I had the parity with the long algorithm, and when you first said it was long, I laughed and thought you were joking, and then 5 secs later I realized you were serious. In the middle of the algorithm I messed up, and now I have to start over. I want to cry now...
I was thinking to myself about how the square-1 usually popped when you tried to do corner cutting... i got hit in the forehead by a piece 5 seconds after that.
alot of people have been comparing you to do cubes because you go fast, however with that aside I really like the fact you went into more detail. You and DG did an amazing job.
Thank you so much. That really helped. I have only solved it twice by myself and I wrote everything down now I don’t have to even look at the paper. I have always came to you for your tutorials I now have 48 cubes and can solve 44 of them. You even showed me how to solve 2 by 2 through 5 by 5 and now I am sub 40 seconds of 3x3. That isn’t that fast but I still use beginners method. I am thinking about watching your cfop video too! You are awesome. Keep doing what you do. And thanks to whoever read all of this.
i swear this video is the easiest and the clearest way to solve this cube! i've watched many videos but still dont get it, but this one totally helps me! thank you so much!!!!
The parity alg isn't so bad, especially considering the first half of it is an alg you already use in previous parts. It's conparable to the 4x4 OLL parity alg or the 5x5 middle edge flip alg.
Thanks z3! I just got a square1 yesterday and this tutorial really helped. You can also solve parity by undoing cube shape and slicing the 4s left if the slice.
Thank you so much Alex, I felt embarrassed to be able to solve a 15x15 in less than 1 hour but not able to solve a square-1 so i'm glad you made this tutorial. (even tho it was 7 years ago)
wow thank you so much for making this. i was using a tutorial that had huge like 13 step algs just to swap two peices and this is much easier to remember
Square 1 looks and sounds very intimidating, I hope one day when i get a square 1 puzzle, I can come back to this video to try and learn how to solve it.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! yesterday I scrambled the cube, and I couldn't even solve 6 edges. this morning I watched your tutorial and after two hours of failing and messing up I solved it! :D
This tutorial is already beter then the other one I was watching because you included all the edge cases I did edge in 3 min the last tutorial took me 2 hours to do edge and I couldn’t even do edge
The square 1 is basically the final step in becoming a cuber. I'm terrified of this thing. I can do 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, pyraminx, kilominx, and megaminx. But this. This thing scares me.

Hey Legoboyz, I love your videos, they're funny entertaining and helpful, this tutorial was awesome, you deserve at least 100,000 subscribers, keep up the good work.
What's the point to spend more time when I'm already demonstrating the algorithm and actually showing you the moves written out? That's all you should really need to learn a case (you can always pause the video and go back, or reference the algorithms in the description!).
I knew how to solve it before, but when I forgot and picked it up again, I was legitimately just playing around using logics from other puzzles to figure it out, just by playing, no algorithms.
Can someone please tell me how I just did 5 square-1 solves by myself ( just got my square-1 yesterday) and did not get the parity algorithm. Someone tell me.
I have a suggestion for the last parity, If you get , like adjacent peices are swaped in both layers then instead of doing layer by layer you can do this algorithm by keeping both of them , one on right and one on back and do -2,0/3,0/-1,-1/-2,1/ And you are done Comment below if you like 😀and tell how was it 👍
You can solve 2 parities at once by doing this - edge case 1 algorithm then edge case 2 algorithm then edge case 1 algorithm again then edge case 2 algorithm again then edge case 1 algorithm again then Solve the remaining edges if they are not solved. edge case 1 algorithm - (1,0)/(-1,1)/(0,-1) edge case 2 algorithm - /(3,0)/(-3,-3)/(0,3)/ (you can use any permutation for any parity in this cube(the two opposite edge swapped) and no more 2x parity!) but this is useless for 1x parity
After watching the video i was like *wow this was easier than I thought* so yeah lol. I also figured out the middle layer all by myself. Thx so much for the tutorial!! :D
I learned sq1, 2x2 Ortega, 4x4, and 5x5 from him, and I will learn megaminx in the near future. So I agree with you, legoboyz3 makes the best twisty puzzle tutorials!

-2,0/3,0/-1,-1/-2,1/
And you are done

Jordan Crawland lol I just went to Ruwix.com and gave up on this vid
You can solve 2 parities at once by doing this -
edge case 1 algorithm then
edge case 2 algorithm then
edge case 1 algorithm again then
edge case 2 algorithm again then
edge case 1 algorithm again then
Solve the remaining edges if they are not solved.
edge case 1 algorithm - (1,0)/(-1,1)/(0,-1)
edge case 2 algorithm - /(3,0)/(-3,-3)/(0,3)/
(you can use any permutation for any parity in this cube(the two opposite edge swapped) and no more 2x parity!)
but this is useless for 1x parity
Should i post it just in notation?
