    To Pastor Josh Howerton, 🙋‍♂️
    I kindly request that you consider delivering a sermon on the topic of abstaining from pork, supported by biblical evidence. I've been trying to explain this to my friends, but I don't have enough knowledge on the subject. I truly appreciate your teaching style and would be grateful for your help. 🙏
    Thank you,
    Ronit (India)

    If you’ve believed on Jesus Christ, that he is God in the flesh, God the Son, who died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, then the Bible says you are saved.

      No it doesn't. He that believes and is Baptized shall be saved. He that believes not shall be damed.
      Baptism is Water in Jesus name and Spirit with evidence of tongues. Living a Holy life.

      We need to make Him Lord, surrender our lives to Him, walk with him.

      @@debbiebramwell Jesus is Lord, I don’t make him anything. You don’t surrender your life to Christ, he gave his life for us. I don’t need to walk with Christ to be saved, I just need to believe on him alone.

      @@rogerclyde2720 what evidence do you have?

    • @debbiebramwell
      @debbiebramwell 6 месяцев назад

      @ReligiouslyIncorrect many people go to church, say a sinners prayer, and are not saved. We are saved by grace, but if we truly surrendered our life to him, there will be change. Yes, we do need to deny self and surrender to Him.
      We do need to walk humbly with Him. You will see scripture after scripture on obedience. You can't believe then go do whatever you want. Lol It's more than words, it's action. We can't just read the word but do what it says.

    The true house of God is open to all sinners no matter how you may appear. However, once you believe in the sanctity of Christ's sacrifice and are saved by God's Grace, your soul's nature should begin to change as you read, study the Bible, fellowship and attend church. The transformation involves following those attributes, principles, teachings, and commandments that bring honor to Jesus name and the Father God in heaven. This is accomplished through the words and terminologies we speak, the decorum we display, our character and behavior, moral values, the integrity we possess, our manners and politeness we express, and yes, by the way we dress modestly. Once we are saved, our new nature should no longer be concerned with narcissistic worldly behavior, rather, being presentable, well groomed, neat, clean, hygienic and tidy should take precedence. Wearing tight clothing for men or women, showing female cleavage, showing legs above the knee, outline of private parts, and wearing heavy makeup, flashy false eyelashes and anything motivated by attention seeking behavior, does not shed the best light on Christianity or that individual. Any form fitting attire worn by believers, which causes brothers and sisters in Christ to lust, stumble and fall, and not focus on the sermon and worshipping of God, while in his sanctuary, or anywhere for that matter, does not contribute to the edification of others, or the glorification of Christ. As a Christian believer cultivates their faith, the past provocative ways of dressing, use of profanity and crude behavior and mannerisms should dwindle and cease. Serve humankind's Lord and Savior, and don't be concerned with impressing others with the things you have, or by the way you look. Those are all superficial in the eyes of God. Instead, build an intimate faithfulness and devotion to the Holy Father through his son Jesus Christ the Messiah. When people focus on being cool, hip and trendy, they place that desire above the desire to be more Christ-like in their belief and faith.

  • @GerasimosCopoulos

    No … Peter didn’t indicate that Simon was in a state of damnation. The fact that Simon is immediately repentant is sort of proof of that, … obviously?

    • @GerasimosCopoulos
      @GerasimosCopoulos 6 месяцев назад

      He was indicating that Simon had mortally sinned but there’s no indication that God unilaterally sends every Christian who dies in a state of sin to go to Hell. God knows the heart.

    • @GerasimosCopoulos

      For the record … the presumed ending of the Parable of the Prodigal Son - wait, did you just say ‘race traitors’? - was never that the older Son somehow remains bitter and unsaved. Why would you assume that he doesn’t accept his Father’s perfect lesson?

    • @GerasimosCopoulos
      @GerasimosCopoulos 6 месяцев назад

      No, a den of sin is not the ‘fellowship’ of repentant Christians

    Quran (only scripture with 100% accuracy/preservation) says Allah is “Al-Ahad”(one/indivisible).Philosophically, It is impossible for 3 distinct perfections to exist simultaneously. Father (Perfection 1/distinct1) =Son (Perfection 2/distinct2)=idolatry.This is due to addition of two extra perfections that are Co-equal/Co-eternal&distinct with Allah(the most Exalted). Not just the Quran, but also the old/New Testament textually establish tauheed(monotheism). So, then why believe in trinity and associate two imaginary parts to Allah(one/indivisible/Self-Sufficient/All-Loving)? How could your love/worship be undivided/exclusive for Allah(the most Exalted) when there are two other equally unique/perfect entities to adore? The verses of bible used by trinitarians are extremely vague and require hard interpretation to extract the understanding that Father/Son/Holy Ghost are Co-equal/Co-Eternal&distinct.
