I thank Allah then you shaikh as I’ve been a harsh salafi so many years now. Recently I was trying to work out is there a way in Islaam to make oneself find it a lot easier to carry out obligations and leave off Haram completely and find a lot easier to carry out Sunnah acts to complete the deficiencies in the obligatory acts. Turns out it was staring me in the face. I’ve been researching trying to be sincere and a little open minded carefully with contemplation and some common sense and I’ve realised that 1- the Atharis, Maatureedees and Asharis are all part of Ahlus Sunnah, 2- the Prayer description in one of the 4 Madhabs is a lot more authentic and reliable than the Prayer description by any contemporary scholars because the 4 Madhabs are built upon the Fiqh of the Sahaaba and Tabi’een and then refined by thousands of scholars within that Madhab. 3- That pure Sunni Sufism is absolutely crucial to refine one’s Islaam inside out in terms of Quality. And many Sufi scholars would warn and correct wrong practices of Sufis before anybody else. 25 years I’ve been brainwashed and only recently admitted to myself perhaps I’m wrong after seeing the Salafis split up so much within and keep splitting more in the past 25 years and starting asking Allah to guide me in knowing what is the correct way and now I need to re-learn whatever I learnt. The generation of Salaah ud-Deen al-Ayoobi only came after going through Sufism as is well documented and the leaders against colonialism were too. I can’t believe how I used to be against all of you so much. I thank Allah for guidance and that Allah made people like you Shaikh that take the time and effort to clarify these matters. Jzkl

Mashallah. You mentioned my country Uzbekistan which is an integral part of tasawwuf, even today. I grew up with it, not knowing it was ingrained in everything from gardening to weddings, bazaars to maghrib murmurs and conversations and saying duas and Amin after meals. Remembering Allah in a way that Salafis cannot comprehend has been such an important part of who we are as Central Asians. I get rolling eyes when I tell people about my more Sufi inclinations and less of a Salafi approach. To me reminding my heart, giving it taskin and feeling joyful that Allah is with me is very important which justifies it all at every aspect of my life. JazakAllah Khairan for this brief but beautiful summary about tasawwuf.

There is no mention of the term Sufism in the Qur’an or Sunnah of the Prophet (saww). There is no need to add anything to the deen of Allah, it was completed by the time the Prophet (saww) passed away. It is an innovation.
Sufi is claiming to know more than the Prophet of Alkah (saww) and his companions.
Fiqh is a human exercise to answer questions that arose after the Prophet (saww) using the Shariah. It is time and space limited and a moving target .
There are lot of Sufi Hadith that are not in the canonical books of Hadith.Sufis have tried to appropriate Ahsan, except that it is part of Islam and existed before anyone had heard of or seen a Sufi.
Sufis have two levels of teaching, for the aam where they mostly talk about tazkia, zikr etc, but then there are teachings for the khaasa , which are a parallel religion of mysticism

I am a layman and I have not watched the video. So it's Wong to comment without watching the full video I know. But I will watch it later when I get time.
As a layman I can certainly tell you that most innovations Bid'ah in Islam arrived from Sufism. Especially grave worshiping. I am from a village where people sit over the grave once in a month where historically there is no grave of the pious person. They do zikr of Nakshbandi or Chisti tareeqa... They hate us for not adopting their views. They don't quote Quran and Sunnah and don't call to people to Quran and Sunnah. They also don't call to Salah with Hikma. But love to to milad These so called Sufis do Urus once in a year. Two parties of the Bebries are also fighting for the key of the money block of the grave. They even reached police station.
They don't come to fullfill their obligations to the mosque. Also the Imam is full of innovations. They labelled me as thief for not doing innovations. We have only few selective people who don't associate themselves with these innovations and come regularly to Salah.
My mother once said to me " I am worried how to fulfill the 600 tasbih given by the Peer" ...since when I was young I had doubt about Peer muridi... They think that the Peer will take them to Jannah. So they don't pray or atleast Full fill their obligations far is knowing Quran and Sunnah.
My question is what is Muhammadi peace be upon him Tareea?
We know that we have to do Zikr after Obligatory prayers from Sunnah. I saw my young friend who also became a mureed of a peer doing tasbih saying to me I have to fulfill my Sabak.... but don't pray the obligatory prayers. So these so called Sufis destroyed the whole natural message of Islam

Sounds like how the non Muslims usually blame all Muslims for the foolishness of some extremists who claim to be Muslim. Your being just as ignorant and arrogant as them. So called Sheikh, peer, alim, mufti etc.. there a dodgy people who claim these titles would you go as far as painting all of them with the same brush??? Think before you speak

SubhanAllaah you have a lot of wisdom mashaAllaah. You're right some so called sufis have done evil.
Don't fall into the non-Muslim trap though, where just because of ISIS or terrorist they think every Muslim is the same.
There are true Sufi Sheikhs, and I pray Allaah shows you one whom when you see him, you are reminded of Allaah and he points the way to you in developing depth in Islam.

So why do we call it Tassauf.? Is this what Nabi SAW taught? So the ulama know more then the prophet SAW. They can tell you how to do it a certain way that was not taught by our beloved prophet Muhammad SAW. This is how the dances and music got introduced and lead people astray. You can be close to Allah by only following the sunnah!

I’m researching into this all but as far as I understand so far the other sciences of Islaam like Uloomul Hadeeth and Usoolul Fiqh too were developed. So Purification of the Soul is a science from the sciences of Islaam. All the sciences of Islaam have mistakes and errors and deviants and so on but these are clarified by the scholars of those sciences. Save with Tasawwuf. I’m still learning Jzkl

Tasawwuf is the path in which you go against yourself to get closeness to Allah. In short, it is to be a better Muslim. What are you referring to. I totally understand, and it's wrong because I myself dislike it, and it goes against the sunnah. I follow Naqshbandi Mujaddidy Tariqa, which teaches me to sit like in praying position and remember or call upon Allah many times like you do other dhikhr. Most importantly, with respect. If you can't sit, just remember, silently Allah, wherever you are, whether you are in wudhu or not.

An extra effort from your side to be a better Muslim. As for who dance and music in Tasawwuf, the simple answer is that they are so famous because the Real Pious Spiritual Masters because they still avoid TV and Internet so you can't see them. If even you see them, you would only find them giving lectures on Quran and Sunnah.

With all due respect, this is just absolutely and unequivocally wrong. No Sunnī, Salafī, Atharī, Ahlul-Ḥadīth has a problem with "Taṣawwuf" if you describe or define it as the science of self purification or refinement of the heart, so on and so forth. And this was explicitly stated by the children and grandchildren of Al-Imām Muḥammad ibn 'Abdil-Wahhāb رحمه الله, as it comes in "Ad-Durar As-Saniyyah", you can check the reference.
However, all we ask is that these matter not be left to the whims and desires of individuals - rather, dhikr and its mannerisms were taught to us in the most beautiful manner by our Beloved ﷺ; so establish your forms and ways by following in his footsteps. Can that be done??.... No.
So, you're oversimplifying the criticism. You have "Ṣūfī Ṭuruq" which frantically jump, whip their heads side to side, convulse violently, spin in circles endlessly, so on and sofm forth - and these are only the deviance in their actions, we haven't even began to touch on their heretical beliefs which many even lead their holders outside the fold of Islam.
So, be fair. Be honest. Don't lie.

When the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه و اله و سلم was asked, how should we send blessings on You? He replied : OH ALLAH, SEND BLESSINGS ON ME & MY FAMILY AS YOU SENT BLESSINGS ON IBRAHIM & HIS FAMILY ! He never said "companions" meaning it's BID'AT !!! Did the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه و اله و سلم practise 'tasawwuf' or recommended it, the answer is no, then it's BID'AT and all bid'ats are perdition
    -------> in HELL !
Imam ul Fuqaha, Imam Ja'far Al Sadiq عليه الصلاة و السلام said : SUFIS ARE OUR ENEMIES ! If Ehlul Bait عليهم الصلاة و السلام rejects sufism, then it's PERDITION !

I used to think this. Trust me I’m a harsh Salafi. Research and ask Allah to guide you to the Haqq wherever it is and however it is and be a tiny bit open minded and use a bit of common sense. That’s what worked for me. And I’ve been researching in Arabic mainly. Jzkl

Also, the purest Tarikat is Naksibendiyye due to you can't be sheik without very long madrasa education so naksibendiyye is the most strict to the sunnah that is why stayed purest

Reality is sufism is like any other groups they have kufr bidah deviants amongst them and good amongst them as well harsh reality is how many sufis today are good answer is very few majority are in Arabi followers committing clear cut act of kufr shirk whether it's in grave worship to wahdatul wajood to other all Muslim are tablighi if we took the actual definition of the word but not every Muslim belongs to the group tabligh same with sufi you can say original sufo were good did dhikr but by todays standing calling yourself sufi means you are inclined to ibn Arabi barelwi type sufis even salafi have those who commit kufr bidah deviated practices this is no hidden fact and they have good amongst them as well

Sufizm is the westernized name of Tasawwuf
    We reject the name sufism.
A Muslim who wants to practice Tasawwuf must learn and practice seriah based on ehli sünnet vel cemaat, which are those 4 mazhab survived until now (hanefi, Şafi, malik and hanbeli) and in itikad esariyye and maturidiyye. So if someone believes and practices islam based on these, then Tasawwuf they can practice
Tasawwuf is the way of gaining ikhlas and ihsan based on the Quran and sunnah. Dont just be stuck on words. Tasawwuf is fikh of kalp (heart)
Tasawwuf is the way of knowing Allah based on the Quran and sunnah
Everything in Tasawwuf is coming from the Quran and sunnah . Scholars used all those to create a systematic educational way to tame our nafs.
