I believe they are misguided for supporting labour but I have respect for the vote. This Labour party is not for the people, does not care about the working class and will bring this country to its knees.
@@oldmare444They’re advocating for either an untenable small party (eg the Greens or the Workers Party), a hypothetical party with no as-yet proven basis in reality or actual electoral potential, or (and I shudder to contemplate this) Reform UK.
The fact that Starmer's Labour is what the UK got after years of suffering through the Tories is so depressing; with a bullet proof majority for at least 5 years to boot.

From CNN 'Public records showed that Starmer had accepted tens of thousands of pounds in gifts from a key financial donor, including money for clothes and glasses' - Wow!
Interesting to watch the voting! All the young lackeys in the front rows voted against the motion. Probably the “ brilliant” young minds advising Starmer and Reeves on policy rather than the experienced party politicians that are very quiet on the WFA!
They probably think that every pensioner is getting the WFA. I just wish that journalists of all colours would correct one misconception : Could somebody PLEASE point out two facts: One - the WFA is per household, so a couple under 80 years old get £100 each, a single pensioner under 80 gets £200. @@sandradavies7804 27% of pensioners are millionaires, they absolutely should not be getting WFA, also, WFA isn't going away, it's just going to those who actually need it.
@@overthemoon34 It depends on the definition of millionaire. True, house prices have risen so much (especially in the south) that on paper some pensioners may well be "millionaires". @@sandradavies7804 They're still millionaires, they're CHOOSING not to sell property worth £1m and downsize to support their lifestyle, like most people do.
Quite frankly, millionaires should not be given handouts. Struggling pensioners should be supported, but, for instance, a 75 year old property tycoon underserving and price gauging their young tenants should not.
Labour know it's wrong to restrict WFA and the excuses given - stability, economy and 'run on the pound' are pathetic when they dish out bumper pay rises to the strikers absent from their jobs.
I just wish that journalists of all colours would correct one misconception about the winter fuel allowance.
