- There are so many lists around relating to immigration laws we thought it will be useful to go over which lists are used for the 489 and 491 visas and which one suits your circumstances.

We have been waiting for more than 2 years without any updates

there are only less than 1400 applicants and also it’s not available anymore

quick question if we go for 491 VISA, when we lodge our EOI, are we free to choose which state we want to stay (cause in the EOI, we chose the state we want)? or it depeneds on the outcome of the invite or sponsorship?

Hi Australian Immigration Law Services, I think you have misunderstood the information on DHA website. Just wondering if you've made any clarification with the department about your claim that this new list does not apply to existing 489 visa holders? Please clarify. TIA
Those who had their 489 visas granted before 16th November 2019 have to use the list at the time their visas were granted. Those afterwards can use the new list. Our video is quite clear and correct

If we move to interstate on 491 visa and in future if government set rules we cant move interstate in future so we are impacted or old law applies to us?
No Saroj it does not work that way, you will be fine with your current list
I do not see any differences in the list of arias in previous and the last document. all the same
They are different but you have to look closely to find it. However it is a good idea for us to publish a decription of what are the dirreences between them. Thanks for the comment Alex

Hi Karl, thanks again for your video. As you are always concern about 489 visa I request you openly that can you help us to request DHA process our visa? We need your service in anyway, if it is possible. Please help us to get visa. There are so many 489 applicants who are interested to get help from you in this regard.

Karl, I have recently moved to postcode 4211 in Qld, after fulfilling my 489 obligations in S Australia. The thing I the postcode is so small, and I'm a nurse, so have been working agency all around the area. The agency address is based in regional, and I am employed by the agency, but do go out into the community, which isn't always regional. Where do I stand, am I doing something illegal, and will my visa be cancelled, as I am still awaiting 887.

Hi Karl. I had applied for a 491 visa with my partner. When I applied for that visa I was on 485 and my partner was also on 485 visa but she was stucked overseas due to Pandemics. Due to that she did not get BVA. Now she got a visit visa and she is onshore can I get BVA for her as well? Thanks

I got my visa after 16 November 2019 with the old description and old post codes which talks about before one's only not the after grant date.
Visa grant date is Feb 2020
So according to the New postcodes lists which is enforced after 16th November so can I move to Perth?
And why they have provided the old list when the new list was already in place then?
It's confusing as I'm planning to change the state very soon.

@@ailsaustralia hi karl, on the website and the lists that you provided. there is no table or information that mentions about the 489 visa granted after November 16 2019 before march 5 2022. it talks about the 189, 190, 491, 485 but not about the visa 489. The list of the regional postcodes that are mentioned in the website that you are referring to us says that, those postcodes are applicable only for those whose visa were granted or applied their visa on or after 20 January 2021 and, nothing has been said particularly about 489 visa. 489 is not mentioned at all in that page so, could you clarify it a bit more so that we can have a better understanding about them. I am also on 489 visa granted on jan 2020 and expires on jan 2024 and have already applied 887 visa so, just wanted to get the sure and certain list of the qld postcodes where I can move according to my visa grant letter. I have 8539 condition only so, it would be really very much helpful if I could get the list of postcodes in QLD where I can move freely and wait for my 887 visa. please help me as well. Thank you so much.

Ans I have one more option as well for 494, can I apply for that as well?
Third, I am working with same employer from past 3.5 years as a cook so can I apply for 186 visa ?

How do Australia immigration program consider international graduates who studied within the skilled occupation list field of study but have physical disability
Disability is not an issue to grant visa except if their is a significant cost to the community due to ongoing support services. Thanks for watching

Yes they have staff only to process 491 but lame excuses for 489
1350 application pending since july 2019.

Hi Kamaldeep, Yes you can live anywhere in the given postcodes in the new list. This agent has misunderstood the information and what he is saying is totally wrong. You cannot live some postcode in QLD those are mentioned in BOLD letters.

I would like to clear my confusion.
I have got my 485 visa extended until 30 Sep. 2022. Will I be able to apply for 485 visa extension on July 2022 for next 2 years?
Yes I have met both points on the eligibility but I studied in Melbourne CBD as it says -
"In normal circumstances, applicants can only be granted one Temporary Graduate visa, and a further visa is only available on the basis of regional work and study."

Yes from 1st of July applications will be open but unless you are in a hurry best to wait till mid septmeber to apply Safai.
