I had the parity with the long algorithm, and when you first said it was long, I laughed and thought you were joking, and then 5 secs later I realized you were serious. In the middle of the algorithm I messed up, and now I have to start over. I want to cry now...

  • @mrkitloin
    @mrkitloin 7 лет назад +1621

There is only 1 way around the parity...
Scramble it again and start over and pray you don't get parity again.

Thank you so much. That really helped. I have only solved it twice by myself and I wrote everything down now I don’t have to even look at the paper. I have always came to you for your tutorials I now have 48 cubes and can solve 44 of them. You even showed me how to solve 2 by 2 through 5 by 5 and now I am sub 40 seconds of 3x3. That isn’t that fast but I still use beginners method. I am thinking about watching your cfop video too! You are awesome. Keep doing what you do. And thanks to whoever read all of this.

I honestly thought that you were laying down the sarcasm pretty thick with the parity algorithm. Then I saw it.

You really need to explain how the layers turn what way in the algorithms better and go over all of the cases thoroughly and not just fly through them

What's the point to spend more time when I'm already demonstrating the algorithm and actually showing you the moves written out? That's all you should really need to learn a case (you can always pause the video and go back, or reference the algorithms in the description!).

I knew how to solve it before, but when I forgot and picked it up again, I was legitimately just playing around using logics from other puzzles to figure it out, just by playing, no algorithms.

I have a suggestion for the last parity,
If you get , like adjacent peices are swaped in both layers then instead of doing layer by layer you can do this algorithm by keeping both of them , one on right and one on back and do
    -2,0/3,0/-1,-1/-2,1/
    And you are done
Comment below if you like 😀and tell how was it 👍

You can solve 2 parities at once by doing this -
    edge case 1 algorithm then
    edge case 2 algorithm then
edge case 1 algorithm again then
edge case 2 algorithm again then
edge case 1 algorithm again then
Solve the remaining edges if they are not solved.
    edge case 1 algorithm - (1,0)/(-1,1)/(0,-1)
    edge case 2 algorithm - /(3,0)/(-3,-3)/(0,3)/
(you can use any permutation for any parity in this cube(the two opposite edge swapped) and no more 2x parity!)
but this is useless for 1x parity
