Best wishes and compliments to all presenters those are contributing on U.Tube.. Very nice work for researcher and research students. Saleem Raza Bhatti
Down to earth presentation and clarity in the work done. Above all, originality and well organized and structured delivery. The highlighted part here is simplicity in the language used without losing the essence of the work accomplished. In simpler words, brevity and accuracy is more prominent here. Lot of things to say for the sake of simplicity some vital constituents notified. Thanks for sharing the paramount piece of work.
This was really a well organised presentation in a lively atmosphere.Well done Amrita...and the audience. It will certainly help me in preparing my defense.
Jay Hartin here in India premier institutes will usually harass candidates by asking so many questions and questions and questions, inspite a candidate holds great publications. I have heard the same in UK as well. Hmm this is interesting to know that Stanford is cool in handling PhD defense....
This is just public presentation or what's known in many US institutions as exit seminar. There is a defense portion not open to the public. Just for examiners and mine was 2 hrs.

ONE HOUR?! Holy POOP.
+TheOn3LeftBehind yes, final defense is one hour nornally
@@Nnelshshsh no, not really. Remember she has to condense 5-7 years worth of research in a 1 hour presentation.
interesting! this makes me scared too, I'll have to do the same soon
but in my case just a master dissertation
I'm in love
Happy pie day
What kind of defense is this? Not a single sword fight or anything. It's like Stanford was just giving it away.

I didnt know its allowed to film it
Was her program really 6 yrs long?
Don't be tricked by this. Defenses are usually brutal and look like street fights. Prepare yourself well or you're gonna be punched every which way.
What language is she speaking?
4:02 The temperatures rise to a very high temperatures.
Her reaction:😣😅😁
lol
GUD GOOD
She has a hindi accent.
Who else is stupid enough to waste their time on a PhD ? Foreign talent of course from India and China.

Looks like we have another 35 yr old still slaving away in his 5th year as a post doc without a job prospect
Sorry to say. Phd is a utter waste of time, energy and money. Better find a job after graduation and lead a happy life
without scientists you wouldn't be using internet today! you wouldn't have electricity in the first place
Yaa some one told that to Stephen Hawking once, obviously he ignored it
Roshan ji it is utterly wrong to say that!!!
Every advancement in technology happens because a phd student researched it and was later on applied.
