I just want to say that I find it bizarre that you don't have waaaaaay more subscribers. I have blind bought five fragrances that you reviewed and your descriptions were all spot on. I plan on going back to comment on your videos to help give you a boost in the algorithm. Thanks for sharing your nose with us! 😄
Thank you! So much for making this video on vintage fragrances. I wore most of these fragrances in high school, and in my twenties. I hope you are feeling better.
My Mum used to wear an old fashioned one by Lentheric called Mystique. It got discontinued in the 80’s. Since then she’s worn Yourh Dew, Obsession, Opium & an Avon one called Imari. I think they must be similar.
I purchased Youth Dew and I love it soooooo much because of your recommendation. Thank you for the old school fragrances that never go out of style!!!!
I used to wear the Gloria Vanderbilt at tertiary (1998). I used to love love it, together with white diamonds. Funny how I've changed from liking such DNA. I started going to the likes of armor armor and hypnotic poison. And today I am hooked to ME ones, the only western I have now is Alien, la vie est Belle and catch me, otherwise it's lots of ME (middle east)....
Oh wow! I had a craving for Youth Dew last week and bought myself a bottle! I hadn’t tried it since the 80’s when I had a bottle of the bath oil..which is heavenly.
Love your classic Collection. I love youth dew and cinnabar all time , always have backups. Elizabeth arden red door , femme rochas and Dana tabu are all that I buy on backups because I fear 1 day they stop producing them❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome memories of all of these. I still use CK Obsession Men's and Women's versions....I layer them together !.....And Shalimar...is a forever for me.....and I have many bottles of it and the flankers !!! LOVE. Mugler Angel....forever as well. I layer Angel and A* Men together...amazing ! You missed one major one in your list...lol......YSL- Opium !!!!! A masterpiece !!!!
I love yoyr reviews I have bought many perfumes because of you. Splendor is one I have to have, it is beautiful and I have backup bottles of it. It really is signature worthy. And Vanderbuilt has a special place in my heart. It was the scent I wore for my wedding. Now days I mostly wear it to bed and it still drives my husband crazy when I wear it. Thank you for your reviews.
I remember so many of those, and it’s fun to see them again. I recently rediscovered Vanilla Fields and fell in love all over again. 😂 Nostalgia can be so much fun. Thanks Cee.
Hi Cee, Chanel No. 5 and Passion were my Mother´s favorite perfumes, so after she passed, those become in mine too, makes me remind her some how every time I smell them... Awesome review!!!
I had and still have so many of them!! Unfortunately Chanel N°5 and the OG Shalimar aren't my type of fragrance, though I want to try one of the Shalimar flankers. I've recently rebought Obsession, Angel, Casmir and Wish again. They're standard in my collection, even though the reformulations aren't as great as the original (going to try an Angel dupe of the real original soon). Youth Dew is on the Wishlist as it's too expensive at the moment (need to find an affordable one). I used Vanderbilt for years and years when I was in secondary school. The only ones I never had were the Jovan - not available in my country - the E Taylor Passion, ( I've tried other Taylors and they're all quite strong.) Or the Arden. Heard very good things about Red Door.
I can vividly remember receiving Gloria Vanderbuilt gift set ( Perfume, shower gel & lotion) for Christmas back when I was in high school. I would be a walking cloud of it and you could not tell me NOTHING! I was young, cute AND smelling great! I remember my Mom and grandmother wearing a few of the others...I think I still have a bottle of Casmir. Great review CEE. thank you for all you do!
🥰Hi, dear Cee, thank you sooo much for this heart-warming video❣I have a l l of these perfumes except "Splendor" and I love them a l l ❤! My passion is to photograph my frarances in the nature or in old town of Innsbruck, where I live, and also in the mountains or little waterfalls, some of my fragrances I have photographed at home or with art painting😊🥰Until now I have 9 Photobooks from my beloved perfumes and number 10 is startet😅😃! From the classic vintage perfumes I also love: Animale by Animale, Bijan by Bijan, Halston by Halston, White Diamonds and White Diamonds Night by Elizabeth Taylor, Tabu by Dana and so on..... 🙃😁I love Vintage, Niche , Middle Eastern, Designer but also Cheapies very well, and you inspire me with your charming reviews💖💖💖, thanks for that!!!
Thank you very much. With this Video you are remember me again at good old times. I will maybe buy one or two of them, which I have forgot. I love your Voice. Great Voice. 🥰
I have repurchased most of these recently. I also have and love the original Opium edp. It was a signature scent at one time. In the early 70s I used the Youth Dew bath oil as perfume. I have that and the actual perfume again. I have the Poisons, of course. I’m 74 years old so I was definitely around for these fragrances!😂 The only one I never tried was the Vanderbilt. Glad to hear you sounding better.
LOVE this list! These are the foundations of modern perfumery and I think many of them are due for a comeback. Telling my age, I'd also add Giorgio and Rive Gauche 🥰 Great job as always.
Great one! I find some of these lack some sweetness (they would be considered today masculine or unisex), so I tend to like 90's scents better than 70's-80's , and it's great to have affordable and beautiful scents, that tend to last pretty well😄
Great video, Cee! A trip down memory lane. When I smell these fragrances, it takes me right back. Amazing how our sense of smell triggers such memories! Have you thought about doing more of these types of videos? Maybe one devoted to fragrances of the 80s, of the 90s?

Gloria Vanderbilt perfume takes me right back to high school. I wore this fragrance with my Gloria Vanderbilt jeans. 🦢
Este Lauder "White Linen", my signature scent for years.
I wore that one too at some point. Such a beautiful fragrance 🥰

Hi Cee 👋 Ready for today's iconic classics' video 👍
Hope you enjoyed it!🥰
Hi Cee, love this selection, I have worn many of these back in the day and still do today. So many memories and good times! Thank you! 🥰
Thanks for sharing!!🥰
Enjoyed this vid!💖💖💖
Glad you liked it!!
I have many of the same vintages as you, but you forgot Giorgio and Red by Giorgio Beverly Hills. Also Tabu by Dana has stood the test of time.
Oh yes. I love those too. I picked just 10 for this video 🥰
SMASH UP THE LIKES ON YOUR WAY IN, OR BEFORE THE VIDEO IS OVER!
Thank you 🥰❤️
Wonderful video! It took me back to my grandma's, aunties and mom's times and I brought me such nostalgia and comfort. Thanks Cee!
Glad you enjoyed it!🥰
My favourite vintages are Estee Lauder Private collection and Jil Sander no 4. Love vintage Chanel 5 and Shalimar too! Angel though, horrible...
Great choices 🥰

Thank you Kat 🥰
You have so many iconic classics. The only vintages I have are Angel, EA Green tea, Liz Claiborne Mambo and Charlie gold by Revlon.
Great choices 🥰
I have Mambo as well. Used to wear it all the time.
They have changed the composition of obsession since the 80's no where as strong unfortunately 😢
😊❤
Thank you 🥰
