So on vatican news website they published the full statement and EWTN did not read the statement at all. Holy See said in tge statement they "deplore" the offense to Christians in the Olympic Opening Ceremony. Why did yall not read that?

All the comments who are attacking the Pope people have no idea how busy he is and it was very smart of him to wait and view the situation in its full before making a quick comment right away it’s sad to see the conflict in the church and how even people who claim to be Catholic are manipulated by the media to attack our own Pope I’ll pray my Rosary more often now for the Pope and the rest of the church to be protected and brought together by the Holy Spirit and any Catholics reading this should too 🙏✝️✨✨
This media outlet did not read the statement put out by the Holy See denouncing the opening ceremony as "deplorable". It seems like everyone, everywhere, are being manipulated by wrong or insufficient information purposefully or accidentally. Reading all these angry comments directed at Pope Francis, it is wrong. I will also pray more as well. God will hear us.
I’m not sure if you’ve realised what’s quite obvious or you’ve been totally brainwashed since childhood but the Vatican is one of the most corrupted institutions of all time, responsible for many atrocities. First they need to look in the mirror before pointing fingers
Three brief notes about that message.
(1) It took 9 full days to scribble it.
(2) It's not signed by Francis. There's no explicit mention that it was approved by Francis. Formally, it's just another of the numberless statements that are coming out daily (not from the Pope but) from the Holy See.
(3) It's meant "to deplore the offence done to many Christians and believers of other religions". Believers of other religions? Which religions?
I'm a Catholic in good standing; I honestly respect the Pope; but, as far as I'm concerned, that statement is worthless.
It took Erdoğan to put some sense into the Pontiff's head by questioning him about his silence on the Paris Scarlage
His " pholosophy of " Inclusivess" is what is seen in the lead to the Scarlage ,
Francis doesn't represent God anymore but his own personal opinions and beliefs.
He is causing a great divide in the Catholic Church .
We will have two factions of the Catholic Church soon .
Obedience
It is what the Holy Trinity has ask us to do. Pray so that the Holy Spirit grant us the ability to desern among the media, our actions, our thoughts and our own Spiritual war in order to abide by this request.

The person who composed that sentence demonstrates a lamentable ignorance of syntax. A good English teacher would have marked that sentence wrong in a Grade 9 essay. Are not journalists expected to be able to write good English any more? Disappointing that EWTN has such low standards.
