- My 3rd video upload. So far so good! The iPod Touch camera seems to work pretty good, but I'll definitely look into another video camera in the very near future. Here is the Michael Jackson Beat It version from the Hot Toys 10th Anniversary Exhibition in Tokyo.

@Bhritman -No problem! Glad you enjoyed the video. It's fun sharing on RUclips and I'm glad to finally have figure out how to upload videos, etc. Anyways, I got it for cost plus shipping which was 18,000 yen or around $220 as the yen is stronger than the dollar these days. Maybe another $40 for shipping, so around $260 roughly.
@McNeely977- Thanks man! Just sitting here at home a bit sick which is why my voice seems scratchy. Just thought I'd try to upload some videos to RUclips for a change as I've been wanting to for some time. Not as hard as I feared it would be. The ease of the iPod Touch camera helps too! :-)

@johnnyrinsma - Well, the actual figure is not numbered as far as I know, but the pieces from the actual Tokyo Exhibition were numbered. This was reflected on the boxes of each piece and the certificate that came with each sold at the show.

@KooldaKat I had to preorder this, it's just a great looking figure. He's still availible on Sideshow for preorder as well. Seeing how cool looking this head sculpt is and being that Beat It was out in the same era as Billie Jean, it would be great to see how potientally great that figure would turn out to be.

@TheAlbanianNinja He was originally very hard to get and you could only get him from the Tokyo show, but now he's available through Sideshow Collectibles, so check out their website if you're interested to order one. He's about $225 before shipping, so he's not cheap. There's also ebay...
@Bellic25 I think you can still find them on ebay for about $300. I think I paid under $200, but that was coming directly from the show which is long finished now.
@bashbro1able - I believe the cheapest is the Thriller version which you can probably find for under $150. The rest will be closer to $300 with the Billie Jean version going for crazy money!

@LMG2vids I believe this year is the 10th Anniversary for the Hot Toys company. I do have more MJ figures by Hot Toys - the Bad, Thriller, but missing the History Tour Billie Jean figure. I think the Thriller version is the cheapest and you have an extra outfit to make a zombie MJ which is cool. I would recommend that version as a start.

@effu68- Well, I can only think of ebay right now unless you just happen to have some other connections. I just had a good friend in Japan pick these up for me as I knew he lived near the event and I requested he go see the show for me since I couldn't go. I'm just glad he made it and got these goodies for me.

@Maher890 There is no Captain EO version yet, but that would be awesome! I hope Hot Toys will someday produce that version. So far there is just the Bad, Beat It, Thriller, and Billie Jean version by Hot Toys.

@delfra70 Yeah, I got a good deal, especially since I was able to get him very early on a few days after the actual Anniversary show. Around that time, scalpers were getting around $400 for it I think, so getting him at the Sideshow price is still a great deal! Congrats in the pick up!

@Cerens0COD Your best bet for many of the long sold out figures is ebay. Just search under Hot Toys Michael Jackson. There's the Beat It MJ that I think Sideshow Collectibles is offering for a limited time now. Just check out Sideshow Collectibles online.
@MattakaMouse - Bro, Hot Toys is it when it comes to 1/6 scale collectibles! Ebay or Amazon are good sources, but there are also various Toy/ Comic shops that also sell them such as Big Bad Toy Store, Corner Store Comics, and Maybang. Just do some hunting online to find what you need! I like your Celeb Doll Collection! I have those Snoop figures as he was my classmate in High School. The Joan Jet looked cool too! But why Justin B??? Haha..!
@TheFlyingfish50 I love to collect, but I also believe in enjoying your collectibles to the fullest as well. It's a shame to just keep something as cool as this boxed away unopened! You only live once!

@emarae the Hot Toys website dosnt sell there stuff...Ive only found One place online in all north america that sells Hot Toys...and ebay people rip you off for big cash just for a toy. I think you can still get the Beat It version from Sideshow Collectibles, but the others are long sold out. Most likely you can get them on ebay for slightly to extremely inflated prices. They originally cost about $200, so anything more is their current going price or what something else thinks is their going price, so shop around carefully!

@MichaelJackson4ev806 I got mine for about $185 I think, which was great for an exclusive figure like this at the time I picked it up. I think you can get it from Sideshow Collectible's website now for about $225, so check it out!

I thought Michael Jackson was wearing a piano T-Shirt on Beat It.
Well the shoes separate from the body as they are a fixed piece with the feet "inside" the show with socks also fixed in place. The shoe/foot plugs into the bottom of the leg area at the ankes. If you wanted to separate just the shoes alone, then the answer is no, you can't do that.
@youliveyoudie -I'm not sure of the brand, but I first saw it used by my friend to display his Hot Toys collection. He has a video on RUclips also that you can view to get a better idea of the display. His user name is CheskaDudu & look for his 2010 Display video. We both got the shelf from a seller on ebay who is also not too far from where we both live, so we picked up the display ourselves and put it together. Check out item #190424168568 under ebay seller salvagerdali. It used to be $350.

This is long sold out as it came out in 2011, but you can still find it on the secondary market like ebay for a bit more. I haven't checked the current prices, but it originally was around $200 I think.
