"Once you make a choice, you make yourself choice-less" this made my day.
This was hard to hear, as I am a living epitome of the kind of mess he describes - including in my Isha/sadhana experience. Ouch.

Never studied about Ram in school, studied a lot about the Mughal emperors and British though.
I studied this story in sahitya book in my 8th standard titled as "Rama Rajya re Vichara".. I m from odisha.. Glad that they included this in text book.

Every time you choose or un-choose, you distort your course of destiny. A determined mind is the mind whose choice is permanent. Once you make a permanent choice, you become choiceless. Such a mind will allow destiny to flow the way you have chosen.

Once you have made a choice to attain divinity or meet the divine, you have to be choice-less with distortions of anger, ego etc...Such choice of permanent path to attain divinity or meet the divine is only possible by being choice-less.
Admiring SadhGuru's glowing face, I slowly began to notice a Trishul in his forehead, it became clear and clear. A beautiful Trishul and this clearly demonstrates the three main nadi, or energy channels (ida, pingala and shushmana) meet at the brow. No wonder he is glowing like that. Beautiful! When I noticed this Trishul, I had to look-up to understand what it meant. The Awakening of the chakras, the Kundalini! Beautiful! Jai Shri Raam!
That is because of lack of face muscle and fat. Those are not nadis, but veins. That 'trishul' is visible on my forehead too. Don't believe internet, those people just write whatever will get them hits.

Yes. But the story is equally valuable since the context is so relatable to normal householders who think they are pious and pure. This can be a scary wake up call to them if taken so. Otherwise they will keep making mistakes till they are born into lower life forms.
