Cashmere comes from goats, mostly the type that roams within Asian areas such as Mongolia, Tibet, Northern India, Iran, Afghanistan and Southwest China. In the cashmere industry, they're shorn in midwinter, at a time when they need their coats the most, and as a result, the vulnerable animals can die of cold stress. The cashmere is the soft down under the wool which means the goats are practically skinned while being sheared so the producers can get enough off. The goats are also artificially impregnated as more goats means more wool. The product is also not eco in the slightest as it has to travel so far to get to you and has a massive carbon footprint. An article online from PETA (a global animal rights organisation) states that almost four decades of investigations by PETA affiliates have clearly shown that for all animal-derived materials, including cashmere, workers either take live animals' hair, skin, or feathers by force or kill them for it - and every part of the process involves cruelty, often severe.
"Goats farmed in China and Mongolia need their coats to protect them from the bitter cold, but they're frequently shorn in midwinter to meet market demand, and many then die from exposure as a result.
"Young goats with perceived 'defects' in their coats are slaughtered, and native wildlife is often persecuted and killed to protect the industry.”

I think Billie does a really good job of dressing masculine while not being skinny!! maybe take inspiration from her?
girl it's all about the pants, i realized. i got boobies, a butt and a waist and an overall "feminine" figure and i still manage to look relatively gender neutral on a day to day basis! as soon as you find that perfect pair of not too tight pants (my favorite is good wool/cotton pinstripe dress pants - get them tailored if you can!), the rest of the fit will fall in to place. paired with good jewelry and a graphic shirt from the men's section, for example...
