These people are not hating on you they are trying to protect you. I got blasted by a kickback doing cross-cuts like you are, luckily my hands were nowhere near the blade but it did hit me right near the jibbleys. Use a miter saw for those cuts it’s MUCH safer!
Don't use the fence when making those cross cuts the cut off pieces might get pinched by the wall and the blade then shoot out and hurt you. Just trying to Lookout for anyone thinking of doing this with no experience or little experience.
please support and guide the cut piece, not the outside. it may seem scarier, but it’s much safer practice. get a variety of different push blocks, sticks, etc. to always have the right tool to support the type of cut you’re making. and try to familiarize yourself with making and utilizing different jigs to support the work piece. i’m sorry to say it, but this video could honestly be used as an example of what NOT to do when using a table saw.
I learned the hard way about cross cutting on a table saw. Was doing just what she's doing and it blew back and hit me in the center of my chest. Felt like I was kicked, had a big ol bruise and scrapes, never again.
Please use dust extractor and learn how to use the saw properly kickback will be happening sooner or later with that cross cut method you're using. All the best.
please take this video off. At least 2 big mistakes you did. 1. Never put loose cut against stop guard. 2. A mitre gauge need to use in some case but not hand.
Youre gonna get seriously hurt using a table saw like you are. Please look up how to properly do crosscuts and ripcuts. Also consider making a crosscut sled, many great videos on how to do so on youtube.
i dont find it attractive when woman do HEAVY & BRUTAL manly work but when it comes to some light carpentry work, there is something elegant about a woman with the confidence to use a table saw 🤗🤗🤗. She needs better safety training but again her confidence is through the roof! 🤓
Hi, I don't have to repeat why almost everything about how you're using this machine is dangerous, but at the very least you should take down this video for legal reasons. if anyone copies you and gets hurt or damages anything, they might be able to sue you.
Never. Cross. Cut. Using. The. Fence.
Very dangerous
Or freehanding a crosscut !!!
Yeah pucker factor was definitely at play for this whole clip
I agree, it will bind and kick back.

You could also use a miter gauge or crosscut sled. Those make it safer without having to spend hundreds of dollars on a new tool.
I like how she had enough sense to wear breathing protection but not enough to use a table saw properly.

What do people mean by the fence?
Look at her right side where the wood touches that piece of metal that's the fence
Whatever I have learnt about using table saw, is shown somewhat wrong here.. not a great video to share
Which dewalt is this?
Please take the time to learn how to use a table saw safely. Continuing to use it this way will for sure result in an injury down the road.
Let wider side be on the fence side
Use a miter gauge, when making cross cuts.
Do you still have all of your fingers?
Is that a 60v cordless 8 1/4 ?
should never cross cut against the fence like that with narrow pieces. use a block against the fence to offset, or better yet use the miter gauge.
Your suppose to cross cut with a miter gauge and riving knife

I wear a mask when doing demo or concrete grinding sometimes leaf blowing things like that but cutting wood is dramatic
Anyone else jump back when seeing the crosscuts?
Be careful. Never use fence with crosscutting.
its been thirty years since i did any woodworking and I instantly felt there was a lot wrong with the way you cut wood.
Use eye protection for when the board flies in your face or wood chips. Wear ear protection to protect your hearing.
Please use dust extractor and learn how to use the saw properly kickback will be happening sooner or later with that cross cut method you're using.

Wow please don’t share this video. Someone is about to lose a finger
Very dangerous
Oh boy those diy people are going to get f up smh 🤦♂️
Hope you know how to do things with less than 5 fingers in each hand…..you might be losing some if you keep like this.
I'd sooner hook a vacuum up to the saw than wear that mask to make cuts.
It’s a dewalt table, on the fence, you have another fence that flips in order to make longer cuts. It’s very handy, you should use it.
The loose clothing is just begging to be caught in the spinning blade.
So many wrong moves going on here.
Please be careful you will hurt yourself 🙏
Dont do it this way please !
please stop before you hurt yourself 🤦
Youre gonna get seriously hurt using a table saw like you are.
Please look up how to properly do crosscuts and ripcuts. Also consider making a crosscut sled, many great videos on how to do so on youtube.
