out of our Alpha Wolf into out Imagine, the Thetford with the little water thing on the back is kinda a joke. dont get me wrong Thetford makes some nice stuff, but toilets are not one of them
