In the video I stated the Recoil spring kept breaking which it did but, I think the problem was with the Spring-Rope holder screw, looks like I did not have the outside-spring that wrapped around the black washer-clip in correctly.
Later in the video I showed how the spring wraps around the black washer-clip before the retaining screw is put in place.

I'm surprised you're having to replace the recoil on your trimmer already. I'm pretty sure I just broke the spring on mine, so I'm about to do it and found your video. I've got a GX31 unit I bought in 2004 that's got over 1000 hours on it and was run over by a tractor years ago. Grand total maintenance on it has been yearly oil changes, a couple of string heads, a few spark plugs, and an air filter, plus the electrical tape to hold the handle together after the tractor mishap. Great machine, Honda rules!

This is a useful video for me I have the same motor. My pull start assembly is fine but the mount will not turn and the cord will not pull at all. Not sure if it is seized. Any advice you could share would be much appreciated

Remove the spark plug and see if you can tell if the piston is moving. If it is still seized take the recoil off and see if it turns.
